I figured I would revisit this subject, after the DLC release, in case you are interested. It's a waste of $50. It's Eternity Island 2.0... 3 characters, a short villain story, 20 new ingredients for recipes, and a couple of repetitive side quests. You have to run around the map with a butterfly net, chasing things like a poor man's Pokemon, to do the world's easiest puzzles and receive meager awards. And it glitches out. A LOT. I had to restart 4 times in 90 minutes, then I just put the game down for most of the day. Played later in the evening for a couple of hours... ran out the story and opened the biome regions. Overall, smaller content than before, boring biome expansions, and the same old stuff you've done twice before. Instead of thorns to remove, it's ink. Instead of Mist, it's a different currency (I couldn't be bothered to remember it's name). Instead of penstemon and daisy it's different flowers. And more mushrooms to pick, a few different gem types, a few different resource types, and was, rinse, repeat. You saved $50. I'm already bored with it. Gonna move Flynn to the Valley, finish crafting all rhe new stuff, then I'll probably never go back.
I had the game on PC, Switch and PS (Ultimate editions) and I was spending all my time on it. Had every single item (including items from premium shop, seasonal passes and secret quests), done all the quest incl. the secret quests until the first expansion pack came out. My Valley was erased, I had missing items (including items from premium shop that appeared on it afterwards as “owned” and rewards from seasonal passes and from secret quests, tried to do them but couldn’t do them anymore), progress with characters and resources. I contacted Gameloft and after a month of waiting for a response from them, they said that they cannot help because they don’t keep saves of players’ Valleys (so Gameloft have no Colud), and they believe it will be fun for me to start again. I was like no thanks I quit! I never touched this game again. I bought the first expansion pack and never played it. I have to admit. I do miss this game, but I feel absolutely disappointed by the Gameloft and if I will be giving the amount of money I have been giving them I expect a little bit of respect not only as a player but also as a payer that I was. I do agree with everything you said in your video 100%! I moved to Palia. I love it! I have to admit that Palia is probably 10 times better that Disney Dreamlight Valley!
That's so weird because I messed up my cloud save (forgot to save on one device and logged into another to play) and Gameloft was able to retrieve my original save.
@@LeannSlowly I play Palia on the switch most of the time since I have limited PC time and it's been okay. It's not as beautiful as on my PC or steamdeck but I can get a lot done and my switch stays connected to my wifi better than my steamdeck for some reason.
Scramble coin is not for me! It’s a just a frustrating annoying slow grind for me! I love puzzles! So it will be more enjoyable for me and worth it. The new tool looks really cool too, to me. I can’t wait! I also need a game to play away from my pc whilst traveling, so this makes sense and perfect timing!
I stopped playing once they decided to charge for each DLC. I was put off by the fact that they changed their tune about it being F2P after I'd supported them on not just one game system but two. (Mostly because the Switch release was so buggy.) And at the full rewards too, the big platinum pack. And then they announced they were going to charge us not only in game currency, but also to get each expansion. WHAT? Gurl, you don't get to charge for admission, charge for special currency, and then charge for DLC. I'm not paying, at any rate. It's a beautiful game and it's fun to pass the time in, but not for the number of microtransactions they have.
I was there prelaunch like a lot of us. They offered special items, moonstones, etc as an incentive because the idea was that every piece of DLC would be paid for in micro transactions. This game heavily advertised the eventual f2p feature then pulled the rug in favor of this model. BIG yikes from me. Plus the fact that they seemingly refuse to fix major issues with this game tells me it’s nothing but a cash grab. There’s no reason SBV should cost $50, even with the “special items”. They’ll eventually release them in the shop as usual. I bet we see Baby Peg around spring time. The only thing special about them is how special you’ll feel having them before everyone else. But am I gonna buy it though? Probably. Maybe. Eventually. I didn’t even finish the second DLC because the game was such a buggy nightmare I got pissed and set it aside.
I agree with you so much; everything you said. I can relate to this feeling. I loved it for so long but it’s just become too overwhelming for me and the repetitiveness of the star path really killed it for me. I wish I still wanted to play but I just can’t force myself to be interested in it anymore, and that stinks too because it used to bring me a lot of comfort and happiness. All valid points in my eyes.
Totally fair opinions! The only thing i’d say is I don’t think the game is totally broken. I always hear people say its really buggy and crashes on switch, but its pretty smooth for me and I haven’t had the same issues as others so far thankfully.
I agree, I don't think it's totally broken. It does play pretty much fine for me most of the time, I was just annoyed with the dreamsnaps bug and put off seeing people complaining about issues.
@ yupp that’s so disappointing and discouraging:( and I saw another video that someone else had the same issue. I hope you return to the game one day ☺️ I really enjoyed your videos and valley tour 🩷
@@Fleurs_ so it's actually not a bug (but still a problem in my opinion), but intended. If you look at the event page it says you must check your mail within 2 weeks (I think that's the time) in order to claim them. I check every week so I don't have that problem, but think it's bs still! Lol
I really appreciate this video! I had set DDV aside several weeks ago for all the reasons you mentioned in this video. Then when the showcase came out I did get excited. BUT I have been having to drag myself through trying to get ready for it. I am SO tired of nighthorns. I had to finish the star path which was a such a drag. And because I'd skipped so many dreamsnaps I couldn't get any of the cute premium shop stuff (and I don't have the funds to constantly buy packs plus as you mentioned, it is starting to feel a little icky that we need to keep spending so much money). Your video has honestly given me a huge feeling of relief. I don't really want to play it right now either. If I did it would only be because of FOMO. I feel better letting it go for now. Thank you. 💙
I think you are going to miss out. No game is perfect but DDV is unique and this DLC has the fairytale theme I would think you'd love. Moonstones can be expensive but I actually spend less on DDV than some other games with shops because I can earn so much of them for free. For most I think if you bought the last chapter you are likely to buy this one, so Flynn being part of it makes sense, otherwise he's on his own without her anyway. I take breaks from DDV for weeks or months at a time to avoid the repeativeness you are suffering from, but coming back is a joy.
You’re right the theme is great and it makes sense about Flynn! It’s been a good few months of feeling this way and I really did hope coming back I would get that feeling of joy but it hasn’t happened! I am sad about that because I have spent so much time in the game!
