Easily one of my favorite players in the NFL, as a Vikings fan it pisses me off that they don't even try to use him but he's been putting in work this offseason and hopefully that pays off
6'3 returning kicks to the house. what talent. you usually dont see those long long strides make those kind of cuts in tight space compaired to the shorter returners these days
His vison is the best I have ever seen, combine that with speed he has, no wonder this guy is a beast....God given talent, you can teach how to read blocks and use your vision but,not like this his was God sent...made defense look useless, even Alabama was using angles to corrale him....
Cp just never been had his time to shine my boy gotta ring thoe and fashoe going to the hof as a return specialist cp the truth give that man his flowers 🌺
Patterson was great at Tennessee. On a related note, any unbiased eye has to admit that Bray had one of the best arms to ever throw for Tennessee. He had a lot of faults, but pure gun-slingery wasn't one of them.
This guy is electrifying!! Has the most deadly cuts I have ever seen. Great vision and always seems to make something out of nothing. Plus he played in the SEC where he was by o mean playing some chumps. Going to be exciting to watch. Too bad the Bears aren't in need of a WR in the first round, or I would love to get this guy!
What ball carrier vision, just breathtaking... Not sure if his back & forth -type of running will give him as much success in the NFL, but he's certainly got great body control.
Damn he is GOOD! O my gosh.. how come he didn't have much highlights coming on the television? Where was I? He deserve to be draft in the first round. And damn, nice highlight! This is the best one I've seen so far in a while. No crappy music, just HIGHLIGHT. Learn from this video guys.
+Nathan Manies yeah what're you talking about, they're are using him exactly how they should be. He cant run routes for shit they can basically only use him in the slot and in the backfield which they do from time to time. He is a great kick returner because he's amazing in the open field, needs to work on his routes
He has to decide he wants to be a receiver and not just a return man, and he's doing that this season with the reality check that his contract is up after this next season. I can't wait to see him step it up and become elite this next year.
If he gets his routes and cuts down, and starts catching like he did in college, hes gonna be a GIANT weapon this season, literally and figuratively. When you're a receiver as big, strong, and fast as Patterson, if you can get open there is no reason he can't be elite. I really hope he steps it up.
Patterson will take the NFL by storm, he will be the least of every other teams worries, will have single coverage every snap, should put up great rookie numbers
After watching so interviews of him during the rookie camps in Minnesota, it seems to be that he is really grasping the playbook well. George Stewart and him have multiple extra practices and film sessions every week to get him up to snuff on his techniques. They also have him next to greg Jennings locker, and he and cris carter also have some sessions with him every week. This kid is going to have the best chance out of any receiver to do well, his tutors are an all star cast!!!
This kid has a chance to really be something special. People saying that he cant be an elite receiver in the nfl need to get a clue. Kid put up good numbers his first year at a major program and playing in the SEC. It is way too early to say he is going to be a stud or that he is never going to be elite. This kid has all of the physical tools to be a superstar in the NFL. All he has to do is improve his route running (helps learning from Greg Jennings), and improve his hands.
This is awesome. Great upload! Patterson is going to take advantage of these new rules in the NFL protecting receivers more and more, and he will develop into a very dangerous weapon. Great pick by Minnesota.
How many times did u see him celabrate In that highlight ?? That's what Ii like about him Sportsmanship along with skill and natural talent and hard work #84 good luck bro
All these great highlights, whats the one thing I noticed? He hands the ball to the ref every time he scores. He doesn't seem to be a hot head like Percy. So glad hes a Viking. #84 is BACK! I know he will live up to that number much better than Jenkins did.
Patterson is by far the best prospect in this years draft !!!! He Fights for every yard !!! He has heart and vision i love tavon austin too but Patterson is ridiculous
Only criticism is his rout running, but with the best rout runner in the NFL today mentoring him, the sky is the limit. Jennings, Patterson, Wright and Rudolph. Throw in a little Peterson and that's one hell of an offense. No excuses this year for Ponder!
