Ways i've cut expenses:
1. Bills: Cut subscriptions
2. Shelter: Renting a smaller, older house
3. Transportation: Bought a smaller car, used, better mpg
4. Groceries: Aldi and Costco over Publix and Target. Less eating out by ALOT!
5. Clothes: Buy second-hand! Thrift shopping is CHEAP.

Congratulations on your engagement! As a sister in Christ, who lived in sin for 7 years with her boyfriend living together (before we were saved) I want to encourage you to marry sooner than later if you know he is the one God wants you to marry. Having sex out of wedlock is extremely painful in your spirit, and being engaged is not the same, playing house is not the same as a covenant marriage with God. We got engaged in February one year and were planning a wedding for the following spring. We went to marriage counseling classes in our church and everything was great. I'm happy our church wasn't shy about talking about living in the sin of sexual relationships before marriage. And after our second marriage classes ended one Sunday the Pastor looked at us and said "Why are you waiting? Marriage is for God and not Man." So we got married that Friday. Just us, our daughter, two witnesses and a photographer. Best decision of my life. ❤ But, I will say that we couldn't marry until we were both equally yoked. If he doesn't love the Father as much or more than you do. Then it's not time to be married. And especially not thr best to live together. Save yourself alot of heartache. We have been together for 15 years and married for 7 years.