I remember the excitement I got when I first found out about dreamlight valley and started playing it! Sadly I no longer have that thrill because of how expensive the games gotten, I'm not in a position to constantly afford to buy moonstones but I'm hopeful for the new dlc. I literally have no quests and all the villagers are level 10 like they're only making a few hours of new content once every few months and then I've got nothing to do for months on end waiting for the next updates. Rift in time was a waste of money and I hate timebending! I feel that dreamlight valley has become more about the cash in their pockets and not about the players! It's the first game that got me to get a console and then suddenly the amount of bugs and crashes with the Xbox series S made the game unplayable! It works great on the series X but that's not a console I could afford especially for one game! I'm excited for the dlc but damn the games too expensive!
I am very excited for the game's dlc, but I can understand people wanting to pass on it. There are some games that dont speak and thats okay! for me thats sadly majority of new cozy games right now. I wish I could like them but I just dont lol The DLC imo is waaaaaay better than the rift in times delivery and the content planned with it. The rift in time story felt rushed and not long, Im hoping this one will be more engaging. There is also more content being added like puzzles, which I am soo excited for as I feel like its different! My biggest wish is for multiplayer to expanded on more, because I enjoy playing with friends. But so far its off to a great start! I think they have really focused on improving not only the quest and stories, but delivering great items as well. However, like Palia, I hope they continue to expand the item limit on all biomes. I do appreciate that each map has its own item limit though. My personal excitement right now is the floating islands (i hope a separate item limit for those) allowing more space, rotation like palia has, and more house skins! (including scrooges i think??) I think the game is on a positive note with future updates as they have focused so hard on hotfixes and bugs being removed. I will always be playing, ddv is like my palia/acnh now since im burnt on acnh after all the islands we made lol and when I need a break from palia from its grind. Thank you for your thoughts!, all opinions are valid.
Not sure it's that good of a deal ! Palia is free, you can still play all the content without spending a dime which is not the case with DDV. And not all the skins are that expensive. Some are just about 5€, most of them are around 15€. Sure some are more around 35€, but you can still play the game without them. It's just a bonus !
@@Just_Alice. If you have money to spend it's a far better deal to buy ddv then one or 2 cosmetic items in Palia. Also you can get premium items in ddv for free if you do your dreamsnaps, vote and grab your blue chests. If you want anything in Palia's shop, you HAVE to spend real money you have no other choice. That is not the case for ddv. This is what has turned me off from Palia. It is very nice to be able to get premium shop items in ddv just by playing the game.
@@Zaralove1750 I've already spent 130€ in DDV just to be able to play to the base game and Rift in time. I think I've spent enough for a game that has still not addressed some of the issues it has from start of early access. Dreamsnaps is great to help getting moonstones for free (I have a ton thanks to this already), but DDV has now made mandatory to buy moonstones to get some items (see the Witchy outfit for this season, which is going to change next update) and I really don't like that approach in a PAID game. On the other hand, the access and whole game in Palia is FREE. I've played for months before deciding I wanted to support the game. Started with a 8.50€ bundle that gave me 4 outfits and a glider skin. A lot of people make it look like Palia is very expensive but it doesn't have to be. Sure the shiny animated things can be a bit much. But no spending is required to play everything. I see the shop there as a donation to help the development of the game. And the shop is not in your face like in DDV where you can't skip it when you go through the menu. A new area will be added soon too and no spending to access it is required... So I guess I'll stay in Palia for a while 🙂

I don't expect it to be free at all and if we all just sit back and think everything is hunky dorey when there are issues nothing will ever change. Providing constructive and fair criticism should not be shunned.
@@Fleurs_ there def are issues. But a thing you need to remember is that it is a Disney brand game, prices on Disney stuff has always been too high look at Disney land? I’m almost 30 now and I still have not been there because of the cost. It’s not awesome that they do have that many problems , but they are at least trying to fix them unlike a lot of other games that only says they will and then never does it, are they slow yes, they should have hold off with some of the new things so game’s make up could get time to adjust and not bugg out as much. But it’s a big scale game they are making and should they had waited completely putting it out till they were sure not as many bugs were in the game sure. But if you were some of the first people to play it , it actually didn’t had that many bugs to begin with but they started adding up because they are trying to hurrying their progress. Which people who complain about the game is fueling a lot more than people who’s okay with the game cost and bugs. Ofc I’m saying all of this as a neutral opinion here. I hate the prices are so high, and I hate they don’t take their time to fix the bugs before putting new stuff out each they have put new stuff out 🙏🏻, but this is meant to be a cozy relaxed layed back farming sim game and I do get it can get repetitive but that might be the reason you don’t like as much as others do because that type of games isn’t for everyone and it should not be changed to fit people who isn’t into it because of that hope you get what I’m saying I’m trying to be as neutral in my wording as possible because it’s a cash machine but that’s to be expected from Disney and unless Disney wants to change that they won’t change it and we have seen this time and time again no matter what people do Disney comes out doing things their way or nothing happens at all.
@@GatorGeckz The game is not made by Disney, it is made by Gameloft and although we don't know how the monetary aspect of the game works I don't think they should be comparable. But I do agree about the prices being high! I agree about the bugs in the beginning, it didn't have as many issues. I appreciate the neutral opinion!
I think the addition of floating islands for end-game dreamsnap usage is an absolutely killer idea and takes care of a lot of problems inwws seeing people having with dreamsnaps
honestly I stopped playing DDV ages ago for many of these same reasons. I was trying to hang in there for my favourite girl (Merida) but lost interest somewhere along the way due to how chore and cashgrabby it felt. Charging for update DLC doesn’t feel right for something that should be a full game anyway.
I picked up DDV with A Rift in Time a few weeks ago since there was a sale on the Golden Edition. So far I put around 50 hours and enjoying it. However, I have been playing a few hours here and there because I learned from other games to just enjoy it at my own pace and don't grind it out because that is a good way for burn out. i will pick up the DLC at some point but I am not in a rush. Lastly, I personally don't care about DreamSnaps nor going for moonstones.
I recently picked up up the game too. Taking it slow is how I'm handling it too. I did get the star pass which was a mistake right before a week long vacation where I'm not playing the game lol. but I like the punk theme and something tells me it's a rare aesthetic for the game so I wanted to hop on it while I could.
Fleurs I’ve always loved your content and I definitely respect your decision however I do gotta say - you of all people would absolutely love this update as is full of fairy core and cottagecore items - selfishly I would love to see you pick it up and see all the decorating you can do with it ❤🥰😍
I agree with you I'm not playing as much as I used to I did all the quests, unlocked all the new characters I'm still on the fence about buying the DLC probably won't buy it bc as you said it's cash grabby and I just fell out of love with the game
I do agree on not being excited about the islands. I was really hoping they would just add a bridge or something to connect more space to the actual valley from each area. I don't like the idea of having to speed travel to get to more space.