As a Vols fan I hope CP does great in the NFL, is smart with his money, keeps his nose clean and retires healthy. I also hope he ends up on my raiders but that aint happening. Sure made a bad season exciting watching him and bray hook em up!
man i hope ponder doesnt mess this up he has EVERYTHING a quaterback could ever want a great, hall of fame wide receiver, one of the best running backs of all time a average o-line, good tight end rudolf , and what looks to be another good wide receiver patterson
The thing I like most is that he has the affordance to sit back learn from Cris Carter, Greg Jennings, and Coach Stew because he doesnt have to come in and be the "guy". Rudolph, Simpson, and Jarius will have bigger roles in the pass game and they can bring him in and he can still impact as a return man. And hopefully by the end of the year he can step in and impact our passing game late. This is a great pick if he hits, he has to work hard tho. Great job Spielman
What a draft for the Vikings... Cordarrelle paired with All Day and Sharrif Floyd paired with Jared Allen and Kevin Williams is unbelievable. If only Ponder could learn to throw..
I don't care want the media or the naysayers naysay, This guy is Percy Harvin without the migraines. Strong, fast, and mutli-talented(KR, PR, WR, RB, QB).
Awesome choice, we got the needs filled all in the first round with talented players said to be High picks. I am exited for the vikings and can't wait for the season now.
His yards per catch, yards per rush, yards per kick return, and yards per punt return were all higher than Tavon Austin's. Austin gets more touches as a slot guy. They should both be stellar.
I am very stoked that the Vikes were able to snag CP. Very clearly a gifted athlete. I do worry a bit about his football fundamentals. He catches w/ his body on some plays or he start running east/west in the middle of running or oven starts running backwards. This may work at the collegiate level but will get you killed in the pros. I'm sure he'll work out fine, but he does need a bit of work. Can't wait to see him return kicks!
as a Tennessee fan, I assure you that was primarily on our former coach, bless his heart, that was simply out of his league in the SEC. Bray always played well against poor teams. Good teams could defend the pass and stop our sorry excuse for a running game. Patterson is going to be awesome.
Travon Austin will be a great punt rturner and kick off returner in the NFL ..He reminds me of the wideout Gist of the 49ers it took him years to become a complete NFL wideout ..
what a dynamic players. brings so many different things to the feild. has the jump ball, quick route agility and acceleration out of the cuts, and vision after the catch. do i have to mention speed?
Easily one of my favorite players in the NFL, as a Vikings fan it pisses me off that they don't even try to use him but he's been putting in work this offseason and hopefully that pays off
CP is a freak. Best athlete i've seen at UT in a long time. Only rivaled by Eric Berry. GO VOLS!
Did you watch watch yesterday gane Calloway played against him
6'3 returning kicks to the house. what talent. you usually dont see those long long strides make those kind of cuts in tight space compaired to the shorter returners these days
Kid is sick... that lateral quickness and vision reminds me of Reggie Bush (while at USC), but with #1 WR size and skills.
Great Video. No shit music, as described nothing but highlights. 10/10 would watch again.
One of the most exciting players I’ve ever seen play, I watch this video a couple times a year to remind myself
His vison is the best I have ever seen, combine that with speed he has, no wonder this guy is a beast....God given talent, you can teach how to read blocks and use your vision but,not like this his was God sent...made defense look useless, even Alabama was using angles to corrale him....
@@hb6-s9m yup
Somehow it took Arthur Smith to figure this out. CPat is everything you saw back then.
Facts ^
He was fun to watch this past year. Y'all are in for a treat! Treat him well he's a heck of a guy. #VFL
Cp just never been had his time to shine my boy gotta ring thoe and fashoe going to the hof as a return specialist cp the truth give that man his flowers 🌺
Welcome to MN kid can't wait to see you play this year!
Wow he can stop on a dime and then quickly start again
Those moves helped him become an alltime great Return man
This boy has the best big play ability I have seen in a while.
I love the way he changes directions
Patterson was great at Tennessee.
