- After 14 weeks of intense training, the Infantry Soldiers on Sand Hill have one more important task to accomplish: Graduation.
Kenia Mills takes us to this special ceremony that officially welcomes the Army's newest Soldiers and their families.
Great series. Im 16 and contemplating joining the Army because I love this country and my dad was an Army Ranger. This just puts it into more perspective. Very helpful

Great Job filming these series! Brings many great memories when I was in Fort Benning back in Sep. 1978 for my 11B AIT after having a great CBT at Fort Jackson, SC. A lot have changed between 1978 and now... but 11B/INFANTRY still INFANTRY... HOOAH!
thank you so much for these series!! i am not an American, but will be moving there soon! deep inside of me i feel like an american and was sure already before seeing this i wanted to sign up and protect this great country and the proud people in it!!! after seeing the, i am sure i WILL join even more!! it would be an honor standing next of these proud men! Some recruiters call it the "Delayed Entry Program" while others call it the "Delayed Enlistment Program.

I am fully aware of the fact that once you sign the contract you are enlisted, but the program lets you delay your Basic Combat Training and Advanced Individual Training.
I am not the one who told half the Recruiters to say "Enlistment" and the other half to say "Entry".

i might be only 14 now but once im 17 im going to join the us army for 2 reasons my family is originally from Mexico and the united states gave my family opportunity to live and work here and because my dad was going to join but was not allowed because he had 3 children so i wanted to make him proud to serve for the us army to give my life for it

Same music as my Civil Air Patrol encampment graduation and my cousin’s marine graduation
There is a program I'm doing with my recruiter that when my senior year in HS starts this year I'll report to him twice a week, every week till I graduate so it will already have me at an E-3 even prior to going to basic. You guys should see if a recruiting station or nearby MEPS center offers similar programs.

@BucketOSyrup dude don't put your ship dates online, the enemy looks for info like that i'm a future soldier too, obviously you didn't go to the anti terrorist training they tell you NOT to put ship dates anywhere online

@Precersor Yeah I never understood the Army VS Marine thing... I mean both branches train for combat operations. I can kinda get Army & Marine VS the other branches though.

Hello im talking to a recruiter tomorrow, Im enlisting in the Army 2022
One day I would like to go back and revisit my old training unit. Eco. 1/50th. Great times I had there. I wouldnt trade it for anything else.
same here that will also help because after 3-4years of JROTC when u join u get 2 ranks so basically from Pvt. to Spc.

Its in the department of the navy, but it is still considered a branch.
@RelativistSlayer Marine is not a branch, it is a part of the navy.

Thanks for this series. I went through basic training in 1994. This series was a reminder of some of the stuff I endured during my training. It's nice to be able to share it with my children so they can see what it's like earning the title of soldier.
