This model of "the oppressed becoming the oppressor" can be seen in other situations. Look at the Wiki article about the nation of Liberia. There you will read about freed American slaves who went back to Africa to create a society which brutally treated the indigenous people who were already there. The way the Narrator introduces the doughboy, starting at 20:26, like he was the frigging Devil, was EPIC! The music was perfect, and I wonder how many takes it took said Narrator to say that without laughing. As far as the guy from H-D goes... this may sound weird but, I can at least appreciate his honesty about being an absolute a-hole. I say that, even though I have always believed that "Nice guys finish last" at least in the business world. Never got into commerce, as I just do not have it in me to be that ruthless to be successful. I get the feeling that this was a very rare upset victory for an underdog.

My wife and I visited the Ben and Jerry's factory. Very cool. Smaller than I thought it would be, but my wife won a Cherry Garcia ice cream bar for answering the trivia question at the end of the tour. Then we met Jerry milling around the place. Super cool and laid back guy and very friendly. Doubt you would ever meet the owner of HD walking through their factory.
You can see one was run by enthusiasts, the other is just another business, solely existing for profit. I’m sure B&J is as cut throat as the rest by now, but its interesting to see the difference.
Häagen-Dazs is so... bland and plain. Forgive the pun, but they’re just too vanilla for me. Ben and Jerry’s flavors are intense, memorable, and full of variety and depth. Karmel Sutra Core is crazy, y’all. Get your paws on it.

I used to be a huge ben and jerry’s fan but with my money possibly going to liberal lunacy causes I have no choice but switch back over to haagen dazs. No big deal either because haagen dazs is still friggen awesome.
don't care for ben and jerry's ice cream. dislike all the junk in it. unilever and other megaconglomerates bought it for the virtue signaling in its past, blindly loyal liberal market. again, horribly overpriced.
hd was and a looser company founded on lies producing a ridiculously overpriced product. for similar prices one can get true local hadmade ice cream in either classic flavors or creative ones WITHOUT chunks of junk.
