  • How to attach and remove. universal adapter for a Worx leafPro Universal Leaf Collection System to a Back & Decker leaf blower
This video was to actually help me as I seem to forget how to remove the adapter every year. And, I thought I would do this video so others could use it too. I hope you find this video helpful

Thanks, yes you push the tabs down and feed the strap through with your other hand.

To anyone looking for what the heck this guy is talking about. There are prongs on both sides of the ratchet strap, squeeze those in pull out the strap
Edit: after some more trial and error, you actually push them down, not squeeze them.

I am not able to remove the attachment, I pressed hard on two sides of the tab, still, it's not getting loosened!

yes it’s hard to work with especially if it has been outside in the cool temps. Make sure you are pressing it down when you squeeze it

      Pressing down on what?

My adapter is jammed and won’t budge. It is in the fully closed position now. How do I get it to release??

Only thing I can suggest is to take it inside and let it warm up. if it’s cold out of course. I don’t use mine anymore but I recall having a similar experience and I just kept trying

Couldn't get this to work no matter how I manipulated the squeeze tabs. Not even if I squeezed them with pliers, pushed, pulled, down, up, you name it.
It’s Saturday but WORX only answers phones weekdays until 7. Meanwhile, the manual says “simply unlatch and loosen the strap.”
I had to cut the adapter off to continue working. Even after cutting the adapter off the strap wouldn’t budge.
I have always loved and recommended WORX products but this has shaken my confidence in them.

I had a hard time with it as well, especially if it was cold. I do not use it anymore as the suction isn’t strong enough. Not sure if it’s not a tight seal or if my leaf blower is damaged

How to remove the adapter i cannot find the place to see the click

    • @NotNoAndrew
      @NotNoAndrew  3 ปีที่แล้ว

Hello Jess, when you squeeze the end and push down you will hear a click. It's on the pivot end of the ratchet. th-cam.com/video/RkGxhb3eSxo/w-d-xo.html. Unless you have a different attachment than what is in the video.

@@NotNoAndrew OMG thank you! I was ready to return the second one I bought. I bought the entire kit thinking the Black and Decker adapter would fit, and of course it did not. Your blower/mulcher looks like mine, it's an older model.

@@elizabethhicks8583 yes, I did. I sprayed it with WD-40 and waited an hour. I then rested the clip on my thigh and pushed DOWN while loosening the strap. Muscle needed but now it's OK. WD-40 definitely needed