Well the whole reason is to be able to decorate more and just like with Palia there is an item limit because the game can only handle so much. They are are doing the items separately so that they can have their own item limits.
I honestly wish they could have handled it like that but I can also see why they didn't add it as the same reason for why there is an item limit. With the cross platform functions I think they just can't add more space in the same area without making platforms other than pc crash 😅
@@Fleurs_ i think people need to start going in discord and start letting me tho how they feel and what they want to see then whats the devs should be doing. They should have free updates as well. We arent made of money. They need to see that
the only thing i dislike about DDV as a whole is taking pictures. i've always hated the concept of 'selfies', so the default camera mode is taking a selfie irks me so much.
I agree with everything you were saying in your video. I do not think you were negative. You were being practical and logical. To be honest, I am not even done yet with 'Rift in Time'. I really did not like having to grind for the new currency. It was quite annoying having to grind in order to unlock new areas. Also, story wise in 'Rift in Time', I am only about half way through, and have to figure out still how to get to Jafar the second time. I cannot imagine having to once again go through grind new currency a third time, and unlocking an whole new set of areas. I totally agree with the storage issue. Creating new chests are expensive in terms of dreamlight, which means I have to grind more dreamlight as well. As you pointed out, there will be an whole new set of items, which will need to be put in more storage chests. I totally agree about not liking having to travel to a new area. I did not like having to travel back and forth between Dreamlight Valley and Rift in Time. I also did not like how you cannot access your storage from your valley in Rift in Time. Thus, if your inventory became full, or you needed a specific item, you have to go back to the valley in order to unload your inventory and/or get whatever specific item you needed. Furthermore, I also agree that a $30/$40 price tag is a bit much. I do not have a lot of money to spend. Seeing as Dreamlight Valley seems to have multiple areas still planed out, the question arises: Are we going to have to pay $30/$40 per expansion? That is way too much. I mean another question arises here as well: Are they going to unlock the doors in the castle that are not yet open, yet clearly there? Are they finally going to unlock the skull that is hinted at as something being in there? Thus far, I have already paid for the base game, and 'Rift in Time' [around $60], and I have paid for a few packs of moonstones. Let's just say I have paid approximately $110 [give or take] all together. I cannot fathom paying anymore after already pretty much paying for two games already for one game. All in all, thank you for your video. Once again, I do not think you were negative. I think you were practical and looking at the situation objectively. =) P.S. I forgot to mention the issue of the game crashing a lot [ i play on Switch], and also the glitches you mentioned...
I've had similar feelings - have played many hours and got a lot of enjoyment from DDV. But stopped playing shortly after A Rift in Time as realised the repetitive gameplay was feeling more of a chore than fun. The star path grind in particular had got very tedious and while the reward items were very appealing, as a Switch player it was frustrating knowing i could never fully decorate my valley with the item limit. The other thing I didn't like was that the dreamsnaps pits adults against children. I felt bad for my son who put a lot of effort into some of his then got little reward. (tried giving him hints but he wanted to do it himself). I don't regret buying it as for a long time I enjoyed it and have had value for money. I don't see myself playing it again though unless there were major changes to gameplay. But this has freed up time and money to play other games - really enjoyed ones like Moonstone Island this year and looking forward to upcoming games like Loco Motive.
i loved the game when it was buy one and done but when micro-transactions came, it felt that some of the magic was now locked behind a pay wall. I support the DLCs and i do need to spend more time in the game as I got the first dlc and have spent no time in it as im so far behind the main quests. I too bought the ultimate edition and thought that was the end all be all. I refuse to buy anything from the moonstone store. As far as the dream snaps, I still dont understand what all that is about. So I'm basically on the fence for the new DLC coming. I love the Brave movie however i'm so far behind. I may as well wait till the dlc is on sale. I dont hate the game but i am disappointed that its not living up to its potential. Its just got to fight for my attention with such power houses like world of warcraft and danmachi's danchro.
I agree with what you are saying about if you don't love it don't buy it. Even though Palia is FTP that is how I feel about it, same old same old nothing new so I don't play it anymore and the FOMO to spend stupid amounts of money in Palia was just too much for me. I will be playing DDLV new expansion because MERIDA :) Thank you for your honesty about why you wont be buying the expansion.
Fleurs - this couldn’t have come at a better time!! I haven’t actively played DLV for a while - I have pushed myself to finish the latest star path but it bores me to TEARS. I love the grind in Palia but not so much here! I am soooo with you and the cost of the DLC has put me off. Plus the premium store is becoming more and more premium AFTER I had to pay for the game! Meh - totally with you!
Understandable, being tired of a game you like is always saddening, especially after investing so much time and money in it. This is why I play DDV only because I can spend time with the Characters™ from my childhood, while skipping all these grinding/storage problems with cheats. 😅 The appeal of being friends with all these familiar guys is something I can't see in any other game, so I can't let some boring gameplay issues ruin it. I just hope I won't get tired so much that I would drop the game too. 🍻
I think Palia has more bugs than DDLV and has more repetitive chores than DDL. There is really nothing for us to do other than collecting plushies. But its just just my honest opinion. Both are cash grabbing game if you want them to be.
I fell out of love a longggg time ago. The limited item placement really was disheartening. I don't expect to be able to put thousands and thousands of items, but the tiny amount we could place restricted me so much that I could really only have one area decorated at a time. Also, the amount of money they expect is getting absurd. When this game first came out I loved it so much, I loved it more than ACNH for a short time! It had more accessibility for building, more detailed and beautiful items. But the more I played, the less I enjoyed it, no matter how much I wanted to still love it.
It seems odd they wouldn't fix the storage issue. Why not make it like acnh and have one massive storage for the house that can be accessed through all chest or furniture. It's as if the designers don't even play the game? Stylistically, it's not ideal to have one room full of chests. It's Disney, not sure why they're skimping on these features when they have so much potential. Even being able to expand the land, and place items anywhere shouldn't be hard to execute right?
