Btw Spain is most famous for conquering Central and South America, where everyone except Brazil speaks Spanish. That's by far it's most lasting mark on world history.

As an American, I can say the only thing I knew about Spain before I moved to Germany and visited Spain for myself was that bullfighting was a thing. Now that I'm in Europe, I see that Spain is famous for a lot of things--it's just that the majority of those things are only well-known on THIS side of the ocean.

it's so sad to know about this tomato festival, i wish i hadn't. i've seen several times in my country poor people go to vegetable shop, and ask with shyness for 1 tomato and 1 cucumber and 1 potato, literally they cant afford 1 piece of veggies each. and others go ask for one loaf of bread, and bread in my country is really cheap, but there are people in the world are truly that poor and are very shy asking for it. these scenes from the festival just shattered my heart.

I think that Spain is mostly known for their colonial background since they conquered many countries, especially in south America, and therefore many people speaking there Spanisch. And if there isn't work in their country, they all know that the Spanisch economy is much stronger and there are probably therefore more jobs. I think it's a bit sad to see that there's sort of a friction between Spain and France according to Spanish people ... because as a French guy I don't feel that way at all ! 😂

I think that Spain is mostly known for their colonial background since they conquered many countries, especially in south America, and therefore many people speaking there Spanisch. And if there isn't work in their country, they all know that the Spanisch economy is much stronger and there are probably therefore more jobs.
In Spanisch i would write something like😂:
Creo que España es muy popular para su historia. España conquistaba varios países en América del Sur por lo que hay muchos gentes que hablan Español. Además, si no hay trabajo en su país de origen, muchas gentes saben que el economía está más fuertes en España por lo que quizás hay más puestos de trabajos que en su país de origen.
