I don't think Shane Eagle ever had a moment when the whole country was crazy bout him like Reece and Nasty C, I think he was in the same conversation with em cause of his skill and he was still poppin in his own right. Overall, I think this album is special and it will stand the test of time

I feel bad for Shane coz the SA fans are the most difficult to please in my opinion. Yes his album was mid but boy the fans went hard on him. I think the most important aspect of an album is authenticity. Reece never miss coz he dsnt try to please his fans, he just expresses himself and those who are loyal to him will get it... Shane on the other hand is trying hard. Nasty C almost suffered the same fade with Zulu Man... But he realized that he just needs to b himself then his fans will get it. Shane is trying hard...and dats his downfall. He shud just go back to basics and he will bounce back. He shdnt compare himself with nobody coz fans can feel that. U cnt fool SA audience, it's lyk they see through ur soul. If u not real in the booth then they will pic it up.

It's not his worse album. It's just his worst performing album STATISTICALLY. The problem is this country does not appreciate intricate and complex sounds and Shane has really experimented a lot with his sound and the direction he's taken in tandem with the country's inclination to the usual trap/urban hip hop sound (as far as hiphop/rap is concerned) meant ppl were never gonna gravitate towards his last 2 projects naturally. You can't box or compare someone like Shane Eagle and I think that's something else that has caused for the negative feedback.

Eagle keeps to himself too much,you need to be in the mix man,look at reece his a guy that keeps to him self but balances it well with being in the mix just enough. Eagle got tunes with santi, that's the diversity we want.

I personally liked the EP, but as for Green I only bump 4 tracks and AKiRA I only bump 7 tracks but I ain't gon lie it's not really a good album from him, the bars in AKiRA are jus bad for his standards as a conscious rapper but I also still f@#k with Yellow and DMF, Ammo and Sun's baby

The artists you comparing Eagle to have been dropping mid projects since 2018. They are still able to make hits which keeps their numbers up but in terms of substance Eagle clears. If we compare catalogue by catalogue Eagle has the greater catalogue because he has less Ls in the past few years