It was a change having all these chests instead of expandable storage but I honestly love looking up builds for storage rooms and it became one of my favorite things to do in the game
@gloomdoom right I can see that, but it seems like it was born out of necessity and still not worth keeping. It would improve the quality of gameplay not to waste time going through every chest to get items or sort them. There's a lot of efficency issues with designing the island and regular gameplay that could be improved for everyone. Also, being able to decorate the hoses purely for aesthetic pleasure, and having dreams snaps around that would be worth fixing the storage. You wouldn't lose the decorating pleasure and would have more time to enjoy the game in the end
@akemiree5080 I think all games need a way to timesink their players. Storage in acnh is great but TERRAFORMING. That alone has stopped me from playing cause Everytime I flatten an island I loose interest in spending three days to get a river to bend right.
I haven't played it in months. I stopped playing when they implied "the pay for the character to be an open bit." However, I have kept up with the updates and later decided that it's not worth playing anymore-there is too much rebuilding to fit in and constant bug issues.
When I started playing, yours were some of my first design inspirations. Sad to see you go, but honestly, I get it. I nearly quit a few months ago for most of the same reasons, especially the repetition and basic bugs that are still unfixed from 2 years ago. Now, I just design biomes, and that remains enjoyable; but if it gets boring again, the game won't interest me any longer.
@@Fleurs_ It's funny... I have been on a total design kick for the last month. Redesigned the entire valley for xmas. I actually have been, um, excited again. Not sure if it's a last hurrah or renewed passion... I think the DLC will determine my fate. We have three DDV players in our home, so skipping it is not an option... Lol. I am getting the DLC, whether I like it or not.
I like a lot of your points I have only been playing 10 months. I’m not tired of the game yet but it is evident to me that I don’t play nearly as much as others and content creators. I also have a variety of games I play so it’s nice to come to DDLV and know what to expect. I am looking forward to the update and DLC although the characters aren’t my favorite I would like to see the new critters and biomes. The removing night thorn (or similar action) task does get old. I plan on having my ancient vacuums ready to go. I agree that the puzzles were a low bar mini game with no replay ability as I am a fan of scramble coin. I can definitely see how it can seem repetitive if you have 100’s or even 1,000’s hour of game play. I’m not sure what game wouldn’t seem repetitive after that amount of time 😂
I think your opinions are totally valid. I will admit I am still likely going to get this particular dlc but I am still debating over which version because of cost and whether I really want to spend that much money for a house skin because that is the only thing in the enhanced version that appeals to me and I feel like I already have a bunch of house skins I don’t use, but I have been using a autumn theme in my Meadows for a long time so the house is very tempting. That said I personally didn’t care much for Rift in Time and if it weren’t for Gaston and Jafar I probably wouldn’t have gotten it. I love Hades and Maleficent however and the sound of the biomes but I don’t necessarily see myself getting any future dlcs because now I have all my favorite villains.
Thank you so much for this video, you've really helped me...I still think I'm gonna buy this DLC but just like the one last year, I'm gonna wait for a discount. It's too much money and I almost went for it only for the baby Pegasus...But it's not really worth it. There are too much bugs and I'm tired of it so I'm gonna wait. Have a great day !
One of the main reasons I continue to play/look forward to things is due to the fact that I use the Arcade version. Because it actually feels like a game. Sure, there’s no Star Path, moonstones, or premium shop…. But that’s exactly why I can enjoy it. I don’t have to worry about missing out on limited items, or feel pressured to buy things. There’s no FOMO when there isn’t anything that can trigger it.
I agree a lot with your points, with the dev team even confirming how much content may be in StoryBook Vale, it can be overwhelming for a lot of people looking to relax while gaming. I personally will be buying StoryBook Vale, and have been spending a long while to reorganize and redecorate new storage rooms for my valley and dlc items. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that we're able to use the ancient machines from Rift in Time to help a bit with the new dlc ink blots. Also, a bit off topic from the dlc itself, but hearing that some players have not receiving their moonstones when they participated in dreamsnaps hurts even more when support has turned away from helping a player with an obvious bug issue. I saw another video by a channel named Rock's Playground a few days ago, where his own mother who loves the game had the same bug. Even after sharing video proof, support did nothing, as from their end, his mother hadn't done her dreamsnap. He even showed a clip of the submission photo being there to support along with the original claim, and in the video itself. I hope the devs work on that bug asap, as it can really ruin anyone's experience when playing the beloved game and they encounter an issue like this. 💕
Thank you for sharing this! I do want to get it but also fight the "here we go again" that happens each update. I'm not going to bother defending the game any more. Sadly it has sucked me dry. I used to love it. Additionally I cannot justify spending NZ$85 for just an expansion. $85 in my currency is like $85 in American currency - I don't earn more just because of exchange rates!
Your opinion is valid, and understandable, Gameloft did this to their own player base by producing the content they have thus far and I get why you wouldn't want to participate further. However after playing the new DLC for a few hours today I have to say you may have chosen the wrong DLC to take this stance on. This new update is incredible and I hope at some point you may change your mind and cover the content included. They really outdid themselves compared to Eternity Isle and I would hate for you to miss out on everything that's been added. Wishing you the best, it's just I waited till I actually played the DLC to make this comment. As a small small smallllll creator and a subscriber I think you would really enjoy the new additions!
I agree that this was the wrong DLC to take a stance. I find myself WAY more excited to play this one than I did The Isle. I haven't finished the Isle yet honestly not sure I will unless there is something I need in it. I already do not want to stop playing the Vale. They did GREAT this time around. I really hope you come around but I understand why you feel the way you do.
I'm so looking forward to the DLC! I didn't buy the first one as there wasn't much for me personally so I get that that's a viable reason for you to not buy the second dlc. But this one looks really amazing to me, the new paper critter catching looks also waaay more fun than the time bending. Also, the biomes just look very appealing to me personally! The price is fine to me as I never spent actual money on the game until now (I own game pass and get my moonstones from the dreamsnaps, which I really enjoy) and considering that I spent almost 400 hours in this game I feel like it's worth it 😂 it's one of my comfort decorating games and I love the changes that are about to come decorating! Im counting down the days for its release tbh ♡ I hope that you can find joy in DDLV again after maybe some break time!
