One of coldest night on average again tonite,it's freezing, but it's better then the pouring rain, woke up to blanket of white snow, here in Halifax, early morning, was dark, bright clear morning ,it's what we need ❤
Your new camera is brilliantly clear Stephen. My wife and I have stayed at the Imperial several times and it still is a class act. Following in the footsteps of Maggie Thatcher & the other politicians who've stayed there. Let's hope they never take in the boat people unlike some of the other Blackpool hotels. When you see all the derelict properties & filthy streets and alleyways it's just typical of how Labour councils treat their towns.
I have to confess, I'm a Bridlington person- Both journeys are arduous from Sheffield and expensive unless you wait for those brilliant Northern Rail offers. I came to Blackpool last Wed for a day out just after the storms. It was freezing, but I love the seaside, any season. I came across your channel - and watch every one. What a wonderful personality you have, a credit to Blackpool. I'll be back next year - I want to go up the Tower!
A friend in security who did night patrols always reckoned 2-3 am was the coldest in winter, he used to try to have some soup, porridge or instant noodles just before to keep warm.
Winter’s dawn is a fascinating time of day as the earth shakes off the darkness and chill of the night… Too bad it’s such a drag getting out of bed that early!
Had snow overnight and its absolutely freezing today, getting colder now 1deg feels colder, fires on blanket round me, took photo of the moon this morning looked beautiful in the bright blue sky, that sky at Blackpool looks amazing, thanks for this stroll and chat ,fab stay warm Stephen, bye for now 😊
It was very cold on Tuesday night/Wednesday morning and I was further up in north west England at Talkin Tarn which is east of Carlisle visiting the new stargazing pavilion and it got down to -4! Very fine views of the Moon, Jupiter and in the morning Venus plus Uranus in my monocular.
Enjoyed many a stay at the Imperial Hotel. Getting more sad each time. What a shame. Thanks again Stephen keeping us informed with your interesting videos.
The coldest part of the day is between 4 and 6 am, in my experience. Very cold looking, clear sky in Edinburgh: there was snow in the higher / outer parts of the city yesterday!
Good morning Steve. Thank you for that Incredible information about, when it is the coldest part of the day. I had an inklin that it was about early morning, sunrise. I have learnt something new, that i never knew. The footage of the Full Moon and the Sky colour changes was Incredible with your Special Telephoto Camera. The Clarity and the High Resolution of the video, You are really Good at getting that right Photograph or piece of video footage of that moment. Mother Nature does really suprise us at the different changes of the Seasons of the Year. Earth really is a Beautiful and Glorious Spectacle of Wonder. We all should be Greatfull and Appreciate the Beauty outside our homes. Thank you very much Steve for sharing your Incredible video. ☺☺☺👍👍👍🌎🌎🌎📽📽📽
The solstice dec 21st is only the beginning of winter. Winter is 21st dec to 21st March so mid winter and the coldest generally is around beginning Feb ❄ xx
I figured it would be around the sunrise would be the coldest part of the day. It takes time to be the warmest during the summer as well, usually July, August are the hottest of the summer.
Really enjoy watching your videos to find out new information. Especially like how you use knowledge from your Starman channel and link it in. Thanks for sharing 😊
That was a lovely video m8 really enjoyed that and them winter views of the Lake District were brilliant a great mid week adventure was had well done Stephen 😅
Hi Stephen thank you for another great video as always love the look of the imperial hotel stunning what amazing views out to sea its a bit chilly though lol have a great day xx
We heard the manhole cover outside the hotel and it was quite noisy but heard nothing inside our room last weekend when we stayed, we were hoping to see you on your journeys but after twenty times over the last couple of years staying at Blackpool you must be avoiding us LOL
I happen to be immune to the cold, do not feel it as others do, but just been outside as cold as anything. Hope it snows as it would be nice to introduce my little one to it. My little Pomeranian saw ice for the first time this afternoon and was fascinated by it,
Brilliant. Video Stephen. Yes I totally learned many things watching this, thanks ever so much you are a hive of fantastic information. it’s not clever weather ingreater Manchester area today, very parky ! I’m praying we don’t get any snow, we hopefully may escape it. A lot, places seem get it worse, than us. I believe we are sheltered by the Pennines ? And we are as such in a basin ? Does that sound correct at all ? Down south and other areas seem get more bad floods than here, but never lived down there so clueless, apart from what I read on news. The icy paths look very worrying, that’s the problem at this time of year. I love to see the clear views over towards the Lake District, Fantastic isn’t it ? The sky so pink looks serene stephen. Once again another brilliant video. Keep warm have a lovely Friday and relaxing weekend. Di. Xxxx
Good evening George, hope all's well, we've not been on our stroll, very dicey on the paths after the snow early this morning, been exceptionally cold cold, D just took Mia across to school and back after, just watching my soaps take care keep warm 😊
@@hazelmanship7516 Good evening Hazel i everything is good here it's not been above zero all day here it's minus 3 at the moment and getting colder i got my bloods done today I'll get the results next week i think I'll have a few days in the house as the weather is supposed to get worse hope to speak soon
Was freezing today stephen I went for a walk on the sea front on swansea bay and the wind was bitter . Great vlog again with some interesting info thanks again on taking your time out to do them 👍
I always prefer the freezing nights to the constant rain. As it was, I defrosted my car in a couple of minutes and was on my way well before 08:00 as always, as those of us who have business to attend to do on a daily basis.
Absolutely Baltic today. been up to Bispham this morning and walked back down to the Christmas market .. mind you had a few pit stops on the way really enjoyed today only just got in 9:20pm ...great video Stephen
Great Video Steve I Enjoyed It There Is Going To Be Northern Lights Tonight Here In Michigan But We Might See Them There Is A Snow And Rain storm Coming It Was 30 Degrees This Morning At 9 Am Have A Great Night😊
Hi Stephen - I once was told the coldest part of the day was sunrise because as the sun rises the sun's rays start to warm and therefore agitate the cold upper atmosphere forcing the cold air downwards to the ground. No idea if there is any science or fact to it but it was interesting.
Mint video the belt of Venus hey very interesting 👍 😀 omg beautiful view's of the lake's we need more... was that barrow the building's on the left looking at the lake's?
Yes its freezing all over the place not just in Blackpool. I did hear the fact before about the coldest part of the day from someone who served in the forces so i guess its true .
We owned 40% of a town house in Poland which had a similar style to that imperial. unfortunatley the other smaller owners were dicks. My there's some ropey places round that first bit, my surname is Alexander haha. Oi we can't help being tough up here in the North East, we're all still wearing t shirts.😅
It’s working really well. It’s very impressive. Have a great day. Where ever you end up walking today. Or do you do your live stream on Friday evenings.
Wow Belt of Venus looks amazing xx

Wow! 30º here is usually read as 30º Centigrade, a bit different to Fahrenheit.
Coldest part of the day is them people who have to sleep in the door ways!

interesting, sometimes you look at the sky and think its pretty but you never know why, even my daughter was interested!!!
It's butt-freezing weather, right now.
Did you notice Steve in the alleyway in the beginning of the video they just tarmaced over the cobblestones
Thankfully the current owners are looking after the Imperial and it's still in good shape. I always stay there 😊
The delayed effect (even when things are getting light) tells you how long it takes the sun's rays to get here 🤔
👍👍
Like learning about local history keep teaching us
