People say "I love you" without meaning it all the time. What he says is far more meaningful and probably a lot closer to how he actually feels because emotions like that can't be put into words (which is the point of this season).
oregairu one of the best romance anime of all time. sorry for words but ordinary watchers or no experience in romance has to rewatch it because it is so damn deep. i rewatch it everytime i feel so down and i never get bored.
Such a great anime. I am glad I watched it. But they kinda ruined it with the last OVA which was made for the game. They made Yui not give up when actually in the oregairu shin LN. Yukino and 8man were happy together and Yui gave up for the 2 of them.

Especially when it's with someone that can relate to you so well and can rely on you, as much as you rely on her. Simply beautiful scene.

@@carsonboardman7073 I have watched about 50-100 romance anime's and this comes in the top 10 for me not for the romance ofc not. But for the character development and how you can clearly see them growing in the anime. It is just written so beautifully. But yes the ending could have been better.