I kinda feel the same way but about Palia. I enjoy DDLV as far as the decor and designing. Overall the game can be buggy but hopefully the devs will continue to improve.
also confused about why people are so against spending money on ddv but will pay $50 for one outfit on Palia. I just don’t understand the difference simply bc Palia is a free game doesn’t make their outfit prices okay
@@BFTBGSFTST I’m clearly commenting bc I would love someone to explain why it’s okay for Palia to charge obscene amounts of money for outfits when you cannot earn the currency in the game but it’s not okay for ddv to have a premium shop even though you can earn thousands of free moonstones a week lmao
The thing that’s been clearest to me is the only time they update the game is during their scheduled releases. They make us wait for any possible bug fixes when they don’t have to, then still don’t address them during scheduled releases and usually introduce new ones each update. I’ve had a lot the same game breaking bugs and glitches since day 1 (the stuck menus kill me) which tells me 2 things about this game. A) The glitches and issues aren’t able to be patched out without essentially rebuilding the game from scratch (a defective product) or B) they can be but Disney isn’t prioritizing it (cash grab). Probably a bit of both.
This game is tooo expensive…why because if you want the premium items you pay for moonstones through the nose. Yes do the snaps and maybe get 4000 which is not enough
Haha wow…it’s a good thing you never had to start gaming with Atari Adventure…I guess we Gen Xers have low expectations because that game was fantastic and Dreamlight Valley is unreal!
The good news is after a break you can always change your mind, the DLC is optional & as for bugs, the last update fixed a ton of issues for me. I hope you do eventually get back into it just because I loved your builds, but I totally get it. I had to take a break as well. I think it’s healthy to take a break from games. I personally love this game even over Palia, but everyone is entitled to their opinions!!
We also need to be able to stop rain/snow yesterday. I'm sick of spending hours on an outdoor DreamSnap, and then have to wait til it stops raining before I can send it, which is often +1 hour.
So ive just subscribed 😂 I LOVE the honesty, alot of DDV content creators do sometimes skip around and sugar coat for Gameloft but this is so honest and true! I was more excited about the new items but they are realins and it is becoming cash grabby. While that's the reason I stopped playing Palia, I do still play DDV just not as often. I check my shop and decorate a bit to chill and that's about it. I do wish they made the quests more interactive, I feel like all of us feel that way honestly. While its not as cash grabby as other games *cough cough* Sims and Speedstorm, it is heading that route. I didnt like the Star Path so ive got 50 days to do nothing lol so ill buy the dlc but I'm more looking forward to newer games stepping up like my time at evershine and life by you. These companies need competition for sure. Great video ❤❤
Me neither right off. The last one was not worth 30 dollars. Ill wait and see. It was a weird layout of empty space with not enough new stuff to do. Me and my daughter and nieces and nephews are gonna wait and see. Thats fair really. My opinion anyway. Get some reviews and watch others play first is what im doing.
Totally get your feelings on this. I'm gonna get the DLC, but not on day 1 since I'm still catching up on Eternity Isle. I purposely haven't decorated my valley because I care about Dreamsnaps and I also haven't gotten around to figuring out how I wanna decorate my valley.
Its sad you feel this way i love decorating alot in DDLV if you worry to much about moonstones it will suck the fun out of the game in my opinion fun is the main thing in my opinion moonstones are a bonus. you can completely ignore the premium shop and just save there moonstones for the star path i know it might not easy to for some to ignore the shop but you can do well still i have seen ppl experiment. decorating and taking photos are some things i enjoy so no bias here at all i also have 3000hrs plus in this game. i know no one can force you to enjpy or to even play i am looking forward to the DLC and the floating islands no game is perfect but this game is alot a fun there is someone i know that plays DDLV but complains about things but still plays cause its Disney and they love disney they still will get the DLC also.
It can be quiet boring and monotonous after some time especially when you've finished the main story. Personally, I love Disney Dreamlight Valley and will buy the Magical Edition. I am glad we can earn some moonstones to buy things from their premium shop. For example, I stopped playing Palia for the exact same reason you stated in this video. Their skins are too expensive for me and the grind is just so exhausting to me. I understand your opinion and just because you won't buy the new DLC doesn't mean I will stop watching your amazing videos! Keep going and who knows maybe you'll get back into DDV again someday. 🌸
Agree about the mechanic of cleaning stuff up and the questlines being really boring. Paying for the same mechanics that are in the base game and already worn out and for more of the same basic quests isn't too appealing
I am going to be buying it... but I totally agree with sooo much of what you've said! I do love this game but I also get sooo frustrated with it! And the same as you I feel like I'm forcing myself to play the game that's just become a chore, when other games that are much cheaper and aren't a big cash grab keep drawing me to them and DON'T feel like such a pain to play! Rather I get addicted and can't put them down and they have amazing storylines and features. I feel like the fans of this game get very defensive though when we give any real or valid criticism, when we ourselves have also loved and enjoyed this game.. I also hate that they asked us all our favourite characters in the surveys, Rapunzel and Flynn definitely being one of the main ones and then charging us twice over if those are the characters we want!
I would like to do more with the characters after we level them up, besides using them as tools for resources. Have them add new character lines and idle animations. It would make their existence more refreshing.
With the dreamsnap results you sometimes may have to refresh which is more work so it’s definitely a glitch. If you don’t want to buy the dlc that’s valid but if you do that’s also valid. On the side of questing I do feel like they’ve gotten fetch questy. I hope they make the quests in the dlc more engaging.
I feel very similar Emma. I picked the game up again after several months, wanting to check out new content. But I put it down again after about 20 minutes, as it just felt very repetitive. I have sunk over 300 hours into this game, I did love it. And I hope I can become hooked on it again one day. But I won't be jumping into getting the new DLC as there is a strong chance I won't be hooked again.
Also for the dreamsnap rewards every week i have to login-save the game-return to title screen-login again to see my snap results and its SO FRUSTRATING
@Fleurs_ did you connect to the internet too? I find I have to do that as well after returning to the title screen. And if you're talking about an older snap, I think they're also time limited on claiming the reward WHICH IS JUST SO GROSS IMO
I keep playing when games add new quests and I see that DDV does add new quests every once in a while that you can do. With Palia I have been waiting for half a year for new quests and they instead keep adding decorations and stuff and i’m just not about that life.
You're video spoke to me on so many levels. But I feel like I've already put so much money into the game that I'd lose out if I just stopped playing :/
Agreed. I feel like I can't stop playing now because of all the money I've spent on this game. Otherwise it's just a huge waste of my money and time too.
The game has gone to playing the game to just logging in to do my Dreamsnap to get moonstone and also logging in to do the Star Path. My game is WAY too buggy with the disappearing glitch AND the stuttering glitch is back to do anything else. I’m excited for the new content but also passing it up for not as I’d rather save for a SteamDeck this holiday season. Maybe next yr I will pick it up but not right away.
