Ceol I mo chluasa
Good man Baz
Every time I hear this, I feel deeply moved by it, and the sense of 'grace' that saves us.
A friend sent me this video tonight to remind me of who I am.
I could listen to this track for the rest of life and never get sick of it ❤️
Tá’n t’Ádh Liom:
Ba bheag nár gur chaill mé mo chiall ansan.
Ba bheag nár gur briseadh mo chroí ansan.
Ba bheag nár gur gheall mé don diabhall ansan.
Ba bheag nár gur chas mé mo dhrom.
Bár go bun
Ba bheag nár gur ísligh mé mo bhrí ansan
Ba bheag nár gur thréig mé mo Dhia ansan
Ba bheag nár gur bhris mé mo riall ansan.
Ba bheag nár gur chas mé mo dhrom.
Bár go bun
Ní san an rud a tharla dom
Ná a bhí I ndán dom
Ní san an rud a bhí le titim amach orm
B’fhéidir go raibh an t’ádh liom
An t’ádh liom
Ar nós aingeal ós mo chionn
Ag obair ar mo shon
I ngan fhios dom
Ba bheag nár gur theip mé air mo Dhia ansan
Ba bheag nár go raibh an oíche san ró dhorcha dom
Ba bheag nár go raibh an coga san ró dhaor dom
Ba bheag nár gur chas mé mo dhrom
Ba bheag nár go raibh an oíche san ró fhada dom
Ba bheag nár go raibh an fána san ró ghéir dom
Ba bheag nár go raibh an domhain ró chodaithe dom
Ba bheag nár gur chas mé mo dhrom
Bár go bun.
Ní san an rud a tharla dom…
English translations:
Luck is with me.
My mind was nearly lost there.
My heart was nearly broken there.
My promise was nearly to the demon there.
I nearly turned my back,
from the top down.
My reason was nearly buried there
My God was nearly abandoned there
My code was nearly broken there
I nearly turned my back,
from the top down
But that is not what happened to me
Nor what was in store for me
That is not what was to befall me
Maybe luck was with me
Luck with me
Like an angel overhead
Working on my behalf
Unbeknownst to me.
I nearly failed my God there
That night was nearly too dark for me
That war was nearly too costly for me
I nearly turned my back
That night was nearly too long for me
That slope was nearly too steep for me
The world was nearly too fractured for me
I nearly turned my back
From the top down
But that is not what happened to me..
I knew this song was special when I heard it. Found the translation as my Irish isn't great and my god it hit hard. For all the tough times I've had in life, this sums my life up. Grace looked over me in dark times or even an angel ❤️ lucky is me ❤️ beautiful song....
😿❤❤❤🍀👍
Thanks
I’m quite sure this is the most gorgeous art I’ve felt in some while. Incredible. 🙏
@@rmswanny indeed, art!
I do not think this song could have just landed in front of me at a more appropriate time. Wonderful heartfelt tears, that did my pagan heart some good in a moment of dark. (true spirit speaks regardless of it's trappings)
❤❤❤
"Maybe I noticed"
Beautiful lads. Like being thrown into a warm cup of tae
This song is pure medicine 🍀💜🍃
Grace too, California. Not knowing Gaelic, I hum this tune swimming the Pacific. Now, this morning bed bound awhile I learned the title and topic! Grace too.
I love this song. Funny enough in Danish you also can say, the luck is with me. Heldet er med mig.Let the luck stay with Ronan and Myles.
Such a beautiful warm song. Just love Ronan's voice
i've listened to this over 10 times in the past 2 days, 100% pure unadulterated magic. myles o'reilly really is doing the lords work
You said it. The Lord's work. Amen brother.
God bless you, mo deirtháir, Rónán. Thanks for bringing that one back from the "room where all the unwritten proms are kept". Kavanagh spoke of the process in those terms in his psuedo-autobiography Tarry Flynn.
Your performances as I have viewed them have always been monumental to me, thank you for this cherry you have layed out for us. So soul nourishing, I can't tell you how moving. God bless.
Just used it at the end of a beautiful group Breathwork and there were tears… touches the Soul 🙏🏻💚✨💫
The nicest piece of music I've heard in a long time. Good on you.
I never cried to a song so frequently. I'm fucking balling.
Gooooooooood 🎶💧🙏
So be-u-to-ful on this here day 🎉🍀💜🍃🙏🏼 thank you lads 🥰
Such a beautiful song! I’m 17 and this is what I view as music! Not the drill my generation tend to listen to! Thank you for making a song where you can feel
It's like counting your blessings,
Gorgeous, soothing and love Ro's observations on grace at the end.
Thing of Beauty.
The song is hauntingly beautiful and the video captures the atmosphere perfectly. Very powerful stuff.

Super happy that someone’s put synth music to Irish folk music! this is my plan this year!
An enchanting, delightful piece of singing, playing & filming. I'll be sending it to my son Edmund later : I believe he'll relish the role played by the briefly but closely observed cats. I thought I might track down a translation - but I'm entirely happy without such. Lovely to hear Ronan speak after the playing. Thank you very much - players & Myles!
Thank you Tony! 💚
Just back from ye're gig in Ballincollig, absolutely utter. Magical. Gather enough little moments mar seo in the ceann and sure there's worse roofs to put over the mind when the whether is rough. Go raibh all the maiths aguibh. I've spent a while since I got home playing C# and D on the Shruti. Some delicious pulses abound in there. ✌
Ronan has such a voice
