Looks nice with the original hair reattached. Locs are amazing! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 All hair is “dead” hair once it grows out the scalp. The bulb hair follicle is the live part. That’s why it hurts when you yank a hair out at the root, but you can cut the rest of length at will painlessly. 😉👍🏾 Beautiful ombré look!

Came out so great! Do you find that sometimes the hair jewelry causes some thin spots? I found mostly where I had the hair jewelry at, my hair was extremely thin. So now I add it for that day per se and take it out at nite.

Excellent job hun❣️ I am currently growing out my side cut to reattach my locs… I was planning on going to a specialist because it just seems too time consuming and I don’t really know what I’m doing (although, I have successfully attached one of my youngest daughter’s locs several months ago). I’ll be sure to checkout that channel you referenced to see if I am willing to rearrange them myself!

I must say, you did a good job. I got mines done professionally two years ago and paid close to ,$ 1,700 for 16" locs at a place called napp star here in NY.
That said, you saved urself a lot of money. I still have to access my locs for weak spots but that's just the nature of having locs in general extensions or not.
Girllll ... im sure it was worth the price tho! At some point I wish I could just do the same. You're so right about everyone having to deal with the same weak spots and so forth. ❤️

In South Africa, if you have long locs walking in the city center areas you should be careful because its a trend to cut peoples locs to use as extensions 😭