Will skip it as well. Didn’t finish most of the quests from the old areas nor ranked up most of my villagers. Feels so repetitive. Money is better spend somewhere else for me lol.
I’m Sooooo Happy Someone Is Being Real About The Games Issues. There’s Such A Huge Bias That Comes w| People Supporting This Game (Myself Included) … However, I’m Honest w| Myself && Completely Agree That This Game Is Still Till This Very Day A Broken Mess. There’s So Many Issues I Still Encounter That Have Been Issues Since Early Access. The Game Is Literally Called “DISNEY” Dreamlight Valley. DISNEY Being A Multi Billion Dollar Franchise. There’s Literally No Excuse As To Why After All This Time, This Game Is Still Having These Issues. Then To Sit Back && Just Collect Consumers Money Thru Micro Transactions But Yet The Game Still Runs The Way It Does … Make It Make Sense. I Also Agree That These Copy/Paste “Ideas” Are Just Overly Saturated At This Point. I Could Go On && On && Even Though I Do Loveeeeee This Game, I’m Not Blinded By The Current State It’s In. So Tysm For Being So Open && Honest About A Topic That’s Sensitive For People To Actually Speak Up On 💖💖💖 P.S. I Know Gameloft Made The Game But If You Have A Brand Like Disney Backing This Game, There Shouldn’t Be This Many Issues.
I have been playing since early access on PC (not proud to say I am about to hit 900 hours of playtime XD) and I still find it incredibly relaxing and charming. I have never paid for moonstones and I am swimming in them all the time because I only buy items that I like and that I know I'm going to use, I am not a completionist by any means. Got the DLC today and I'm already coming up with ideas on what to do with the new biomes, I especially love Mythopia. This said, I CAN'T IMAGINE playing this game on Switch. I have no idea how you guys do it, and I don't blame you one bit for not wanting to play more of it. I have seen how poorly it runs and how buggy it is on that platform, holy smokes! On pc, I never experienced game breaking bugs and when I had issues with touch of magic (it would freeze my game all the time) and opened a ticket about it, the developers were super helpful and directly contacted me to try and fix the issue. At the end of the process, the person I had been corresponding with thanked me for all the screenshots and feedback I provided and told me it helped them fix the issue for everyone, even if it was only a handful of people who reported the same issue. It wasn't a widespread bug by any means but they took the time to look into it.
i got the craving to play dlv again and honestly i haven’t done anything. it took an hour just to update as i haven’t played in over a year, and i’m so overwhelmed with everything new. i don’t want to fall into a slump again because i’ve missed so much content but it’s so laggy and i just can’t with it tbh 😅😅 i’m gonna play more tomorrow because the storybook vale expansion looks so good but can i justify the £25… not really 😂😂
im trying to convince myself that i will be happy with the winged horses you get as companions and i dont need baby pegasus but im not able to - i think im getting the magical edition.
Agree with everything you're saying. Used to love decorating, that glitch was the beginning of the end of my enjoyment. The last four months have been a struggle for me to log in and this current Star Path may be the first Star Path I don't finish. Likely not buying this DLC either.
I have so many bugs that I had to put it down. Gameloft takes their time answering anything so why bother....love the game but have never played without a glitch
Totally hear you on all your points and agree with most of them. I do however feel like they are trying to mix up the gameplay loop a bit with the new puzzles and quest types (apparently). We'll see if it actually helps combat that samey grind feeling,.but i am hopeful. As long as they keep the bugs under wraps.
I couldn't agree more. I spent so many hours in DDLV, but the game just feels childish. Things feel like chore, repetitive quests and star paths. I was excited about first DLC, only to find out, it's a separate Island, not addition to the main one, which really put me off. As I don't enjoy having to teleport between them just to play content and decorate. So the fact, that everything will be scattered on different Island, is such a put off for me. Free building is something I have been saying from beginning as it is so restricting and most of the times, the placement of items is assymetric and it annoys me. For a Disney game, I would have definitely expect way more. I always go into the game and kinda get bored and turn it off after 5 mins, so no I hardly ever revisit.
I also stopped playing for several months. Never finished Eternity Isle. Still several characters I haven't unlocked. It started feeling like repetitive chores to me, too. However, I do feel that the several months break from the game, and the new DLC, might be enough for me to feel ready to get back into it.
Ive been burnt out on this game as well. I still do dreamsnaps but thats ALL i do nowadays. Ill still buy the dlc but only bc of the Pegasus companion, and it makes me upset that they're charging more than the base game for it. I wish i could just not have the NEED to have the exclusive items
The only thing I paid for is the additional dlc only if I want the characters, not moonstones 😮 if I cant upgrade the star path then I just do normal one. But I’m with you on repetition. What about all the doors in the castle? They should have unlocked them before the dlc
I've only been playing about 7 months so it's still pretty new to me and i love it. I'm looking forward to the expansion. I do feel inadequate on Dreamsnaps though.
Oh about the moonstones I have been banned for a year from purchasing anything because I bought a lot of moonstones and never received them and when I contacted them they wanted copies of the purchases so I sent them copies of paypal and epic transactions, all I wanted was my moonstones but they refused to send me any moonstones or refund my money, but paypal refunded my money so I was banned for a years I've got 10 more months to go, I really enjoy the game as I'm a senior citizen and retired so I pass my time playing the game but I play a lot less now since I can't make any purchase.
You have some valid points especially about the quests. I have so many quests open. I am just not into the game anymore and I am a huge Disney fan. I feel you on the star paths, to me it is a boring thing to do now. It is so repetitive, but I will still get the new DLC just for the fear out of missing out. LOL
I feel the absolute same way. Burned out trying to get credits built up and when things in shop you'd really like them drop real cash constantly. And unfortunately as much as I love the game and was hoping for many of my cherished childhood favorites. I've lost interest, so much added so quickly I just can not keep up. Scrooges shop is same thing every single day w. Maybe 6 items a wk being new. If I was lucky, I signed on the other day for the first time in 4mo.s and every item was old but 2. I mean my Ariel still doesn't have legs. And I played for the entirety of the game since release date until past 4mo or so.
