Kuhl pants are so comfortable and tough. I banged my shin on the end of a piece of rebar while wearing the Revolvr pants. My shin was bloodied and banged up. The pants somehow didn't have a mark on them.
Had me at 5.11. Just got a pants because i love the pockets and so far its been fantastic but also just got a sweater on sale as well from Kuhl and now I’m down another rabbit hole.
I've had a pair of these since 2017. I've used them for hiking, shooting, downhill biking. car work, dressy occasions. Rock climbing. I've dropped ketchup on em, wine. Beer. Car Grease. Tree sap. Yet to have a stain somehow. I hate expensive for expensive sake. Im even more mad that these are basically Kuhl's cheapest pants... I still bought 2 more pair for me since I gained a little weight... I hate that they're so expensive, but they're one of the few "rugged" things I've bought thatve held to the claim. Can recommend.
Most of their pants have jumped in price from 79 dollars to over 100. They are good quality, but the price jump is making them considerably less appealing.
Are they worth the money? Definitely YES. I have over 20 pr of Kuhl pants. I found them to be the best pants I’ve ever owned. Many I’ve owned for more than a decade & I rotate them often. They’ve all lasted & remain almost perfect. I wash them in cold water, inside out. I also own Kuhl shirts, sweaters, jackets & hats. I have 1pr of clothing arts anti pickpocket pants & 2 pr of Prana pants. My shoes, sneakers, boots are all Merrell. I do tend to have brand loyalty. Other than not really being true to size, I swear by Kuhl products. I’m almost 78 yrs old & probably have enough Kuhl clothing to last me the rest of my life.
@@mitchellk1269 agree! The pair in this video is still going strong! I have also added a few pairs as well and they are just as good! Very happy with them all.
Did you say you wore 5:11s on a flight deck? I'm looking for tough pants for felling trees but also for tactical applications, flexible, and something that can be worn out and about
Yup. The pants were standard issue my last few years in (5.11 that is). They are ok, but I prefer the Kuhls for sure. They have different “thicknesses” also depending on how “tough “ you want them to be All my Revolvers have held up well.
People complaining about the price are walking contradictions. Did anyone put a gun to your head to buy them? You made the decision that the value proposition is there but you let your selfish instincts win and tell yourself they "really aren't worth THAT much" and it would be "just right" if they were cheaper. They fit well, they look great, they're functional, and they are durable. That's a statistically impossible combination of properties for 99% of clothing brands out there. I bought my first pair for $130 like 3 years ago and they are still amazing. At the time they felt like a splurge but they're still in such great shape, performs like day 1 that I literally have no "needs" base justification for getting another one. At this point it just I want more awesome in my closet.
"Revolver" is as "low end" as kuhl brand gets! As far as kuhl brand goes! It only gets better as you trust the company! They will not fugg you, screw you over or rip you off!!! You are buying top tier, quality products! Thats comming from a customer that has only purchased 3 pairs of 2 styles of 2:09 the best pants, that I have ever purchased!!!
Yeah I can tell you that it's almost certainly BS you're reading online. I've been to a dozen national parks, rugged hikes, gun ranges, camping, fishing, etc and they look and perform like new.
I've had a pair of Renegades for a few years. I use them primarily for parachuting and hiking. I've scraped rocks, slide in on my knees under canopy while landing, and the have held up amazingly.
@@nobody2021- small sample section. I’ve had their Ryders, great pants, asat. I take online forums with a grain of salt. Lots of clueless people posting, not all of them, but common.

They are great! I do wish they were cheaper, but just can’t argue because they last so long.

I've haven't worn jeans since I discovered Renegade Convertibles. Gym, hiking, camping, restaurant with the wife, all purpose pants. Cotton kills.

How do you wash it ? I washed my boyfriend’s RYDR pants and it got all streaky. the pants were black but now they have light brown streaks.
Interesting. I wash mine regularly with all our other stuff. I don’t have any black ones however, so maybe it’s just that color?

@@Antler_addict absolutely agree. Have added a few more pairs since I filmed this and still love them. Thanks for watching
I've read a lot online that pants from this brand are very fragile and fall apart quickly, and the company has basically no customer service
Interesting. I haven’t had to use their customer service, so can’t speak to that, but for me the pants have and still are bulletproof.
