How do I make this? I have a severe algae bloom and the algae’s laying on the floor of my pool and I need to be able to get it out like this because no chemicals or the vacuumed I’ve tried will help. Please help me❤

Try an ordinary garden hose 4.5 m long or whatever you already have. Attach one end of the hose to the broom stick with ties and that part must be below the water level, and the other end of the hose should be outside the pool. Pull the water like in the video to start flowing through the hose outside and slowly pull and clean the pool floor.

Agree with @@mirjana9017 and you can also buy a cheap disposable plastic container, cut a small hole in it, put the end of the hose that will be under the water through the hole, duct tape the hose to the plastic container so it won't come apart, then proceed as otherwise. The plastic container allows you to clean more area each pass. Go slowly and it sucks it right up.

Will it work in an inground pool?

Im completely clueless on how to construct things. What is used for to connect pvc with the hose?

I'm a pool technician, unless you have a bad filter with cracks and tears, the algae fallout will not go through your filter cartridge. I've been maintaining pools for over 16 years.

You might need to up your pool technician game. It's quite well known that some types of algae, especially green algae, can be small and fine enough to pass through the pores of a typical filter cartridge in a pool. (It can be effective in trapping a lot of algae though).

I believe you but I've never had it happen to me, only when the filter was bad some algae can pass through a filter but I've never experienced that after killing it with algaecide or shock AND allowing the pool to circulate for AT LEAST 24hrs. Even in my green to clean services, all dead algae filter it's way out, and what ever remains settled to the bottom and I system vacuumed it and then washed it out of the filter. You can also system vacuum to waste, but I hated losing all that water.

    Why not vacuum properly?