I'm really sick of being a slave to Dreamsnaps. Like you, I feel like I have to spend hours on it to make sure I get those 4k moonstones as they are always coming out with the cute houses and things in the Premium Shop.. and if I didn't do it I would be spending a fortune. Gameloft is a mobile company and the first mistake they made was starting this game on an old mobile game platform. The original game was go fetch from the early 2000's. They really just added Disney things to it and put it out. The game is grindy and repetitive just to be able to get those cute new items but like you I had gotten fed up with not having enough area and then also having to tear up my completely decorated game each week for yet another Dreamsnap. I was going to quit at the end of this year but I figured I would give them another chance since they are adding the islands (and I'm hoping I can at least dedicate a couple of those to Dreamsnaps.) I don't blame you at all for your opinion. My heart is with Palia for now. And once Inzoi comes out in March I will be all over that. (I'm on PC.)
How are you gonna get “fresh gameplay” out of an old game that’s just being ported??? There’s nothing new or fresh about my sims unless you haven’t played it before.
I’ve been playing for 2 weeks and I agree about the repetition. Theres so much back and forth that feels so monotonous. I feel like they purposefully make you go back and forth between tasks to make it feel more substantial but it’s just boring. It also messes with my adhd lol
I actually agree with a majority of these take especially the bugs and glitches they did fix the major ones like softlocks though but there is still some annoying bugs ill still buy it cuz i love the game
This video was so hard for me to get through, not negative towards you of course, but in the sense that i also dont have the same amount of passion for the game that i used too. That being said, i feel like it was pretty critical.. we all know farming sims/life sims can get repetitive regardless of the game itself. I was totally excited for tomorrow, but geez this video has me bummed now. Its like that thought in the back of my head reminding me its not the same as it used to be was amplified. I respect your opinion, and i hope that once it drops you might be able to find some joy in it again
I just started playing this game a few weeks ago, and while it's a calming time waster, I definitely don't see the longevity in the grind that would justify buying this DLC. The storage system is awful, and the thought of having chests "everywhere" just to accommodate that isn't appealing.
Hi Emma ! I'm really glad you've made this video. I know it can be hard to express some of our negative feelings when everyone else seems hyped for something. I'm on the fence about buying this DLC and honestly still don't know if I will. I play since day 1 of early access, started on Switch with all the issues, paid the game again on PC and was lucky to get Rift in Time as a gift. I'm sad when I think about this game now. It's so much money spent, with hopes of bug fixes and real quality of life updates, and in my opinion, a lot of things are not right for a full released game. The decorating system is still broken to me, nothing can align correctly or be symetrical ! How is that even possible! Some of the furniture in the same collection don't even align (Little Mermaid bathroom items, or some of the new Ratatouille ones that were supposed to match the old ones don't have the same proportions). And each updates I have hopes, and try to stay positive... but the reality is a lot of player are just happy with the half baked game we have now and are thrilled when the update announce something that was supposed to be a feature from the start. I know I sound bitter... I'm sorry about it, but it's been 2 years of deception. I want to have hopes, but 50 € for the new DLC with the bonus items is not a good deal for me ! 50€ is how much I could pay for a physical copy of Zelda TOTK, which is a real finished game ! And the costume gift for early buyer is not even that appealing this year (at least we got a cool monkey last year). I don't think I'll buy it now, and if I do, I'll wait for a sale. For now, I'm more excited about Palia, waiting for the Elderwoods, decorating without all the restrictions, and playing with friends! That's what spark joy to me ! The game is free, but I got more joy buying 50€ of coins last week, getting a new outfit while supporting the game than playing the last starpath in DDV. That speaks volume to me ! Anyway, I'll be looking forward to your next videos, no matter the game and keep enjoying all your Palia content ! :)
I am sorry you've been disappointed Alice. I definitely agree about the decorating. It is hard to stay positive, so I feel that! I am glad you're excited to play palia.
I was looking for a non-grindy single-player game. I wanted to not have my time wasted and just enjoy a game without a grind - and I definitely got it wrong with DDV :') I understand that you’re tired of it, and I also feel how tempting the expensive special items can be. Even though I’m usually very good at resisting, I found it hard to hold back from buying things. Still, the game offers great content for the price, especially compared to games like The Sims 4, and it’s quite addictive and well-made.
I will say that while I don't put ungodly amount of hours into DDV like I used to I still put some in, doing my dailies, leveling up villagers, doing their quests. That said I will not be buying the new DLC ( yet ) solely because I am trying to focus on maxing out the characters I have now before thinking about getting into the dlc
thank you to those of you who have been respectful and shared your feelings! 🤍🤍
How is Palia on switch? I have no gaming PC and I heard Steamdeck varies.. as the battery can be drained within an hour or two.. Im so tornnnn
@@LeannSlowlyPalia is pretty bad on Switch. The graphic quality alone keeps me from playing it on there.
I love Palia!!!
DLC is a whole massive expansion so of course they are gonna charge for it.
@@JunDageki Don't care. I don't think a game gets to have all three. At the very least, it should have been f2p.
@@BladeRedwind it’s okay if you don’t care, just pointing out you are not making any sense regarding expansions.
@JunDageki To you I don't. But I absolutely do to me and others who feel the same. It's ok.
Lol
Same here it's been smooth for me as well.
@@cozy.melon.gaming When did they make that change??? That's so frustrating!!
I totally agree
"You're gonna miss out!" we aren't because we aren't stupid. We don't give corporates all our money and lick their boots like some of you
I remember the excitement I got when I first found out about dreamlight valley and started playing it!
Everyone saying "if you don't like it, don't buy it" when that's LITERALLY your title 😂
Whhhattt??!? Im moar excited for this DLC than the last one definitely gunna be picking up the magical edition:)
I am very excited for the game's dlc, but I can understand people wanting to pass on it. There are some games that dont speak and thats okay! for me thats sadly majority of new cozy games right now. I wish I could like them but I just dont lol
The DLC imo is waaaaaay better than the rift in times delivery and the content planned with it.
I am sure you create beautiful things in the new world!
@@Fleurs_ thank you so much emma!!
idk i feel like a whole dlc for the price of a palia skin is good
Not sure it's that good of a deal !

In my opinion no matter what ddlv does or doesn't do people are just never satisfied with anything and they expect everything to be free .
I don't expect it to be free at all and if we all just sit back and think everything is hunky dorey when there are issues nothing will ever change. Providing constructive and fair criticism should not be shunned.
This goes for most games. Also, it's less about expecting everything to be free, more about expecting to get your money's worth.
@ didn’t say they made it I said it’s Disney’s branded.
Gameloft could not legally make this game unless Disney gave them permission.
