Africans shows lots of love to our jamaican family/artist but our artists never receive the same love from Jamaicans. Stonebwoy and lucky dube both performed in Jamaica and most never appreciated them. The crowd was super dead I was surprised and even one of the host was prodigious to stonebwoy saying things like "Africans never wore clothes and now they do, he even went on to called stonebwoy ugly" I was surprised because out of all African diasporans Jamaicans are more pan Africans

However, there are still some that are ignorant in their way of thinking, but I see that in all black cultures tbh. My family are from Jamaica but I support more African music than I do Jamaican music lol. Would be nice for us to come together more.
