When I rode the TAT last year, I thought Colorado would be incredible, and it was, but Utah completely blew my mind. Maybe, because I wasn't expecting it to be so great
Thank you! You guys are the best :) Yes I would recommend it if you want a true dual sport or ADV bike. It does everything well! Check out my review video. It's a very special bike and I expect the industry to catch up to it at some point IMO
Pretty sure it was this one www.westwindmoto.com/products/enduro-40-kit It was a solid kit and fit everything I needed for camping. You could go with a Tusk highlander as well. Rackless is the best way to go IMO
I’ve been thinking about getting a Kove 450 for longer trips and using my Husqvarna fe350s for 1-2 day local trips. I want to ride one so bad but with most reviews people seem to really like them. It’s either a Kove 450 or Tenere 700…
I haven’t ridden the tenere but I know it’s gonna be more powerful just because of engine size. I think I’d rather save the money and get Kove myself. But Yamaha makes a good bike! I’m sure if you find a Kove guy in your area he’d let you try it.
Thankyou. That was fantastic. Much respect for your riding skills. Seems like the Kove 450 is indeed a cracking bike? What are your overall thoughts about it?
I’ve gotten this question a lot and I plan to do a video eventually. If I had to pick one I’d pick the Kove if I did more off road. The 390 is smoother and a little better on the road I guess. But the Kove just does everything well.
Thanks. To be honest I’m Not sure, I don’t think so. There are endless trails in Utah but it’s all really the Wasatch mountain range from salt lake and the headed south. We were kinda bushwhacking with no planned route, just picking trails off of the gps that headed in a general direction.
Going South you'll fine a large variety of open roads & trails. But there is private property, so you'll need to use an app or known routes to avoid problems. From Utah County (Kove shop) North, there is more private property and forest ground that you'll need to navigate correctly. @@OffRoadADVRide
When was this recorded? Surprised it's still "hot". How has the overall reliability been on the Kove? Facebook groups seem to mention little to no problems!
i have n ow seen a kove with 5k miles on the clock moving throughout europeland, zero issues and it's been through the shit day after day - many others doing similar but that is the highest mileage for me so far
@@LCARSADV yeah it's nice to hear from someone who has had them, i keep looking at the 450 to go next to my 500 exc but to be used more as a journey machine, that said i do love the idea of the rally for the same job, keep saving cash and see what happens in 2024 🙂

I love Utah. U of U grad. Living in AZ now, but thinking about moving back someday. Part 3?
I would move out there in a second! Part 3 inbound very soon!

How do you feel about your right foot position? That exhaust is totally in way for my heel, I like my toes on pegs and heel dropped a little
The foot position felt completely natural to me similar to a dirt bike, which I loved
