Hey Rob. Off subject here. When I click on your link to order a piece of merchandise, I can't seem to find out what shipping would be even after putting in all my information in other than my cc number. Any suggestions? Thx
This app is a game changer when trying new band members. I send them the file and tell them to get this app before the first rehearsal. Absolutely awesome
First off, you can stop doing any further research/ looking for the perfect teacher for the drums. I dug deep for many, many months watching other teaching channels, pages, apps, lessons, etc., and I can say without a doubt that this guy is THEE best!! Watched this video last week, skeptical, but hopeful, as I'm a singer first, (beginner) drummer second. Downloaded Moises, gave the free songs of my choice from my phone a try, jaw dropped. THIS is everything you've always wanted in an app for musicians of all kinds, singers like me who want the original versions of songs without the main vocal (and not crappy karaoke versions) to sing/ record to, plus it has the option to put the vocals in one ear (and adjust volume and how much of the vocals, drums, etc. you'd like to hear) and the drums and bass in the other ear AND the metronome still in the background. I did not hesitate spending money with the app to do even more than I already could for free. Trust me.
Man, this is why I love your channel. You’re always giving the best advice. Not only on how to improve my skills but ways to improve my game. Thanks, man. 🤘🏻🥁❤️
I’ve been using this for a few months and agree that it is great. I will say that the better the quality of file that you start with, the better your end result will be.
Rob... it is amazing!!! I found this about 2 months ago, and it's great for practicing, learning new tunes for the band and auditioning for gigs. I will take the drumless version and the metronome tracks and import them into Audacity and then play along with while recording. Not only do I get the advantage of playing along with whatever tune I want (even with folks that have original music), but I can listen back to hear how I play. Over the years I have some pretty good music minus drums tracks, but it was a struggle to find the tunes I wanted, now I can have anything I want! I love it!
I’ve been using this app. It’s really great. Another cool use is to save the drum track separately so you can hear what the original drums are actually playing in the song. Another tip is that I’ve noticed the quality is better if you use an iTunes file rather than a URL from TH-cam.
@@scottyg5403 I don’t think so. You can’t even use iTunes unless you buy the song. It only takes an actual music file or a URL from the cloud or public site. My personal process is to buy the song in iTunes. Rob made a great recommendation in keeping the drum track at 15% or so. I have been eliminating it 100% and it does remove other non drum frequencies. This really depends on the song tho.
Hi Rob, I just purchased Moises and it’s just like Moses - leading me to the promised land of practicing along with music I have been working on to learn - and in tandem with a metronome! I can’t thank you enough for all your amazing and inspiring video lessons and now, for turning me on to this extraordinary and magical learning tool. I already loaded a dozen songs into it (and am supporting the company’s genius by subscribing to its premium service, which is entirely affordable and well worth the investment).
You're right, that app is what I've been searching for and another utuber posted a drumless song and he told me about it - this changes everything. It doesn't seem as happy when removing vocs though, but luckily for us it removes drums VERY well - BIG +!!! It also seems to isolate the bass track and the guitar /keys too.
I just got this App as I had to learn a drum part quickly for a song I had never heard before. Having listened to very loud music all my life, I have significant hearing loss in one ear and that can make separating the drums out difficult in songs where they are way down in the mix. Being able to have the drums up on full volume whilst muting everything else down so its really in the background makes learning drum parts so much easier for me. Then playing along without the drum track is great practice.
Been using it for a while, it’s a great app. Only thing to point out is on the free version you’re limited to processing 5 songs per month at a maximum of 5 minutes in length. Anything above this you need to pay for the premium version.
@@ljcaballero3428 Affordable how? If you were to keep the app for 20 years it would cost $800 at the discounted annual rate. You could get a whole new drum set for that cost.
Great App, I export all channels separately and import them to pro tools or garageband to practise or record with my drums in the mix. Works perfectly.
Some reviews complaining about poor quality audio ie phrasing and underwater feel. I had the same thing. Premium does supposedly preserve frequencies above 11k which may help. But only good for practice at that quality. I tried it with a pop song "Raise Your Glass - Pink" and an awesome odd meter prog rock song "In the End - Andromeda" and had similar results and instrument separation. I would be wary of updates on the free one, as apps like this often change to paid after a random update. On the other hand the quality of separation can only get better.
You're not doing anything wrong. This app is pure shit. There are "ads" like this Rob Brown dude (these ads are all over TH-cam) are made to sound great. These folks like Rob are getting compensated by Moises for promoting their false ads.
that is incredible, I downloaded it and checked out the first song it came with and I'm blown away, wow, I know so many people that would love this app I can't wait to share this with them, myself included. I no longer have to mentally pull drum tracks out to learn how a song is played on the drums mind blown.
Yea as soon as I saw Cobus'video I downloaded Moises too.It is magic.I tested it out with a cover of our band at rehearsel. It separated all the instruments and vocals.Told me what tempo I was playing and gave me the ability to change pitch and tempo.Crazy.

Thanks Rob. A great find. It’s great for songwriters I work with. When they hear a song with a great feel, they can grab the drum track, demo on top of that then send me their demo (with and without drums) for me to add my drum tracks to. I’ve given out the spiel and looking forward to seeing how this works out. I’m just taking a break before recording a track for myself now. 🙏☮️🥁

Hey Rob this is a game changer for sure...very cool to be a drummer in this day in age with this new tech, always hoped for something like this to happen!

Well I tried it with a purchased ITunes song and it sounded kind of ok until i pulled back the drum fader then then sound was all wonky and phasing . Then I tried playing only the drum track and it sounded like it was under 50 feet of water with a noise gate on full x10 . I’ll be fair because I don’t like being negative without giving a positive , the concept is brilliant , but I just couldn’t deal with the resulting sound , unless they at some point figure out how to improve on the sound for now I’ll have to sit this one out . Sorry Moises 🙏🏻
I agree, I purchased it and tried a few songs but wasn’t impressed with the quality after drums were removed. I’m hopeful for quality improvements before I try again.
