@wildshegoes I was just about to leave a comment saying the same thing. I watch your channel for a variety of reasons, one being how your values come through. I do like watching channels with more outspoken people too, like Leena Norms and Laurenandthebooks. Marina, your non-confrontational way of being in the world is of great value. You bring joy and peace to many with what you share online - the world really needs this. Also, think what Marie Kondo would say about your motorcycle, "Does it bring you joy?" It so obviously does! I'm sure you will find a way to have it in your life with Vongola.

Have you ever thought that your videos ARE making a difference? In a world that can bring so much concern, I watch neutral videos like yours, and I get a reprieve along with inspiration. You are a platform and you are using it well. I learn how to be brave, do it yourself and dont sweat it if not perfect, to treat people kindly, enjoy the good, look on the bright side, etc. This is all about who you are. Leave it at that and keep things happy. People are not going to change just because I voice my thoughts....and you won't bring change to people by voicing yours. You are changing the world, by showing. Thank you. 😊

From all my years of active activism I’ve learned that example just being whatever you believe without hiding is the most effective guidance to real internal change in others.
For example, the depth of your kindness, patience and acceptance of the dogs in you care, I had never seen that before. And you showed it to me video after video without scripting or film making or maybe even intention. You were just being you and I followed you into a new depth of experiencing and thinking about humans and domestic animal relationships.

Dear Marina, as someone who has watched your videos since "Pam the Van" days knows your values and lifestyle choices are unique and true. For anyone who takes a moment to watch your content, it's obvious to see where your feelings lay. In my humble opinion, you don't have to justify or explain anything. Unfortunately we live in troubling times. Wars, climate change, politics and social media all have foreboding dark sky's on the horizon. Personally, I've always watched your content to see a strong, resourceful ( not to mention creative and hard working) woman who has ditched societal convention to live a life that is really hers. In the mega world of TH-cam , your videos have a beautiful signature. I like the music, the never ending projects, the focus on the small details and your love of dogs. My only bit of advise is to keep this channel as you have been doing. I think for many of us it's an escape from the day to day hardships people face. You are a passionate person, let your opinions and feeling be know, but perhaps create another channel to do so. The world, media and politics have become so polarized that we seek, I seek content that just shares your unique journey. PLUS ... as a lifelong motorcyclist, I know the pain and conflict of should I sell or keep a certain special bike. Bottom line for me, if it's not being used ...time to sell. There will always be a good deal on another bike somewhere if and when you decide to do more riding. Maurice

Greetings from BC Canada! I'm a private person as you are. However, I love sharing
information when I do research, especially on DIY projects, as well as sustainability in
all aspects of life. Today I will share how I feel since you requested our thoughts.
I say and do what makes me happy, with absolutely no worries what others think.
Some feel they need to acquire an army of people with the same views, and beliefs to
establish a reality for their own perception, this may be the reason why they strongly impose
on others what they believe to be true. Reality isn't like that.
When we live alone, we come to understand, and discover who we are philosophically, emotionally,
environmentally, politically and spiritually, which can be overwhelming to share with others at times.
Your videos are excellent, same way you are. Blessings.

Providing an escape from the harsh reality of life is as valuable as someone openly standing up for what they believe in.
It all depends on what you feel is right for you and your channel. Keeping in mind that you can make small changes over time to gauge what feels authentic for you and also suits your audience.

If you really love your motorcycle, I have a couple of ideas. Here where I live, I see dogs riding behind or in front of people all the time on bikes. They usually have goggles on. Lol 🤗 Also, you can always get a sidecar for your buddy. Then he will have plenty of room if you can trust him not to jump out as your going, or put him on a short leash for safety in the car. You could probably even make a seat belt from a doggy vest harness with a little ingenuity. Anyway, just a thought.❤️🐝🤗 About the other… if you don’t like conflict, I wouldn’t go into politics online. There are lots of people who just look for those with differing views to viciously attack. You have a peaceful place here. Maybe make a different channel to explore that? If it gets out of hand, then you can shut it down.❤️🐝🤗

A few moments that I found particularly evocative from an emotional point of view: this passage where you watch the leaves of the trees dancing in the wind at 13:31; and again at 19:22, you stop playing, the wind is blowing in the background, you cuddling the dog. By mental association it reminded me of the scene in the wind in Tarkovsky's film "The Mirror". Share whatever you feel comfortable sharing and always be aware that it's important to keep an open mind because we dont always see the whole picture of things and people.
I'm about to turn 69 and was completely vegan for over 35 years and was also an organic vegan farmer and grower. I had to stop being vegan in my 40s because I developed challenging food sensitivities to all beans, lentils and legumes, as well as many nuts and seeds except almonds. I was already coeliac. I still don't eat dairy but have to include fish in my diet now.
I brought my four kids up on a largely organic, vegan diet. Two still don't eat dairy but my older daughter is an organic, regenerative, minimum tillage, dairy farmer. She and her husband now run an award winning cheese and butter company. I have had to learn not to have fixed views and instead have been learning that things in life are often complex and nuanced.
The land my daughter farms is all river valley water meadows which cannot be used for growing arable crops and can only be used for cattle. Also, they do not buy in any animal feed for winter. Instead they grow herbal leys, rich in nutrients, that they cut and make into silage and haylage for winter feed. They also generate all the electricity for the whole farm and cheese production. They even feed the cattle a herbal mix to reduce methane emissions.
I have learnt a lot, that there is room in this world for many ways of doing things and being, that are still sensitive and respectful to the natural world and planet, and to who we each are as individuals. There is no one right way, instead there are countless unique ways.
I love your videos and have been watching them since you bought your Italian home. You are a real inspiration. Much love to you.