On a related note, any unbiased eye has to admit that Bray had one of the best arms to ever throw for Tennessee. He had a lot of faults, but pure gun-slingery wasn't one of them.
Jeff Smith Tyler bray is on the top 5 list of worst things to happen to TN football
He still does in the NFL, coaches just don't like his rebel attitude
@@bIgJmAc6066 spoken like a true dumbass
everybody was always focused on tavon austin or de'anthony thomas but this guys a beast
Man, I wish we could have had him for one more year
I don't think I've ever seen a WR run harder than Percy Harvin but this guy has some great cuts and speed! Its gonna be fun to watch him develop!
The way he runs and cuts with the angles that he does is amazing
This guy is electrifying!! Has the most deadly cuts I have ever seen. Great vision and always seems to make something out of nothing. Plus he played in the SEC where he was by o mean playing some chumps. Going to be exciting to watch. Too bad the Bears aren't in need of a WR in the first round, or I would love to get this guy!
It's as if Johnny Manziel was a wide receiver. This guy has amazing vision, athleticism, & elusiveness.
It's as if Percy Harvin were 4 inches taller
+WDBIIITV johnny manziel is a bust
+WDBIIITV No, it's as if Patterson was a quarterback, if comparing him and Manziel. Patterson came first
L
Wow this dude is an absolute beast! What a great draft for minnesota!
1.22 is unbelievable! I've never seen a player stop and reverse that quickly.
this kid is so fun to watch, ima vols fan.and every week he made 2 or 3 plays that made u go WOW
As a huge Vikings fan I didnt know anything about this guy but after doing some research and seeing some videos I am stoked! Awesome open field vision
God watching this video makes me realize how the Vikings are misusing him
+Nathan Manies These college gimmick plays don't work in the NFL. DB's play tighter, and his route running is awful.
+EMPiiRE™ I guess
+Nathan Manies yeah what're you talking about, they're are using him exactly how they should be. Falcons are doing right by him
Apparently these OTAs he has looked very good. Boy I hope he can be a game changer when used to his full potential
If he gets his routes and cuts down, and starts catching like he did in college, hes gonna be a GIANT weapon this season, literally and figuratively. When you're a receiver as big, strong, and fast as Patterson, if you can get open there is no reason he can't be elite. I really hope he steps it up.
His burst of speed after his cuts are best I've seen in awhile along his his angles wow
Absolutely electrifying. That kid is going to be big time.
This dude was a threat to house it everytime he touched the ball.
I love all 3 of the first round draft picks. I'm pumped to watch cordarrelle
This guy does it all! totally worth the trade. Here to a great career in Minnesota!
Amazing vision and awareness. Im Definetly going to draft him.
6:21 is my favorite highlight. Shows that all the "experts" who thought he had bad hands were very wrong.
Patterson will take the NFL by storm, he will be the least of every other teams worries, will have single coverage every snap, should put up great rookie numbers

I like his vision in the open field...can't wait for the season
I watched all of Harvins highlights but now that hes gone its time to watch all of Pattersons!
Wow.. he's got some field vision.. those are some crazy cuts!
20/20 vision sir thank you very much...
he can do all harvin can. he just wowed me. we will look good this year.
This is awesome. Great upload! Patterson is going to take advantage of these new rules in the NFL protecting receivers more and more, and he will develop into a very dangerous weapon. Great pick by Minnesota.
This aged well
On the money with this one
Cam x Patterson will go down as the best duo! make this happen.
His change of direction has always been elite level 🫡🔥🔥
Excited to watch him in the purple and gold!
Welcome Mr. Patterson. You will do well as a MN Viking. Looking forward to watching...
This guy is gonna be so fun to watch. Hes soo squirrely running all over the field juking tackles.
How many times did u see him celabrate In that highlight ?? That's what Ii like about him Sportsmanship along with skill and natural talent and hard work #84 good luck bro

#84 is BACK! I know he will live up to that number much better than Jenkins did.
