  • Welcome to the next instalment in my California series. In this video I am covering the wines of the Sonoma Coast AVA in Sonoma, California. This is where some of the best Pinot Noir in the world is produced.
As always with my video series the first few episodes will be shown here on youtube. But if you want to see the rest of the USA series for now you will have to sign up to the D3 bundle on my portal.

You may want to consider adding more detail on Freestone-Occidental. The wines are very distinct from Ft Ross, Petaluma Gap, Annapolis/Gualala, etc. Perhaps the foggiest and coolest region in the entire Sonoma coast. A very special subregion, in my opinion, and home to some truly singular vineyard and wines

For sure - but please remember that this follows the WSET syllabus for the Diploma (although I have added quite a bit more on this one for example including the new WSC AVA). Thanks for commenting - WWJ
