It may seem like it I guess but his JP is very much early beginner levels. This conversation just happens to be simple and uses terms that he's heard over and over a lot (common meme stuff in vtuber circles). You can get most of it just from context too. He has obviously put in a lot of hours, but language is a different beast. Basic conversational Japanese seems easy but behind it hides a dragon with a very very long tail. RPR doesn't understand even simple phrases once it goes outside of the vtuber tropes for example. He is overestimating his JP comprehension if anything (I know because I was there at one point where he is now and grossly overestimated it myself), and you are overestimating it even more.

@@rprxx It wasn't meant as a dig but an observation based on a recent stream where you thought you understood about half of what people say (I'd wager it's way less, again based on my own experience with the same). I love the go-getter attitude nevertheless. Also love that you are in random-ass clips and bring them up to the actual vtubers too. Keep it up good sir.
I think some if not most people are like that when around not so close friends/acquaintance, but become "mean" (idk the right word) when around close friends, like a different persona (not a fake personality) for different friend group, ie. when around pervy friend group you become pervy, around serious ones you become serious etc.
