Superb singing. She has to be one of the top female singers in India. Her control of notes, voice and pronunciation is impeccable. I’m sure Urdu is not her first language but the way she delivers those Urdu words is commendable and gives extra beauty to the song.

P.S-I know this performance is with an autotune! What I am trying to say is there are many videos of her singing live without any mixing or autotune, she still sounds angelic. There are many artists whose songs are good because of autotune etc she is a natural her voice is unique with or without an autotune

Auto tune is not common in India. Professional singers can actually sing live.
She is awesome. One of my favourate but here vocal effects have been used and she is not singing live. Its a lip sync

In terms of vocal range, there are others who can hit notes up to 8th octave. Shreya’s range is Light-lyric soprano, C3-C#6-A6, Supported range: Eb3/F3-C#6. She can go up to C#6 but do you know there are singers who can go up to 7th or 8th Octaves. The Guinness record holder (Tim Storms) has 10 octaves range.
- Mariah Carey G2 to G7
- Christina Aguilera E3 to F#7
- Whitney Houston G#2 to G#6
- Çelin Dion G#2 to E6
You see, all these singers have wider vocal range. Shreya has 3.5 octaves and Lata has 4 octaves range whereas Mariah, Christina and Celin Dion have 5 octaves range.
