Good information. Thanks for the content. I think I’ll do that also. My lemon tree is just starting to produce some lemons in November, my mango tree hasn’t did anything. Lost a lot of my fruit trees and grapes during the storm of the hurricane and a tornado in May, I’m in 9B. I’m having a problem with my fig trees they have figs, they are not turning ripe . Do you have any advice? Need to know what is going on, why the trees are not turning ripe. Thanks for the information.
@JackieCreeks - figs are susceptible to stress , which can be from high heat or too cool soil temperatures. When it’s really hit, you have to ensure you are giving them enough water. If your trees are full of figs, make sure they are getting water and they should start to ripen as the weather cools down. Also, figs ripen at different times of the year depending on the variety. Don’t give up on them! Fig trees are resilient! I’m sorry to read you lost so much food during the storms, but I’m glad you made it through them safely! Thanks for watching! 😀🤗
Thank you, yes I made it, the garden and yard can be replace. God is blessing me with that. Redesigning the layout of the garden is turning out to be fun. I didn’t know that figs become ripen with cool weather. I grew up with a Fig tree as a little girl, but I remember picking them in the summer. That’s why I couldn’t figure out why they was not ripping. Thanks for the information I will give them more water. Happy Gardening.
Yes, some varieties will ripen in cooler weather, even though they are late summer early fall fruits. I hope you get some early Spring crops before your main crops come in.😀
It’s a mandarin orange and they are sweet and delicious! You should get a tree for your garden. If you like oranges, you will like a satsuma. It’s satsuma season. Go to a farmers market and buy a couple to try. Thanks for watching! 😀🤗
@BrokeFarmer, yes, they are! Do any of yours get to this size? I’ve never known them to do so. I hardly fertilize or feed my trees so I was surprised to see this. 😱
Team replay! Your orchard is so beautiful and healthy looking. Keep up the good work because it looks like you found the secret recipe for them.
I’m really happy with my citrus this year, thanks! 😊 Thank you for watching, I appreciate your support! 😀🤗

Hey, I don't even know what a satsuma is. Is it an orange or tangerine?
