Hasbro just can't compete anymore. This new dart type doesnt do anything a wafflehead cant do at the same fps Speed. They could just as easy make full lengte dart blaster that does 85 fps with a accustrike darts.
I'm not entirely in the camp with the argument that Nerf lost control... so much as they didn't really evolve in a way that could've kept them in competition with... like Henry Ford failed to do, destroying Ford major sales advantage over GM. And while we are the smallest market... we are the biggest buyers of darts buy-in-large... what I would like to know is if they did the numbers on competing with DZ prices for a heavy "Elite 2.0" that was breach compatible and competitively comparable to hobby grade ammo? I still have my doubts they COULDN'T make bank on us still...
About the N-Series dart: I'm coming at this from the POV of someone who organizes Steampunk nerf dueling events. While I supply a few loaner weapons, I always encourage participants to bring their own, and I always tell them their weapons need to be compatible with standard Elite darts because they're available practically everywhere. I don't want to tell them to get N-Series compatible blasters right now because the infrastructure for elite-size darts is still more convenient for these events.

KT, you should be very mad and disappointed about being right about nerf moving on from making even potentially good blasters.

Even at 1.5x speed this podcast has a ton of moments where no one is talking.
