    What makes him one of the kind is his amazing footwork, probably on par with RSM.

    超喜歡看王建軍打球~
    直拍全場跳躍奔跑.
    套一句廣告台詞.他就是,~
    勁量電池.永遠不會累,!
    只可惜他與馬琳的決賽.
    被超大逆轉而敗北...

    Wang was originally a cpen player, and was asked to be the RSM clone for CNT, so he switched. Also, he almost won against Ma Lin in the CNT Trials, which was to decide who goes to the WTTC. He was leading 10-3, but lost the game. After many years, he switched back because he no longer needs to be the RSM clone.

    Wang Jian Jun used c-pen first, but switched to j-pen for some years to imitate Ryu Seung Min in training after he won the Olympics. Later, he switched back to the chinese style

      是的。不过王建军的打法和特点确实有点像韩国日选手。他是我非常喜欢的一个球手,也曾经打进过全国锦标赛男单决赛,要知道中国全国锦标赛的技术水平不会比世锦赛差。

      And 2:05. It illustrates my claim that traditional one-side is quite suitable for bh attack. They just stopped developing it.

    • @pianotrainee9314
      @pianotrainee9314 7 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      tubeist- dan Yes, very powerful backhand, though I'd say it can be really hard to use such type of bh attack consistently - the wrist motion is so uneasy

    • @-danR
      @-danR 7 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      I agree it can be difficult for the wrist of players of Wang's height, but even there, what a _stunning_ shot is possible. I played in the 70's when there were lots of penholders, and saw such shots; but very few of them then, and fewer now, actually train to amplify and perfect the bh as a deadly point-winner.
      For Ryu, taller, the shot is quite easy, but neither did he want to work on it. It is in the blood for a trad. ph to look for the forehand shot. People and coaches just have to change their thinking.

      Christoph Grambach He's using a Japanese style blade with the traditional backhand in the first part of the video. In the second part, he's using a Chinese style blade with rubber on both sides, so he can perform RPB (Reverse Penhold Backhand).

      @@Hin-yi6gw Jpen paddle is quite thick and big so it is not as agile as Cpen in changing hand gestures.

    • @Hin-yi6gw
      @Hin-yi6gw 6 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes, it is not as agile as Cpen, but for a different reason. When having rubber on the RPB side on Jpen, we still rest the fingers on the blade, not on the rubber. And consider we usually rest our fingers on the rubber on Cpen, the total thicknesses are about the same. Also, Jpen are generally taller but also narrower, so the size is about the same. The main difference is that the center of mass is more towards the end of the bat on Jpen, and that's what makes the Jpen not as flexible as Cpen and harder to stabilise the bat angle.

    which c-pen blade + rubber?

    • @wingtolau6553
      @wingtolau6553 7 ปีที่แล้ว

      C-pen has the shortest of all blade handles but the blade is round just like a shake hand blade. Some penholders put another rubber with different color (by rule) to the other side for reverse penhold backhand (RPB) playing style to upgrade/improve/reinforce their backhand performance.
