Per noi italiani rappresenta una nuova icona della musica pop. Dire che è brava è poco. Ha una grandissima capacità di interpretare qualsiasi brano, che sia suo o di altri (cover). Nella sua semplicità, è un esempio per altri cantanti che invece sono solo montatura da palcoscenico. Il suo DNA parla chiaro: padre e madre cantanti negli anni 80. Angelina ha una voce unica! È una "figlia d'arte"! È figlia di Mango, una delle voci maschili più belle italiane, che purtroppo da parecchi anni non c'è più ed è figlia di una ex cantante di un gruppo italiano famoso!
Angelina si è fatta conoscere, partecipando in televisione, alla scuola "Amici" di Maria de Filippi. Lì per 8 mesi abbiamo potuto vedere la sua crescita professionale e la sua bellissima e dolcissima persona. Dal 1° momento (la 1° puntata del programma tv) che l'ho sentita cantare (in mezzo ad altri cantanti del programma tv, senza sapere che è la figlia di Mango, perché si era presentata solo con il suo nome Angelina), ho detto che avrebbe vinto. E infatti 8 mesi dopo (l'ho seguita tutti i giorni) ha vinto "Amici" e poi è andata al festival di San Remo e ha vinto. E ora All'Eurovision tra 26 cantanti (molti già molto conosciuti e famosi da tanti anni), è arrivata 7° (a solo 10 punti dal 6°)! Lei così piccola e conosciuta da poco più di un anno, arrivare già così lontano e in alto è un orgoglio! Lei mi è entrata nel cuore dal primo momento...... è la mia cucciola...... e sono sicura che arriverà molto lontano e molto in alto! Le auguro di cuore un futuro radioso e di raggiungere tutti i suoi sogni e oltre!
Seguitela! Lei è bella, "pulita" di cuore e di azioni, è gioiosa! E mette il cuore in ciò che fa!
Una volta, durante la trasmissione "Amici", Maria de Filippi le chiese: "Come mai metti una attenzione incredibile nel preparare le tue performance, provando e riprovando fino allo sfinimento?" Angelina le rispose: "Chi mi guarda, chi mi segue, dedica il suo tempo per guardare, seguire, ascoltarmi. Quindi io devo a loro tutta la mia preparazione e attenzione per ripagare e ringraziare queste persone del loro tempo che mi hanno dedicato e, per chi mi segue, del loro affetto per me! E regalare loro un'emozione, trasmettere loro ciò che ho nel cuore! " Maria rimase molto stupita e colpita e disse che il suo non è un comportamento da tutti i cantanti, anzi tutt'altro! Questa è Angelina: Tanta umiltà, cuore, passione e gioia!

Che to dico a fà is one of her song's title. It's a Roman expression and the pronunciation of the Word "Che" goes like the sound of the lettera K!
Her late father 'Mango' was also a famous singer. In fact during Sanremo festival she also performed a rendition of one of her father's most famous songs, accompanied by the recorded vocals of her father. Very emotional.
In Sanremo have 45 components of orchestra. Absolutly all live, song and. music. Without dancer, only singers. We love Angelina, thank you for your reaction

@@DaneBramageROCKS It's the Teatro Ariston in Sanremo, where this old singing competition in Italy performs from 1977, after being held at the Casino of Sanremo starting from 1951. This is the competition that inspired the Eurovision song contest, previously called Eurofestival. In fact, Eurovision started in 1957. Sergio Pugliese, an italian TV producer and journalist, had the idea to propose to the European Broadcasting Union (EBU) to use a singing competition to re-establish a good spirit between European countries divided and thorn in pieces after the 2nd world war. The Teatro Ariston is quite small for such TV production. But it's iconic and the RAI production (Italian TV) is strieving each year to produce it flawlessly. The set design each year is taking up more space from the ground floor. Reducing the number of live audience. Sanremo is in Italy, in Liguria region (Genova is the capital of Liguria) and is close to Nice in France. The festival lasts 5 days from tuesday to saturday evening. From 8:45pm to around 1 or 2:30am. It's a long show. This year there were 30 songs.

