Am glad that u say in the beginning that it's not gonna be competitive or anything. Hurts to see when ppl claim it's the latest greatest thing when it's really just for content. Would hate to see any newer players fall for it, and some actually do. But I do respect your honesty. 👍
Even though there’s not a lot of room, it’s not a bad idea to slot red card in this type of deck, as they can be punished for hoarding cards in hand.

I think kind of deck may be the only legitimate reason to put Red Card in a deck for the Ladder. I am a major Red Card hater, so if I’m saying that, you know it’s major haha. But there’s just not enough room on this deck. and Pokeflutes and Sabrinas are probably gonna have more impact overall, but it is an interesting idea

Instead of Victreebel (which I STILL don't have), I used the other Pidgeot with it's ability Drive Off. Victreebel is probably a little better because you can choose which 'mon is send out. Then again, the downside is that you need it in your Active to work. I did run two Sigi and lately added one Beheeyem to accelerate the cards I needed a bit. I do think that at least one Giovanni in there is insane for stuff like the oneshot on Mewtwo if they have a full bench or the oneshot on Celebi if they are careful not to fill their bench completely. It's not a consistent deck but it's so much fun if it works.
I've tried it with both victreebell and pidgeot and it could go either way. You're right that the benefit to victreebell is that you choose the pokemon, which means you can just pick one to one shot. But you can also only use it on basic pokemon. So if they're all evolved you're SOL

Great combo. Most players only play Victreebel with pokeflute but u included Pidgeot Ex as well. Love it
Been playin this deck for a couple of weeks, when the pieces come together it is amazing! I run a copy of reg pidgeot as well because I love infinite Sabrina.

I've been using Melmetal and Pidgeot X and Pidgeot normal + Druddigon. It has been working nicely

Go try 2x Golem, 2x butterfree, 2x leaf, 2x brock, 2x research, 2x pokeball. It’s super fun if you get it up and running. You can negate 30 damage and heal for 40 damage each turn keeping you almost immune to 70 damage.
i wonder if you could run dual energy and maybe swap a single pokeball for potion or x-speed? 1 pokeball is still good, and caterpie is really nice at finding your cards if your opponent leaves it alone. do you run dual energy? (theoretically it could still work because of brock, it's not actually that horrible even though golem needs 3 fighting energy)

Ive been slamming with a similar deck but instead of the victreebell line, i run 1 drudigon, 2 pidgey ex, 1 pidgeot normal, two chatot. and fighting fire and water energy. It is insanely consistent. run with fossils too to easily discard and shave off deck
I'll say that tcgp has done a good job by not having a ranked ladder, because you can just try out all these fun decks, with no punishment. Even the decks that aren't amazing are fun to play and pull off some goofy wins.
They could simply have separate competitive modes just like amateur and experienced. Your reason to not have ranked is not good
Today I won 4 of 7 games using Celebi's team. Three losses were due to really bad luck; Celebi had 6 coins, all tails.😅
Pidgeot ex seems to work well with a number of pokemon. I've been running it with mythical island ponyta/rapidash.

I have packed multiple of the other EX pokemon but not a single Pidgeot yet... Also only got one copy of Victreebel

Victreebel is always fun. A pity Pidgeot ex isn't coming to me. So I am just using my old victreebel + egg ex deck but added flute and celebi.

@Yoshman9rl sadly i only have extras of regular mewtwo ex and celebi ex. gotta keep trying my luck before trading starts..
This deck looks fun, but I just haven't had any Luck pulling Pidgeot EX (actually the last Diamond based Pokemon I'm missing to complete the Mythical Island expansion or at least the non holo version of it
Maybe you can run the 60hp pidgey version to tank in early game : Joltik , Pikachu , and mankey coinflip

4 sets of 2 stage evolution seems like too much of a stretch 😂
They need to incorporate a Pokémon with Pickpocket (to take abilities) and Ability Lock (to stop abilities)

I have a pidgeot deck that i love, but I dont use two Pidgeot Ex BECAUSE I DONT HAVE TWO. iv pulled 900 cards and only got one. 500 points is A LOT OF PACKS.
Main problem of this deck is the double 2 stages lines to combine.
I've been spending the last week trying to get the 2nd EX for this deck on my f2p account T_T

This Deck is really dangerous to play against if you are a stage 2 Pokemon built.
It is a lot of Fun for that person playing it but not against it

Gyarados players are so toxic. They either not allow you to play or fail misty and immediately concede.
My deck version works better with more counters.
Victreebel x2 Pidgeot x1 Pidgeot Ex x1 Mew Ex x1 Celebi Ex x1 Pokeball x2 Search x2 Erika x1 Flute x1. I did my 45 wins with that deck, it's just amazing and fun except vs articuno deck where I lost almost all the time.
