I seriously dont get the attraction to no prep racing it looks fun if you have a cheap ass build thats what its for so slower cars on a budget can compete in racing then you get these nice expensive cars going to these and wrecking lol i got 75k in my nova you got me fucked up if you think im taking my car to a no prep event

How is the track tearing up cars? I thought no prep was so you’d have to read and tune to the surface. If a guy misses the tune and fails to list that isn’t the tracks fault

Splitting the money up like that doesn't hurt the overall purse that much...as far as the wrecks, some of these guys need to learn how to get back in it after you get loose or pull a wheelie. Why stab it back on like that? You obviously didn't have it hooked up to begin with or you wouldn't have had to get out of it. A little restraint here would go along ways.

Superb job on the video, G2K. Chilly 55º night (south Florida!), sketchy track (by design), many drivers were able get from A to B in spectacular style. Cars were broken but all drivers seemed rather safe. I was there!
From the beginning I thought the guy who took 2nd in small tire was gonna win it. He was putting nice clean passes in all night. He should’ve swung for it in the final.
Don't see much no prep in FL.. You can tell in the first couple rounds a lot of guys were inexperienced with that type of surface.. Getting down early on a bare strip is soo much different than the fly traps you usually see in FL takes a lot more than tuning to get down the track, many suspension changes are needed.. Some know what needs done, some just pull timing & boost..
Ridiculous.....I've been racing on the track and street since 1969.......why would you even take these chances of harming ones self or destroying your years of work projects on no preps....10k payday isn't worth the 125k I have in my present car and some of these guys out here have dropped some serious skins in their rides........and my pride and joy I've had for 44 years....original 64 Thunderbolt I purchased from Phil Bonner.....forget that....lol....to each their own.....Peace
dang I’ve heard of no prep but this track doesn’t appear to have ever had prep. I think the only car I seen so far they went straight. What is a Lil white fart can 😂 there was a lot of underwear being changed on that day. makes for some good content.

Brandon could have saved it by throwing the chutes that was a nice car hate to see it tore up like that. This guys need to learn how to use all of the tools in the tool box. The all of chutes on the car to look cool I guess, always pull the chute at the end because that is the worst place for traction. The only guy I seen that did it right in this whole video was the red mustang on his bye run at 14:28 in the video. Thanks for sharing good video.
Great racing! That track trying to turn the area into a salvage yard though! As much as I love the old Nova's and Chevelle's though, its kind of heartbreaking to see them out there cut up. Then again, Its pretty much the same thing we did back in the day. The only difference is that back in the early to mid 80's, I could pick up a 72 Chevelle or a 69 Nova for just a few hundred bucks!
Is there a bump in the middle of the track or was there just a lot of dust/dirt outside of the black line? What was causing so many cars to get that out of hand? I understand it’s no prep racing, but we don’t even see that many cars running on a road get that out of shape.

Tailgate with the s10, got beat in the nova after it didn't shift. But he followed up by winning at showtime in the nova the next day.
