(I don't even have HBO. :) ) And to answer your question, "naked parties" sounds like something a bunch of frat guys would try to convince some freshman girls are a thing. Given that America tends to be more conservative than Europe about nudity (for example, there are no nude beaches here, as far as I know), I don't think there'd be parties like this. (For example, when I went to Berkeley (admittedly a long time ago), people still talked about some guy who had gone to classes nude years earlier. Berkeley is a place so legendarily liberal that it's become a joke (e.g. there are daily protests in the center of campus, on topics ranging from serious to "more vegan options in the cafeteria"), but even there I've never seen a nude person in class, and the one guy who did it was a legend talked about years later.) So while I can imagine a party that ends up as a naked party after enough alcohol, I doubt any real party starts out that way. (With that said, I hadn't gone to any parties in college, so I wouldn't have any first hand knowledge.)