Yes to this! It's not all black and white. To me what's important is not convincing people to be vegan but to let them know how the system works so they can then decide. I think the majority of people have no idea on how their meat is grown and what is the impact of a high meat consumption on the planet. I know from experience, people still think that cows always produce milk no matter if they have a calf or not. Or think that most cows live a happy life on green pasture grazing. My hope is that when people have the data they can make a much more informed decision on how they consume. I think being vegan is one (imperfect) solution, not the only one

I love your channel because you share that part of your life that YOU feel comfortable sharing. I appreciate that you want to avoid conflict, that is how you care for yourself. If there is something you want to talk about that might trigger others, you will probably need to ignore any negative comments, perhaps this will help you grow stronger in your ability to navigate outside agitators. BUT having said that, in my opinion you should only do or say what you want to-I will love your channel and creative spirit no matter what you post.

If it‘s either/or then sell the bike and go to Scotland.
I just got back and am planning to go again. I went in a van, I got inspired a few years ago by an authentic girl living in a van she called Pam.
I do appreciate why you hold back, and it‘s your right, but selfishly I would love to hear more of your opinions. I think you have a very special mindset and a lot to offer by sharing it. But protect yourself first. Only you can know where your borders need to be. ❤

Hello dear Marina, I'm a new subscriber here. The way you look at the camera, the way you speak, what you eat, what you wear, what and how you create, it is simply hypnotizing and beautiful to me. I feel like I've known you forever.
Who you are, or who you seem to be, it really shows on the few videos that I've seen, which is 3. It is so interesting to see you do art and the way you live your life. We have similar values and I really appreciate this in someone. Most comments seem to point out that if we've been following you for a while we've known or have a very good idea of who you are, but I've seen into your soul right away, and I'm in love with what I saw.
Any time we show a part of ourselves to people, we're bound to receive criticism, good or bad, no matter how pure we might sound or what intentions we have. We simply can't please everyone and it's always a matter of whether we are okay potentially receiving this criticism or if we would rather just not have this feedback when we expose ourselves. I think what's most important here is to simply stay true to yourself.
Remember that no one knows how to take care of you like yourself. I sometimes have those insecurities, but doubting oneself or dwelling too long over these things is what creates our barriers, and sometimes those barriers are not even helping our growth.
But what do YOU want to do? Do you enjoy the unfiltered free talking without having to conceal your values, or would you prefer being on your guard a bit more not to give too much information about your life so that people find less ways to criticize? What makes YOU the happiest?
For my part, I'll follow you for who you are. I hope we can stay in touch, I have a lot of admiration for you.
    Love, Alex

Hi Marina. It's a difficult question, but I'll share my honest (gentle!) opinion. The internet is so full of people giving their opinions and being 'activist', that I think now people have one of two reactions to hearing things they disagree with - they disengage, or they react. As you say, everyone has different backgrounds, perspectives, or are at different stages in life where they've learned lessons and their opinions have changed. The chances of reaching people and changing minds online are small, and you're more likely to alienate some followers. I've left social media now, but I used to be very opinionated there (determined to change the world!)... but in fact over the last few years my own opinions have changed a lot, and I cringe now about how confident I was about everything. I think probably quite a lot of people come to channels like this one to tune out from the 'angry internet', and connect with something quieter and calmer. I was watching a knitting podcast recently, and when she started getting political I turned off. I agreed with her, but it's everywhere and it's too much. Of course, it's your channel and you can take it in any direction you like! Those are just my thoughts 🙂 (and you'll always be my Kangoo inspiration!) x

When I was growing up, I had it drummed into me to never let my left hand know what my Right hand was doing, I still always remain as private as I can, if you share stuff, then expect the world to see it, If I asked you to stand in the town where you live and shout you name, age, email address etc, you would say no way,
So many people tell the world everything on social media , but they are dangerous places, online fraud is so high now and bullying etc, well the way to stop it all is dont do it. Please Marina, I have followed you for years and chatted several times, say to yourself "Do they really need to know", try to remain as private as you can be. take care and thank you so much for all you do for nature and animals, your an Angel.

Marina you can tell us anything, especially what sustains and energises you. As a Chef, food has been my focus for over 45yrs. Many who dont understand a Vegan diet, ethics and composition have difficulty imaging how to make a constant supply of edible, plant based food, from "scratch" for themselves and/ or family/friends. Most would be overwhelmed. Maybe thats a starting point, recipes and sourcing food.😊
