I've listened to this numerous times. I hear it differently depending on my mood. It's fascinating. And definitely cinematic.

Loved your analysis & reaction on this song - i can see that this is not immediately scooped up by mainstream, as they want simpler packages - but since this grows on you - one never knows
    They´re fantastic either way

@@tokskallez yes this is a very interesting song for the album ! It’s sounds like a movie theme that wrote for something and really wanted to use it on the album !

I love youre reaction, for sure! I love this song, they never keep repeating themselves and that's what I love about them. Their musicianship and skills are incredible ❤. Jonah is into filmscoring lately and on his solo album 'Borrowed Time' are also some beautiful songs that have a cinematic feel. Aron writes these wonderful classical pieces. He has a TH-cam channel called Arvid&Aron. You should check it out some time. I feel that has influenced this song for sure.

@@discopolarizationmusic Arvid & Aron is a collaboration channel, where these two write music together and have it performed by an orchestra, as I understand. The pieces I’ve listened to so far were written sort of in a classical/modern/film music style….
Aron also has, for the longest time now, co-written most of the Dirty Loops tunes, even some of the chorus lines, some of the bass parts and harmonic structures -although it’s always been a collaborative process between the three of them.
Btw, I’d love to know more on the writing process of “When the Time is Right”…
And YEAH, check out that solo album of Jonah’s, it’s pretty unique. His cover of ‘Bad’ will blow you away 🔥💥🔥

Hey, I certainly would listen to any reaction of yours, whether with or without a video!
For me it’s about the music for sure.
I really appreciated your breakdown of this crazy tune, thanks for that!
Yeah I’m an allround Dirty Loops fan, but also appreciate each and everyone of them in their own right.
And yeah, Jonah gets to shine in this one, 100%!
Love that crazy scratchy section they drop inbetween, and that 3rd (?) bar in the very first synthy section where they mess with the beat ;)
Henrik uses two different true temperament fretted basses; they might both be 6-strings but not sure. Also don’t have a clue if they’re both sounding differently, but am guessing that they would…
That cinematic part is to die for! And yes, it absolutely sounds like some Skyfall soundtrack.
Next you could check out their 2014 original ‘Sayonara Love’ -no vid on that one. But it’s one of these mad Dirty Loops tunes that has you falling off your seat 🤣
    Thanks again 🙏☺️

Videos ! They need to be seen just as much as they need to be heard. I love the idea of your reacting to 60s music, they don’t need video, but virtuoso performances like this do!

It's typical Dirty Loops - a perfect blend of all kind of genres (even different classical genres too) that somehow make so much sense! It's a shame you didn't let it play out though. The music in the credits is actually the outro - and a great "cool down".
I'd check out songs with no videos too. If you're getting into 60s music you should check out the danish band "The Savage Rose" - they were offered contracts in the US. several times but said no thank you every time because it meant performing for the american troops as a part of the deal and they were/are very anti war. The lead singer Annisette is phenomenal and still going strong performing barefoot on stage 🙂
