A good introduction and refresher to the Db2 commands. A couple of points though: 1) you are using the instance owner account so people may not know how to set up their Db2 environment; 2) if there is more than one copy of Db2 installed, and there are different instances under each install, then you need to use db2ls first, followed by db2ilist from the appropriate path to show the instance under that install; 3) you use your own aliases/shortcuts, so it would be good to point these out. Otherwise, thank you for the presentation. I was able to learn a thing or two.
In this video, one of the subscriber pointed that I have stated 50003 as FIVE THOUSAND THREE and 50004 as FIVE THOUSAND FOUR. Apologies for this mistake. And thanks for pointing.
Do you want HADR on PureScale? If that is the case, its difficult to set with the Laptop that I have. I need 2 clusters for that. I struggle with One Cluster alone with Memory and CPU. This is 10 years old laptop.
It's mentioned in the video. You need to use export DB2INSTANCE= And then you can verify using db2 GET INSTANCE On windows you will use set command instead of export set DB2INSTANCE=
Excellent and Awesome info and explanation . Thanks for your great efforts and sharing with us 😍🤩🥰🙏🙏🙏🙌👍👏👏

Where should we run these commands ? SSH to the ip and SU in the CLI ? vs use Spufi or QMF ?
This is DB2 on linux so no SPUFI or QMF. You ssh to the ip and su to the instance owner and run these commands
Thank you Thank you Thank you...

Thanks for this video. Can you upload the videos for DB2 HADR setup and Purescale features.

@@DB2_Oracle If that the case , if we create the 2 instance on the same server then is it for possible for HADR setup simulation?
What is difference between db2level and db2ls
db2level gives you the version/fixpack level of current instance/installation.
db2ls gives you list of all db2 installation.
@@DB2_Oracle TQ so much sir
How could I contact you sir
Thankyou
If I type db2start how db2 will know which instance need to start like db2p Or db2c
It's mentioned in the video.
You need to use
export DB2INSTANCE=
And then you can verify using
db2 GET INSTANCE
On windows you will use set command instead of export
set DB2INSTANCE=