Dude can stop on a dime and still have change! Dang!
Patterson! im so glad nd PROUD the Vikes chose him
The good thing is that he'll get back up, and make a big play. He's going to be a solid WR.
Patterson is by far the best prospect in this years draft !!!! He Fights for every yard !!! He has heart and vision i love tavon austin too but Patterson is ridiculous
Tannehill likes to throw it deep and with a receiving core like that man I cant wait to see it
Cordarrelle really should be the first WR taken. Patterson and Swope are my two favorite WR's in the draft this year.
i havnt even got to the end of the video and im on my 3rd comment, this guy is unbeilevable.. clearly this is my first time seeing this guy.
I picked him up on the 3red round for my fantasy team, hope he has a great year.
im going to be very excited to see patterson develop, with peterson, simpson, and jennings our offence should be exciting
Imagine him in today’s offense Oml he would be electric
Hit it on the head
Only criticism is his rout running, but with the best rout runner in the NFL today mentoring him, the sky is the limit. Jennings, Patterson, Wright and Rudolph. Throw in a little Peterson and that's one hell of an offense. No excuses this year for Ponder!
CP looks a lot like you know who it gives me chills!!! Gots his number also I here .... Skol!!!!!
Raider Nation is So Happy to Have Him!!!
i cud just only imagine the greatness hym & rg3 could create:( smh jst a dream
he has a mean cut, he stops hard then picks up speed like no other.
As a Vols fan I hope CP does great in the NFL, is smart with his money, keeps his nose clean and retires healthy. I also hope he ends up on my raiders but that aint happening. Sure made a bad season exciting watching him and bray hook em up!

Amazing Draft the Vikings had yesterday. Weight shifts on Ponder now, hope he steps up.
The thing I like most is that he has the affordance to sit back learn from Cris Carter, Greg Jennings, and Coach Stew because he doesnt have to come in and be the "guy". a healthy bit of pride, an overdose of talent. SKOL!!!
This guy is so explosive! He and Jennings will be a huge upgrade to the Vikings receiving corps. Skol Vikes!
That was a bold trade, giving away are 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 7th round picks. But this guys a star.
that's exactly what I was thinking. He's a big target, and has great hands.
Going to Miami. Nasty WR core going to be in South beach this year!!
It would have been nice to see him stay one more year. He will be missed. Good luck CP.
Wow. I like this kid he sure can ball.
What a draft for the Vikings... Cordarrelle paired with All Day and Sharrif Floyd paired with Jared Allen and Kevin Williams is unbelievable. If only Ponder could learn to throw..
thank you, I wasn't even comparing them I was just saying it was similar and the qbs themselves are not exactly hof material.
I really like him a lot. He has a knack of making defenders miss. If only my Pats had drafted him...sigh. Nicely done, Vikings!
Can't wait for the season to start
I don't care want the media or the naysayers naysay, This guy is Percy Harvin without the migraines. Strong, fast, and mutli-talented(KR, PR, WR, RB, QB).
i hope so we need him!
damn!! we needed that guy for the jets
Open field talent is something nice man.
So exciting to watch

Cordell Patterson is the best wide receiver ever!!!
You make good vids keep it up
Demaryius Thomas is working his way up fast, top 10 receiver right now
as a Tennessee fan, I assure you that was primarily on our former coach, bless his heart, that was simply out of his league in the SEC. Bray always played well against poor teams. Good teams could defend the pass and stop our sorry excuse for a running game. Patterson is going to be awesome.

I'm a Vols fan and a Vikings fan. What more could I want right now?
good luck to him in his career I really wish the Colts would draft him with the 24 th pick in the 1st round
exactly what i was thinking for next draft
Wow a beast after the catch!!
what a dynamic players. brings so many different things to the feild. has the jump ball, quick route agility and acceleration out of the cuts, and vision after the catch. do i have to mention speed?
He looks like the Fran Tarkenton of wide receivers the way he runs all over to dodge tackles. He needs to be a Viking!
