Oh Sweetie, I'm so sorry for your losses. I can't even imagine. My heart is with you. ❤ I'm so happy that your kids got you some lovely things. I love the Tiffany scents for sure! The Rose Gold one is my favourite, but the original is lovely, too! The hand-held thing is hard to do! You're doing great! Awww, "A boss that laughs a lot". I love that. Is that a Gloria Vanderbelt, that last one that reminds you of your mom with the carnations? I"m sending lots of love to you, and I hope that things can get better and better for you. TH-cam will be here for you whenever you're ready. We're not going anywhere. ❤
And yes about the last one. VANDERBILT by Gloria Vanderbilt. My mom’s favourite flower was the carnation. So when I found out that the GV fragrance was a carnation fragrance, it became the fragrance I would wear when I was thinking about my mom. My mom hated perfume, so I don’t have a scent to remember her by except for the original pink Oil of Olay. 🥰
@@EauDeMichele I think the scent of Oil of Olay is as evocative as any perfume. Certainly distinctive. It's a good scent. One could be remembered for FAR worse. xo
Carnations were well used in the older perfumes and I loved that so much !! Looking forward to hearing your picks for spring ,I’d love to see you do my Tag video ! Hugs 🥰
I love ALL those fragrances! Vanderbilt is a lifetime love, I have always loved Tiffany, I adore Twilly but have never owned it and L'interdit is interesting because I never cared for it in the 80's-90's but I really like the new version. Hey I think I read somewhere that Audrey Hepburn wore 4711 fragrance in Breakfast at Tiffany but I could be wrong. I only just read that the screenwriter of that film , Truman Capote, had Marilyn Monroe in mind for it first MM's acting coach Susan Paula Strasberg said she shouldn't do the role.the studio hired Audrey to do the role! How different that movie would have been! Very fun video!! I think we have similar taste in fragrances and that always feels nice!
Yes. My Tiffany fragrance smells very classy to me 😊 I read the original Breakfast At Tiffany’s and I can so see why Truman Capote wanted Marilyn Monroe for the part. I’ll have to look into Marilyn wearing 4711. That would be really interesting to know.
