You are correct on that first unknown on the last train. I mainly think it is 7413 because of the old pain scheme. It mainly tells me it is either a 6000 series or a 7000 series.
Seems like you had a great day out there, and glad to see one of the IC Geeps still in her original paint and white stripe on the bottom. Nice catches Tommy
I have been there a couple of times. It seems to me when I was there and from the number of TH-cam videos that CN is the dominant there. CSX locomotives have the best train horns.
+Kirk Lonnquist traffic levels are fairly even here. I think CSX busier more a night, early mornings and evenings, from what I have heard. CN is more spread out but usually you can get a few trains, the CN locals are always moving around the diamond and working in the area.
First unknown for your last train looks like *(5 or 7)413, other unknown for that train is 6716 (the reflective numbers hit some half decent lighting at 16:34). Great catches!
Good stuff. A little word of caution, however. I know the lighting is so much better on the south side of the CSX but you DO NOT - I repeat - do not - want to be there. CSX has an MOW office west of the CN tracks & they reported a friend of mine who had his camera setup in the same spot you were.. CSX PD showed up, handcuffed him, and although he wasn't taken to jail, they wrote him a warning that if he ever steps foot on their property again the results will be ugly.

I was born and raised in Effingham, Illinois. It used to be a small farming town, but has grown considerably in the past 30 years.