That’s a good idea! Definitely taking it slow helps.
Fleurs I’ve always loved your content and I definitely respect your decision however I do gotta say - you of all people would absolutely love this update as is full of fairy core and cottagecore items - selfishly I would love to see you pick it up and see all the decorating you can do with it ❤🥰😍
Quests are different too!! 🎉🎉🎉
Yeh! that would be so much better!!
They need to see that
@@cozy.melon.gaming on the switch there is a limit. You can only have 1000 decorations then on laptop you can have 3000. They need to change it.
the only thing i dislike about DDV as a whole is taking pictures. i've always hated the concept of 'selfies', so the default camera mode is taking a selfie irks me so much.
I just don't like how it feels like your world has to revolve around DDLV in order to not miss out. It's stressful
i loved the game when it was buy one and done but when micro-transactions came, it felt that some of the magic was now locked behind a pay wall.
Merida is so cute!!
That's why I stopped playing Palia too, there just isn't enough to do.
I agree about the bugs in palia!
Yes my Palia game kept crashing A LOT. Disappointing
I also got so tired of cleaning, dreamsnaps, and the repetitive gameplay loop. I can't convince myself to play anymore.
This^^ I fully agree
This would be a gamechanger!!!
Now, I just design biomes, and that remains enjoyable; but if it gets boring again, the game won't interest me any longer.
aw thank you this message! I hope you can still enjoy it!
$50 for a half ready DLC is diabolical 😅
I also feel super bored with the game
Jeez! I wish they would convert it to your regional currency. 🥲
Love this game. Sometime I don’t feel like playing it but most of the time I do. I look forward to it on my weekends off. Def getting the expansion ❤️
It's honestly a shame this game has gone considerably downhill since release, gradually began to feel like more and more of a shameless cash grab..
I kinda feel the same way but about Palia. I enjoy DDLV as far as the decor and designing. Overall the game can be buggy but hopefully the devs will continue to improve.
I’m on switch and the game isn’t broken so I don’t understand why people on pc consider the game to be so broken tbh. It must work 100x better on pc
also confused about why people are so against spending money on ddv but will pay $50 for one outfit on Palia. I just don’t understand the difference simply bc Palia is a free game doesn’t make their outfit prices okay
You sure don't understand a lot. Stating your ignorance rather than learning is sad.
@@BFTBGSFTST I haven’t bought moonstones in a year and I have every item from the shop I want to have. You can’t say that with Palia 🤷♀️
I don't think it's totally broken, there are bugs yes but it is 100% playable.
Sorry you are not liking the game anymore. Some games are not for everyone. I love grinding for all the things, so it’s right up my alley.
Good save your money. 80% of my cutscenes on steam deck were black or colorblock and I feel like I wasted my money because of glitches.
I think the reason they have the floating islands is to make it better for switch players ,as they each have their own item limit,
Haha wow…it’s a good thing you never had to start gaming with Atari Adventure…I guess we Gen Xers have low expectations because that game was fantastic and Dreamlight Valley is unreal!
So true Messa! I am glad you're still loving it 😊
We also need to be able to stop rain/snow yesterday.
Great video ❤❤
thank you SO much for this!!
Its sad you feel this way i love decorating alot in DDLV if you worry to much about moonstones it will suck the fun out of the game in my opinion fun is the main thing in my opinion moonstones are a bonus.
you can completely ignore the premium shop and just save there moonstones for the star path i know it might not easy to for some to ignore the shop but you can do well still i have seen ppl experiment.
decorating and taking photos are some things i enjoy so no bias here at all i also have 3000hrs plus in this game.
i know no one can force you to enjpy or to even play i am looking forward to the DLC and the floating islands
no game is perfect but this game is alot a fun there is someone i know that plays DDLV but complains about things but still plays cause its Disney and they love disney they still will get the DLC also.
Thank you so much for this! I really appreciate that we can have different opinions and still be respectful!
I agree so much!!
I tried logging in and out sadly.
I tried logging in and out, still nothing!!
@Fleurs_ did you connect to the internet too? I find I have to do that as well after returning to the title screen. And if you're talking about an older snap, I think they're also time limited on claiming the reward WHICH IS JUST SO GROSS IMO
Have you tried checking your mailbox anyway? Sometimes, I dont have a mail notification, but I go into it anyway, and my rewards are there
@ yeh! Went through every tab 😭
@@Fleurs_ devastation! I'm so sorry 😭
I keep playing when games add new quests and I see that DDV does add new quests every once in a while that you can do. With Palia I have been waiting for half a year for new quests and they instead keep adding decorations and stuff and i’m just not about that life.
Keeps getting rumored more stuff will come and then it's just plushies. Idk what Palia is doing rn.
You're video spoke to me on so many levels. But I feel like I've already put so much money into the game that I'd lose out if I just stopped playing :/
Agreed. I feel like I can't stop playing now because of all the money I've spent on this game. Otherwise it's just a huge waste of my money and time too.
that’s the sunk cost fallacy
The new DLC looks really good but based on all the issues that we've dealt with, I'll just get it later or ask someone to get it for me for christmas.
A steam deck is totally worth the wait on this game! I love my deck SO MUCH. I use it constantly.
The new DLC is actually amazing! I am shocked by it, but I respect your opinions.
So Tysm For Being So Open && Honest About A Topic That’s Sensitive For People To Actually Speak Up On 💖💖💖
Put the storage area outside. I don’t like the loading screens going inside either
I feel the same ❤
I couldn't agree more.
Same
Oh about the moonstones I have been banned for a year from purchasing anything because I bought a lot of moonstones and never received them and when I contacted them they wanted copies of the purchases so I sent them copies of paypal and epic transactions, all I wanted was my moonstones but they refused to send me any moonstones or refund my money, but paypal refunded my money so I was banned for a years I've got 10 more months to go, I really enjoy the game as I'm a senior citizen and retired so I pass my time playing the game but I play a lot less now since I can't make any purchase.
You have some valid points especially about the quests. I have so many quests open. I am just not into the game anymore and I am a huge Disney fan. I feel you on the star paths, to me it is a boring thing to do now. It is so repetitive, but I will still get the new DLC just for the fear out of missing out. LOL
Girl it’s totally worth it. I’ve had a ball playing all day
Glad you're enjoying it!
Yup! I never played the original.
I’m just laughing at you saying it’s repetitive when my ocd has me replaying from the beginning like 6 times because I felt like I messed up my flow 😂
