I live in Germany where nobody cares to learn or speak English, nor they care for American pronounciation of any word. Even the menu card is in native language not in English.Starbucks is a status symbol in India, in other countries its just another cafe. So next time if u go to any such place, feel free to talk in Hindi and if u dont understand what to order, just feel free to ask. The staff comes from very ordinary background not from Ambanis family. Be yourself dont get obsessed by western culture.

Yeah man....that makes so much sense....idk y people fail to understand this simple concept?
U know basic english....then go on to learn some worthwhile knowledge that could add value to your and other's life and not just fancy or complicate your conversations.

Hi girl, loved this video. I am from Seattle, the birth place of Starbucks!!! I have been living in USA for 18 years now. Here, it is okay to not know things. There is no beijjati of any kind. People accept you with your flaws. We should not judge people for anything… yet, I appreciate how you took your ignorance and turned into a positive video that would help many others… keep going 👌👌

Hi, I am a tea lover, settled abroad for the last 5 yrs and worked in big corporates. I rarely order coffee for myself but have been with friends many times to big coffee chains. I found this video very useful and interesting. I learned the percentage of coffee and milk in each variant. Now I can order confidently for family members by asking their preferences & might just start loving coffee. This was the first video of yours I saw. Good work.
    Thank you

No need to feel embarrassed. Restaurants are providing services. If anybody doesnt know coffee type or any menu for that matter, they would happily explain.
Learnings new things always helps but not knowing something originated in foreign countries is absolutely fine.
Be proud of your own roots and culture.

    Hotels
    Restaurants
    Cafe
These all are part of hospitality industry and there should be nothing like feeling ashamed or "bezati" (as per mentioned in your thumbnail) while placing order for something.
If you want to learn what to order or your wish from menu, then there are staff to assist you.
So please never feel ashamed because Starbucks is not a brand to make you feel down but to make you feel better 👍
It is all about hospitality 🙏🏻💐

I was a bit amused when I saw the title of the video since I felt this is a frivolous topic. However, I went through the video out of curiosity and actually ended up learning a few useful things. I generally avoid these cafes since I don't find their coffee to be anywhere as good as (the vastly cheaper) authentic South Indian filter coffee. But I do end up going to such cafes once in a while especially in social settings, so it's good to be aware of some of the details you walked us through. And more importantly, it's always a pleasure to learn something new. Thanks for making this video.
On a different note, we shouldn't feel embarrassed or self conscious in places we consider high end. I understand that if we visit these places for work related matters, making a good impression by appearing to 'blend in' might seem important. But what actually matters is your core substance - whether you can deliver good quality work, and so on. Other superficial stuff fades away quickly.

She trying to create the impression not knowing different coffee types and not doing the right pronunciation is degrading that is what people are object to, learn to understand the comments before commenting

Making a mistake while ordering coffee or anything else at Starbucks, or anywhere else for that matter, is entirely normal and nothing to be embarrassed about. We all have unique experiences and backgrounds, and it's essential to learn from each other. Instead of dwelling on potential embarrassment, let's focus on fostering a culture of empathy and support.

Hi , I agree with you that it is nice if you know the names of all the coffee that is served at Starbucks but I definitely don't agree with you on this that you feel embarrassed if you are not able to pronounce the name of the coffee correctly at the Starbucks , because the staff of Starbucks is so well groomed , they are so well trained and they are so hospitable and so polite that they never make you feel embarrassed about any thing. In fact if you want to enquire about particular coffee they will tell you the difference between different coffees and they will help you select the one that you like .. so I really don't agree with this that they would look up and down and then embarrass..the Starbucks staff is so nice and so kind that I have myself seen them so many times helping the beggars on the road, giving them free coffee free water free snacks and everything.. so please stop blaming them or stop targeting them just because they are working in a high end coffee shop . thank you

Well, u gave it to her in a very sophisticated way. Fantastic !!!
She is trying to convince people that it is 'beijjati' if u can't pronounce, because she wants to promote her videos.
She needs people to watch her videos to stay in business.
I can bet she is not english conversant n can neither write nor read nor speak the language at a length.
Doubt if she can say more than few sentences which she has tutored herself to.
Most foreigners cannot pronounce our names be it dishes or otherwise n they don't feel embarassed about it.
Meaning, Beijjat, cause that embarass will be too above her.
Her attitude is suggestive she is a novice to english.
And more importantly it is perfectly fine to order in hindi or local language.
Hindi will work all across india except south n may b few places in NE.
Plus everything is always explained on a menu.
N more imp. except for metros, majority of people r not english conversant.
N they can well afford the so called high end shops

Initially they regretted. But I was annoyed & insisted on only My choice of coffee. Finally I compelled them to serve me the authentic South Indian Coffee for the next five days. Be it U S or Europe as a proud Indian with self esteem I love to see them respecting an Indian. After all I'm their customer and I pay them.

This video reminded me of an incident with my ex-boyfriend 😂. We both happened to go to a cafe on Valentine’s Day, looked at the menu, and ordered a few meals, followed by ordering two espressos 🤣. We both didn’t know what espresso exactly was because it was the cheapest option among the other coffee choices 🤣. We were shocked to see the concentrated black coffee liquid at the bottom of each glass. We glanced at each other and laughed. We felt embarrassed, but no one really noticed except the waiter who was serving us. We ended up ordering cappuccinos after that 😭. So embarrassing!! Hahaha.

If you are not sure about anything you were ordering you can definitely ask the waiter about the ingredients. You were paying for it so there is no harm in asking rather they will be happy to help you out.

You had to be embarrassed because you didn't dare to ask beforehand. So be bold from next time onwards. Don't be afraid to show your ignorance. Nobody is an encyclopaedia.

Get over this colonial hang up.
      Angrez ki Ghulami.
It perfectly fine to be an indian.
Knowing english is helpful because it works across many countries but not knowing is not shameful.
Have u ever seen Putin or Meloni, 2 great leaders speak in english ?
Or for that matter Macron, Zelensky, Xi ping etc, all world leaders speak english ?
They all use their native languages.
      Be proud to be yourself.

I live in america and here no one makes you feel embarrassed if you don't know English language or ask multiple questions about something which is new for you.
It's so unfortunate for our country where people give so much importance to English language forgetting that language is a just a medium to communicate not the symbol of high class or status.

In India, English is a measure of your literacy and education ! how shameful is this! I see people makes fun of others, who r not good in english, or who even use good hindi in their speaking. "are ye to ganwar he hindi bol rha he" this kind of mentality people have in india! for me, if you know any native language like tamil, hindi , bhojpuri, and know it very well (writing, reading and speaking).. then you are educated!

People born in Delhi who are introverts are also not aware of many such cafe or clubs here because they are always at home 😅 and they love that unless they have someone really close enough to go out especially and have a good time with them ! So , basically what I am trying to say is this doesnt happen with just those who are coming to Delhi or Mumbai or any metropol from a small town but with introverts born in metropols too, because they might not have been to so many places and have not explored anything much except for themselves , lol!😅
