  • Ramghat in Ujjain is about 1 km from Mahakal temple and near Harsiddhi Mata temple.
    During Amrit Manthan, some drops of Amrit fell in Sundar Kund near Ram Ghat of Shipra river, Kumbh is organized every 12 years at Ram Ghat in Ujjain.
    There is an ancient Chitragupt temple at Ram Ghat, here Lord Ram worshiped Dharmaraj Chitragupt ji, here Kalsarp Dosh Puja and Pitra Dosh Puja are done, in Chitragupt temple there is also worship to pacify Rahu Ketu.
    At Ram Ghat, Lord Ram offered his father Dashrath and mother Kaushalya, the Shipra river flows towards the north direction, the north direction is considered to be of the gods.
    Bathing in Shipra river gives freedom from all sins, Shipra river is known as Ganga of Lord Mahakal.
    There are many ancient temples at Ram Ghat, some of them are prominent, pishach Mukteshwar Shivling, Vaibhav Lakshmi, Rameshwaram Mahadev, Shivraj Ganga Temple etc. At Ram Ghat, devotees perform tarpan and worship for the attainment of salvation of their ancestors.
    At a distance of 2.5 km from Ujjain Junction, Harsiddhi Temple is a sacred Hindu temple located in Ujjain, Madhya Pradesh. Situated near Mahakal Temple, it is one of the most sacred temples in India, and among the popular religious Ujjain places to visit.
    Dedicated goddess Parvati, Harsiddhi Temple is one of the 51 Shaktipeeths of Mata Sati. According to the legend, when Goddess Parvati had gone into the sacrificial fire, Lord Shiva carried her body and her elbow is fell here and thus the temple came into existence. The main deity is colored with dark vermillion color in the center of a very large temple complex. Tourists can also pay obeisance to the idols of Goddess Annapurna, Goddess Mahalakshmi, and Goddess Mahasaraswati.
    The temple architecture has some Maratha influences. It has four entrances, one in each direction, and the main entrance is on the eastern side. The Sri Yantra, the symbol of power or shakti, is also enshrined in the temple. The two pillars adorned with lamps here are special features of Maratha art. These lamps lit during Navaratri, present a glorious spectacle. There is an ancient well on the premises, and an artistic pillar adorns the top of it.
    The 9 day Navratri festival is the major festival celebrated in the Harsiddhi Mata Temple and the temple is decorated with flowers and lights.
