We just back from Seahouses on Northumbria coast, next to Bamburgh with the castle which is superb, great beach and beautiful place to tour with your van, cross the causeway to Lindisfarne and not far along road to Alnwick, you would love it 🌊
I did that tour in 1996! Absolutely fascinating Viking history. It was so memorable. We got stuck on the causeway for quite some time. Lindisfarne Mead kept us warm during cold rainy nights camping. It is a beautiful place to visit It was my first visit to the NE. 😊

I went Alnwick castle last year they filmed the Harry Potter movie chamber of secrets and downton abbey there as well in there well some scenes there lovely castle been there myself we drove up from Essex to Northumberland and was going into Scotland 🏴 but a great place to visit is bamburgh castle and recommend holy island if you have time to visit that way, I went that way and went up to Edinburgh and Berwick upon tweed , also seahouses I highly recommend to Visit. Also the Percy family live in Alnwick castle right now they tell you that you only see inside one half of the castle. Also in Alnwick is the Alnwick gardens as well next to the castle as well. If you are heading down the south east where I live towards north-folk I recommend visiting bury st. Edmund’s in Suffolk beautiful town to visit and Colchester as well in Essex highly recommended town to visit on the border to Suffolk and Tiptree tea rooms in tiptree Essex close to where I live and right near the border for Suffolk and witham Essex is a nice town as well . Also saffron warden is lovely town and a nice market town as well like bury st Edmund’s is the same in Suffolk if you don’t know where to visit and avoid clacton is not very nice . Also manningtree is nice as well Mersea island as well in Essex which has a causeway you may have to check the times for the causeway as I live in billlericay Essex and I know Essex and Suffolk well if you need places to go and in Norfolk I been to kings Lynn it as alright and visit sandringham castle 🏰 if you close by I been there it just outside kings Lynn and Great Yarmouth as well
If you need to colour the side trims and bumpers use Cherry Blossom Black shoe polish. My son did his old VW T4 and it looked amazing. Very cost effective too.

I live in southeast Northumberland, and my personal favourite place to visit is Alnmouth. Make sure you get on the A1068 coastal road, it finishes in Alnwick after passing through Duridge Bay, Amble, Warkworth, and Almouth, all good places to have a wander. Another great hidden gem is Low Newton. Actually there's loads so I'll stop now lol.

It could be a good idea to keep a eye on water in the passenger well, I had it on one of my vans and it was the heater matrix. It was expensive to replace as the whole dash had to come out.
If coming up north try our home town South Shields. We have a beautiful costal walk up to Sunderland and a mile of Indian restaurants on Ocean Rd. The best fish and chips # Colemans seafood temple. A caravan park opposite North Sea. Beautiful parks and my friends ice cream kiosk Toney Minchella @ Haven Point xx
Enjoy Durham we have some fabulous places to visit and there are some beautiful places to stay. The Northumberland coast line is lovely. We were at Bamburgh just before Easter. It was cold but dry. There is a carpark beside Bamburgh castle that you can stay overnight.
Hey Guys, if you are coming south try and visit Lulworth cove and Durdle Door absolutely stunning,there are some beautiful walks and scenery and there is a camp site for vans etc love watching your vlogs ,been watching you guys for years now!❤
My Auntie and Uncle and my cousins live in Newcastle. We went to Alnwick and Bamburgh castles last year when we were on holiday last year in the Scottish Borders. Hopefully you might stop off in Portsmouth on your way along the south coast to Eastbourne 😀

Alnwick Castle. Alnwick is pronounced Anik. Leigh visit Barter books in Alnwick its in the old railway station where there is a wonderful collection of old books to buy plus more newer issues. Nice cafe. Also you might like to a drive further up the Northumberland coast to Bamburgh. . Bamburgh has a fantastic castle right on the coast and plenty of sites to set up along that route. Plus lots of other castles, places of interest, walking routes lots of castles and nice places to eat. Enjoy x

Grated cheese is good unopened till the best before date. Once opened they say on the packet to use within normally 5-7 days.

You will love all the bridges along the key side at Newcastle.visit the angel of the north and beamish museum is a must.

Campsite at Tees Barrage is canny for a night if you are heading north. Nice walks around the Barrage.

Try doing a cheese toastie in the air fryer 😊 Butter the bread either side, fill it with cheese and put on 190 for 5 mins and flip over and do again 😎

You can use a regular iron to laminate just put a tea towel on top while you do it .
