I've run something similar to this and you really nailed the use case for it in this video. I've run it through Wincraps a bunch and over thousands of rolls it falls behind a full-odds strategy pretty heavily, but if you're looking for a short-term thing to run for comps, or just be able to hang around a table for a long time and soak up free drinks while still having decent action, this is a nice, low pressure strategy. Also very good for times when you have to play a little short-stacked -- weekend in Vegas on the Strip, no tables available under $25 minimum and I don't have the bankroll to play Molly with full odds at that level, working a little hedge strategy like this is a good time.
Boarded Navigator of the Seas today for a short 3 night sailing. Testing out the strategy. Session 1: I played at the $50 level and earned 173 points in 1 hour and 2 minutes. After an hour I was down $50 or 1 Unit. (Not including tips, don’t include that in my wins/loss. Session 2: I played at the $100 level for only 18 minutes and went on a good streak, went up $1000 or 10 units and walked away. I managed to earn 97 points in 17 minutes as well. This is definitely not a normal or expected result but I do look forward to testing this strategy more this weekend!
Classic Color Up video. Here's a strat with big win potential. Jeremy: loses half his bankroll Here's a strat where you shouldn't win or lose Jeremy: wins 38% 😂
Thx Jeremy for rolling this Wizard of Odds strategy out. Helpful and useful to me for sure. Here’s why: First I’m Always looking for low vol no matter what. My logic is that all strategies go up and down. So this one is great for getting off after your in the win column. Such as when you rolled 5 or 6 sevens in a row. I’d have quit there and been satisfied with the profit. And since my win goal with low vol strategy is only 10 to 20 percent, I’d play this to try to win a little, build a bankroll and increase my comps. Yep a winner strategy for a guy like me all around. And I can cope and deal with small losses when they happen. Because they WILL happen too!
Love this strategy! I used it this weekend in a small casino in WA. $5 table, got a lot of looks only playing with green chips, ($50 bets). Small win, but hours of fun. I'll use this on my next Vegas trip!
I would say decent strategy, but the fact you rolled so many 7 on come out rolls to get Frontline winners was super lucky. I would like to see follow up end session using this one to get more of a feel for how it will play out...
My method is very safe: #1) start off at a $5 table. Ellis Island has one. Buy in $200. #2) you'll be playing the dark side. #3) $5 Don't pass for the come out; then lay bet $30 for a "No" 6 or 8 to defend against a 7. #4) once a point is established, yank the lay bet, then add minimum lay odds. That's it. It's a long grind, especially "no" 6 or 8 for every come out, then bringing it down after a point is established. As your bank increases lay more odds and/or increase your "no" 6/8 lay. After winning $300, which may take several hours, the player can migrate to a $25 table on the strip. Use the above bet plan only using larger bets. Good luck... All the tight players (El Cortez, Plaza, Ellis Island, Jokers Wild) play this way. Caveat: do not start at a $25 table; start at a $5 table. Be patient. Play tight.
@@gianlucavannutelli7220his bet sizing of lay $30 6 or 8 was too high. If you had a $5 DP you would only need to lay the 6 or 8 for $7. With this strategy I would probably start with $10 DP with $7/7 lay 6 & 8
I play something similar to this but on bubble craps. The pace is way way way faster and you can accumulate a couple hundred dollars in like an hour rather then a few. The only caveat here is you only get 2:1 on your odds bet. I generally play the don't and back up my bet by hopping the seven combinations and play the 11 in the horn on the come out. You don't make as much once a number is established but you don't take a whack right away if the table gets hot and 7s and 11 are popping like the beginning of this video. Sometimes I don't even do it after I've been grinding for a while. I gotta really cold take last night and turned $100 into $750 in a few hours. Now they're we're a few players who got hot and were making a lot of rolls with no 7s coming later on so all you do is check the scene and go with your gut but because I play the dark side, I just pull all my bets when I see that happening. Has 1 guy in so those hours hit 4 points in a row and could have been devastating but I played reserved. I also had made so much I started gambling a little and placing the 6-8 and made some money that way too
Jeremy. Thank you, I used this method at Fremont on a $15 table and rolled 38 times and made everybody lots of colors on their rake. Got a free hat out of it
I think this is a pretty good strat for when you're trying to wait until the dice are in your hand again. Very simple and pretty decent for a choppy table. Though id play an ATS with it cause ya never know when someone hits it big. Also gives you a little more excitement cause... its definitely a boring strategy lol.
Jay Ar, I have high regard for your perspectives on the game. I relate to your proven classic approach and articulate comments. Just a chance to give some appreciation. Thanks.
Hey @color up.. I have a question.. when you talk about seeing how they are rating you to determine your bet size... how exactly do you get that information? Do you ask them, or just ask for comps and see what they say? Thanks for all of your videos.
@arkansasalex7288 one way to ask the pit boss "what's my average bet" That with length of play determines how much comes you'll get. If they are saying your avg is less than your actual bets, call them out on it
I know you’ve compared side by side some strategies to “the standard”… but I’d also enjoy seeing very low volatility strats like this vs a super aggressive strategy
man... i wish i saw some of the rolls you get here... the last 3 trips to the craps tables and i didnt see a roll over 6. Tried going to the dark side and would get sniped... Tables in cleveland are cursed.

I am most curious to compare the pass line Arnold to the don’t pass Arnold side by side. One of the he hedges with the lay 4 or 10 intermittently.
Prolly has very little effect, but would put you in better position in case of the point seven out roll sequence. Which loses both units starting on pass, but would break even if starting on don’t. I think the wizard shows the math both ways
How can I submit a strategy? I have a good one that I've simulated watching over 20 of these videos with all the live rolls, not a high roller strategy but you can bump up the units to make it a higher payout
@ColorUp dice fly off the table with most every shooter. Even I have thrown both off the table. It's a minor pause compared to someone buying in with the puck on!

I would prefer to play don't pass-pass-don't come because on a PSO, I would win two units rather than lose two units. Wanna really have fun? Take and lay max odds on each bet.

If you book a 4-day Vegas vacation, you REALLY don't want to go broke on day 1. The rest of your vacation would be so boring and miserable. Maybe it's a good idea to play low-variance strategies for the first day or two just to make sure your vacation time isn't a boring waste of time.
I'm sorry, you're wrong. The safest betting strategy in craps is to not bet at all. Granted you won't get rated very much, if at all, but you're guaranteed to leave the casino with all the gambling money you walked in with, so long as you don't gamble anywhere else, either. Please accept this free advice from an army of poor former casino dealers like myself who learned this strategy the hard way.

This could be a good cruise strategy.
On PSO , both DP and COME bet win , if you shift that way for alternation .
True. But if starting on pass line you can get multiple wins which is more likely.
