First heard the beat and thought it was the actual game's soundtrack. You guys NAILED IT on this one! Dark edgy techno, dreary piano, geeky but thematically matching lyrics: that's 100% a Metroid song if I've ever heard one!
Now those are the exact words!
Two things, one, I love the synthwave style of the beat good job. And Two this song helped me with making sense of the games title. That the Dread could mean the Dread realization of what Samus has become.
This is the first Andrea Storm solo that really hits the same vibe as JT classics, the others just don't feel the same. I love it!
Well this one was actually made by skull, some of the recent ones with Andrea solos aren’t, so that’s why they don’t feel like a regular jt music song.
I have to agree. The new JT just doesn’t feel the same as the old one.
I'm not a rap person, but Andrea Storm Kaden always brings an element of music to videos that I would otherwise dislike. The only reason I've watched the Doom Eternal rap as many times as I have were to hear her top notch vocals and lyrics ("You feeeeester~ with a fearsome infectiooooon~! Even a heart so pure, to be distorted by the violence behind good intentiooooons~!") so when I am a HUGE Metroid fan though so when I saw not only a song about my favorite franchise but to find out it's entirely her, I knew this would be great. It has a sort of Evanescence sound to it. Not what I was expecting, but I like it!
