- Welcome to part 1 of your Super Nintendo World virtual tour! Super Nintendo World is a new Nintendo themed land coming to Universal Studios (Japan, Hollywood, Orlando & Singapore). In today's video we take a deep dive into some of the things we know about the land and speculate some things we would love to see. Some cool things that are going to be featured in Super Nintendo World are PowerUp brackets and AR/VR binoculars - watch the video to find out all about them!
We are both huge Nintendo fanatics and Super Nintendo World is a dream come true. We were actually planning a trip to Universal Studios Japan this year to be some of the first to experience Super Nintendo World, as it was scheduled to open right before the Summer 2020 Olympics. But as you might imagine, our plans changed due to a global pandemic.
We speculate that Super Nintendo World at Universal Studios Japan will open in 2020 (and as soon as it's safe to get there...we are so going). We are locals to Universal Studios Hollywood and while there is no official announcement for an opening date, the construction seems pretty far along and our best guess would be it was scheduled to open probably sometime in 2021. Universal Studios Singapore is scheduled to open in 2025 and Epic Universe in Orlando is scheduled for 2024.

Droid Depot but with RC karts. You can purchase a banana that attaches to the back and can be dropped or shell that launches off the front. With an RFID reader, like the crystal reader in the Holocrons and Savi sabers, and if you put a mushroom near it it will run faster, if a banana is detected that is not the one paired with it then the steering goes crazy. If near a shell then it spins and motion is disabled for a moment. So that you could hit your own items, instead of pairing, there could be a plunger or magnetic reed switch. When it is launched it ignores detection for a few seconds after the plunger or magnetic switch opens but then if it comes close it impacts the same as any other banana/shell. This would eliminate the complexity and the need to pair bananas and shells to the kart, but adds in a failure point with the switches.
I'd like to see the Animal Crossing presents with balloons floating in the air. I know it'll never happen but it sounds hilarious.

I wish the PowerUp Band also came in like a light blue for Roselina. I always play as her in MarioKart and she's my absolute favorite characters in the world of Mario
They should have edible Stars and a huge marshmallow ghost you buy out of a haunted Luigi mansion. 🤤🤤
I really hope it will be a success and Nintendo will expand the park by adding more of their IPs. I would love to see the world of Hyrule, DK island, Animal crossing village, Star Fox airwings or Splatoon arena etc.

If Nintendo goes beyond their most famous property: Mario, then we can get a few other great things: Like a Legend of Zelda ride, a Star Tours like ride with Team StarFox, a scary dark ride based on Metroid, a Kirby playzone for kids and a real-life PokéPark.

So I think they should sell backpacks that look like the “Poltergust” from Luigi’s Mansion. Even around Halloween have a way to interact with the app and catch ghosts!

Electronic poke balls that can detect “nearby” Pokémon that you can catch around the park. It would have a display in it so you can see which Pokémon you find.
This is absolutely schweet like seeing something like this comes to life. Too bad I can't go anywhere still locked down with stay at home orders. I want to thank you both for sharing the update on everything you both do
I want human-sized Mario accessories! I want fire and ice flowers, I want a koopa shell and big man and one up mushrooms and a handheld Mario fireball! Super Mario Galaxy crazy, over-the-top roller coaster! So fun!

Universal Studios Osaka sells really cool plush hats, similar to what Tokyo Disney offers. Got a sweet Jaws and Jurassic Park one last year. I can only imagine they will have plush hats and headbands for all the Mario characters!
So look forward to this. Think this will be such a huge draw since how global and family friendly Nintendo games are. I think Universal Orlando will have the largest land, looking at the concept art. May have a Donkey Kong land, which think is a nice nod since it all started with Donkey Kong.
I also hope they sell mario hats, but don't forget to include other like wario and waluigi as well!

Ordinary Adventures I was going to go for the first time but then the virus happened, the one plus is I can save a little more money for the trip.
Maybe you can catch and train a variety of Pokémon creatures at Nintendo world’s creature stall. You can catch creatures such as squirtle, charmander, and bulbasuar that are contained in a giant pokeball cage with a handle on top and you would be able to open it!
Imagine if you ordered a mushroom at the restaurant and it gave you maybe 30 minutes of special power up band action, like how it makes Mario bigger 😱

Since there are going to be restaurants, I thought it would be cool if they had the Mario Mushroom as a desert. Something like a cupcake, taking on the exact shape of the mushroom.
The castle of Bowser is a maze themed with bowser's castle and when u finish u can do a boss fight with bowser that will be so cool

* Gotta Catch 'Em All: A "find the pokemon" adventure similar to the wilderness explorer badges at Animal Kingdom. Roam around and try to find the different Pokemon and collect awards if you find them.
* Samus in full armor roaming around the world. When she goes on break they take out a BB8 style robot and roll it around as if she's in Morph Ball mode.
* Link's master sword hidden in the world, similar to Sword in the Stone at Magic Kingdom/Disneyland
* Find all 8 pieces of the triforce of power hidden throughout the world as easter eggs.
* Have the Mario Kart ride being a combination of Autotopia (some driving controls available to riders) and Radiator Springs Racers
They should add a droid depot but it's with yoshi's and or make your own karts

They need to have a Mario Kart track of some kind. Either drive yourself, or maybe a roller coaster. A whole Pokemon section would be awesome, but I doubt it would be in that.

Q&A: If Savi’s Lightsaber Workshop ever gets new themes, what do you think they would base it on. Also, what if they made new kinds of Chassis for you hilt, so like a double bladed Chassi, a Curved Chassi, or maybe even a Shoto hilt Chassi, I think that would be an interesting idea to attract more customers
This is pretty cool, but I think that it sounds more like Super MARIO World instead of Super NINTENDO World. I would like them to put more nintendo themed rides like Kirby, Donkey Kong, Zelda, Pokemon, Metroid, and much more.
Yes I’m hoping maybe in the future they will add other rides that aren’t Mario. We are doing a part 2 of this and we talk about the rumored Donkey Kong ride and whole DK themed land.

am i the only one that doesnt have a switch and came to watch this
So from what I've read so far, the FL version is the only version of the land with a DK section, and its based off Donkey Kong Country and it's supposedly going to have a mine cart coaster in that area... unfortunately due to covid-19 though, the Epic Universe project is on hold so who knows when that park will be open. :( Also, at one point Super Nintendo World was supposed to have a Zelda area with Hyrule Castle and I think a Pokemon area, but those were put on the back burner because of budgeting issues.. :(
The donkey Kong area looks like a cool addition. Seems like the have the space to eventually make it in japan too. Would love to see Zelda stuff down the road if they ever add more lands.
I’d like to have a Pokémon land. We already have POKÉMON GO, now we just need the land so there can be things we can interact with. Another idea is there could be another app for the Pokémon Land. You could then transfer/copy your Pokémon from POKÉMON GO to the other app for the Pokémon land. Just a few ideas

When I heard you guys talk about AR it gave me an idea for a video you guys could do. There’s an Augmented Reality head set called “Lenovo Star Wars Jedi Challenges” that is extremely cheap (Like fifty bucks on eBay) where you get a lightsaber controller and fight villains from Star Wars. I’ve used it and it’s extremely fun. You guys could maybe make a video playing with it.
