Kiyotaka Ayanokoji has just enrolled at Tokyo Koudo Ikusei Senior High School, where it's said that 100% of students go on to college or find employment. But he ends up in Class 1-D, which is full of all the school's problem children.

Songs are always good but the animation of the openings is very cheeky and low quality especially season 2 where they reused the exact same scenes twice in the opening and now this one where they’re reusing in anime scenes with effects

I'm convinced that Ayanokoji is the embodiement of adaptability and stoicism at it's finest
And I'm convinced this is the most mentally degraded comment I have seen. What Ayanokoji portrays is a mix of sociopathic and psychopathic tendencies, along with an extreme Machavellian personality. He is absolutely the farthest thing from an actual practitioner of Stoicism.
Ayanokoji's stoic demeanor and rational approach to situations cannot be completely dismissed. Stoicism, at its core, emphasizes self-control, resilience, and the pursuit of virtue. He often displays a calm and composed demeanor, even in challenging circumstances. He possesses the ability to detach himself emotionally and think objectively, which aligns with some stoic principles + his actions and decisions are often driven by a desire for personal growth and the pursuit of a greater goal which is a trait of Stoicism@@omransaeed1988

Stoicism encourages these four virtues in everyday life: wisdom, courage, temperance (moderation) and justice, and living in accordance with the course of nature.
Out of the four, Ayanokoji displays NONE.
*Justice?* His morals are basically "I want to win."
*Wisdom?* No, he displays no wisdom, what he displays is sharp intelligence, true, but there is absolutely no wisdom in what he does.
*Courage?* I could argue that for courage to exist, fear needs to exist alongside it, otherwise that's not courage, but immense self-confidence. Ayanokoji is not courageous, but rather confident.
*Moderation?* I don't think so, that would require him to know how to hold back, and when he has no morals, there needs not exist for moderation in morals or whatever he's willing to do.
Point is, Ayanokoji is not even close to actual, true stoicism.

He’s not really stoic, he just is emotionless. But like completely emotionless, always. That is why he is a defect in that sense

@@tatoucache4306 exactly, The grid is too small. It would need an extra row. I suppose if you treated it like a Coordinate Grid map or Chessboard of the room it could work. Like if you are standing in the top left you'd be in A1 and if you moved to where Ayanokoji sits you'd be in D1. Yamauchi's coordinates would be C4. Desks aren't per a coordinate then.

1:22 I don't know what's going to happen in this season but as an chess player if he got bishop in an endgame then he is definitely winning against knight.
I love how the pieces are of the same material value, but so many factors could change who has the advantage.
Yes, bishop and knight have the same value, but the knight its better in closed positions (Direct attack) (Arisu does direct manipulation) and the bishop just wait in distance, like Ayanokoji, that act in shadows. At least, that is my interpretation [Im play chess too (: ]

It actually starts out as a frown but then turns into a smile. What could that possibly mean? 🤔
Haven't seen anyone talking about the symbolism with the chess piece and the chairs. While Ichinose and Ryuen claim their places as class leaders by sitting on their chairs and Arise also does this by sitting on the top of the chess piece, ayanokoji always stay on the side, refusing to assume himself as a leader.
Why the 2 chairs for everyone except for ayanokoji?
@i Maybe because class A, B and C can be manipulated or influenced, but class D (now class C) can't.
All of them are chilling in their own levels while Ayanakoji is below his true level

season 2 clearly showed and established the coming conflict with class C, now class D
season 3 is now shifting the focus and now ayanokoji and class C are up against class A

Classroom of the Elite always has masterclasses in terms of its credits, a bit like the character of Ayanokoji who is a real joy to see on screen.
This song is always stuck in my head and I love it

Mr.ayanokoji is very masterful of his dark side and light side. So he controls his dark triad traits well as much as his light traits like resilience and control over his destiny.
He starts out depressed in the first novels, but later on, he opens his heart more to those whom he has guided in developing themselves. He later is no longer depressed and only focused on winning, but also, reaching new heights with few others. He no longer is Icarus who arrogantly reaches for the sun, but rather, reaches new heights with other few. And becomes his own star.
He is why this light novel is so excellent! As it shows someone who starts disinterested, ends up attaining the deepest interests of which we all call fate.
He is what literally develops all the other characters, helping all the girls be the best woman they can be, and some of them literally changing enormously due to him.
