Wow guys, you look so rejuvenated, especially Jay! I think I know exactly how you feel. After 2 years living in Dubai I was so sick of blue skies every day, sunshine, same hot weather, humidity... It was like the same day over and over repeating itself. It was fine in the beginning, but then after sometime it is great to have a jacket, sweat shirt, clouds, rain... Normal weather :)
Latvia looks amazing, I am planning to do a tour this summer Helsinki, Riga, Tallin, Vilnius... Full Baltic swing.
Looking forward to more videos! Cheer's, Predrag

What a lovely place! I like that the houses have some space between them.I really like the peace and quiet there. And love that ppl have gardens in their yards. It reminds me of home in Alaska. Pristine clean air, water and environment.

Hey Jay and Alina. Thank you for taking us on this journey. Harriet and I went to Riga and enjoyed our stay there. We think the temperament of Latvia suits you very well. Harriet and I will
continue to support your channel 100% . Looking forward to new adventures in Latvia. We think there is a house in your future on the river/lake. By the way, where we live in Virginia, we have
plenty of pine trees and yes pine cones on the ground. Hope one day you can come and visit us. Sending you lots of love💖💖 Jim, Harriet and Yuki. Richmond, Va.

Hello from CA and thanks 4 your beautiful video on Latvia. Walking in a forest(redwood trees) is my favorite pleasure, breathing fresh air and feeling relaxed naturally. This is the one activity i missed when i lived in Bali....no place to walk in peace! Enjoy and indulge in nature🐻

    Hi Alina and Jay.
    Awesome vlogs guys.
I am originally from the south of Germany, and remember hiking thru Forrests with my parents as a child.
    The sounds and smells....
I said to my wife we are putting Latvia on our list.
Absolutely amazing.I agree with Jay,would definitely pick a Forrest/Cooler Climate over Tropical for many reasons.

@@artursbondars7789 yes and thats very okay, apartments are good. But speaking of houses in adazi and elsewhere its not that different. Go to priezciems and you will also see that people live like that. In jurmala there are of course historic houses and not expensive, they want people to move in in such houses and take care of them. So a lot of latvian people as a result live in historic houses

In Latvia we have special separate gardens for growing food which are usually a drive away from your house, but those "gardens" are HUGE fields with potatoes and other things, some have small summer houses there.
Latvians originally were a nation of farmers before the Russians and Germans invaded us