@@DaneBramageROCKS you are actually one of the very few that do reactions that also research a little about the artist involved. But you missed the fact her father Pino Mango also was a very famous and talented italian songwriter and singer (her mother, Laura Valente, also was a famous singer of the band Matia Bazar).
He passed away in 2014, and Angelina's closing performance in Sanremo was a tribute to his dad. She sang one of his best song "La rondine" in a way words just can't explain. Goosebumps.

Angelina is the daughter of two famous singers in Italy from the 80s. Maybe this is the reason why she is so confortable on the stage. Her father's name was Mango. He passed away some years ago. Her mother sang in a band called Matia Bazar. I definitively love her!

Grazie, reaction super super!👍 Angelina è meravigliosa sia come cantautrice sia come persona. Questo brano è autobiografico, (la noia è una forma di depressione) descrive tutti i traumi che ha dovuto affrontare quando aveva 12 anni e suo padre (Pino Mango artista straordinario per noi italiani) per un infarto è mancato mentre si esibiva in un concerto e lei era lì presente. Nelle 5 serate del festival di Sanremo una serata è dedicata alle cover, Angelina ha scelto di cantare un brano di suo padre (la rondine), lei e suo fratello lo hanno riarrangiato, brividi immensi per l'interpretazione. actually the third or fourth result when searching it on youtube shows the full song plus some commentary in italian beforehand that you can skip! it's about 8 minutes long and the title is in italian so it should be relatively easy to spot:)

To your point about the orchestra - Italy's selection (Sanremo) is an event in and of itself, and uses a live orchestra for a full week's worth of artist's performances. You're correct about only 6 on stage at Eurovision itself, which does not have a live orchestra (it used to back in the day but logisitically it just doesn't work these days)

@@DaneBramageROCKS yes the Sanremo orchestra is famous, the entire Sanremo festival is amazing where 30 different artists, from newer to the legends of Italian music come and premier their best new song for the year. There were 30 great songs presented for a whole week and Angelina won this year.

The Sanremo Festival born in 1950 and is the oldest Music festival in the world. The Eurovision song contest was born 6 years late 1956 .Was an idea of Italian TV and radio presenter of RAI Italian national tv mr Sergio Pugliese who contact European Union to have something similar to Sanremo festival brodcasted from all the european national tv`s. The first edition had only 7 countries Italy Germany France Belgium Luxembourg Nedherland and Swisse. The Italian festival has orchestra but in the past sometimes they played playback. All the song are arrenged with orchestra even if is a rap song . For Eurovision song contest only 6 people can go on stage but normaly all play live with music base

Sanremo's signature feature are the following: the amazing flowers from Liguria, the "Ariston" theatre and - most of all - the unparalleled RAI ORCHESTRA, the national TV official orchestra, which plays in full swing during Sanremo. The RAI Orchestra components are stars in their own right and amazing musicians, selected among the finest and very best in Italy (e.g. Elena Majoni, Laura Marzadori, etc.)

Dando una definizione sommaria: la cumbia è un genere musicale popolare colombiano e panamense, contaminato dalle culture africana, indigena e bianca, parente di salsa, rumba, mango e merengue. Sul Diccionario de la Real Academia de la Lengua, la definizione di cumbia è invece “Danza de la Guinea Ecuatorial” (Danza della Guina Equatoriale) e “Son de esta danza” (“Suono di questa danza”).
L’unica certezza è che cumbia è una parola di denominazione africana: in molte lingue locali la parola kumb significa suono, rumore e fa riferimento ai suoni e ai rumori che gli schiavi producevano durante il lavoro nelle piantagioni della Colombia coloniale. CUMBIA DELLA NOIA TOTAL = DANCE OF TOTAL BOREDOM la cumbia, in questo caso è direttamente collegata alla noia, come spiega la stessa cantante:

Hi Dane, I come from Serbia, the country of great Djokovic, but I love Italy and Italian music. That what you say that the sound recalls to a Salsa is partially true, all the southern territories of Italy were under Spanish government for three centuries, so all these rhythm are fully Italian style and not an imitation of any other style. Also music from Naples resemble to Moroccan and African rhythms. So I think this song will win at next Eurovision 🎉

In the word "Mango" the "a" is not pronounced "ae" in Italian, but as the "u" of "uncle" would be pronounced. It's not "Maengo" but "Mungo"
