Bravo! I foresee a plethora of dark ambient/experimental compositions being recorded worldwide as more of these Befaco units hit the streets. About time! Turn off the radio and TV folks! Crank up the Oneiroi!
Deeply fascinating. Impressive how this instrument is the result of musical and technical know-how. And impressive how you use it to create wonderful music!
I don't know if it's a good or a bad thing that I started watching this channel of yours. Like, the videos are amazing, but also my bank account jumps up in fear whenever a new video pops up.

We would ask you to do it, but we know you are busy with your illustrious career as a professional underwear model. Do you know anyone else who could make us a high quality dark ambient industrial soundtrack worthy of the original Silent Hill OST? @@i_never_asked_for_an_alias Yah, got few modules already in my rack , Dual Atetnuverter, Voltio, Rampage, Percal, Muxlicer and my last Crush Delay, still few that I wanna try
This is running on Owl platform. I have had similar idea and some iterations on Pure Data before, I think I will try to replicate it to Bela Salt module, should be very doable.
Oh, the name means dreams! I once knew an otter fur who had that in their name, but I never bothered to look whether it meant anything haha. (On the off chance you're reading this, thanks for introducing me to Neptunian and Postfur stuff haha)
Great video. My Oneiroi is on its way across the pond (I ordered it from Detroit Modular).... How did you create the background video content? It's... disturbing, but in a cool way 8^)
Only my bank balance will find this disturbing lol! When I can afford to buy this & 1 or 2 other modules to make train trip worthwhile I'd like to visit Elevator sound again in Bristol.
@@RedMeansRecordingModular If you fly your Oneiroi out to knobcon, we can have a stereo end-of-the-world drone off megapatch... Twoiroi. :D ________________ Oneiroi is too much fun. :) I am currently running 7 Turing machines into its modulation inputs. :) by the way.. how many octaves is your saw staying in tune before you get OSC drift? ? I used a bench power supply to calibrate mine.. and there is still a tad more that I was hoping for. Might have been my novice soldering...
I highly recommend trying hardware to see how much a tactile interface can inspire creation. If you can get the same from a screen and a mouse, I envy you fr haha
I need a medic! Roger that! - Remember to run a VST. You need still today hardware, multible software and an internet provider (min $600 HW+SW). Even if you update everything carefully, it is possible that your VST will no longer work in 10 or 20 years. If you work carefully with hardware instruments, you have a higher chance that it will still work or that you will find a used replacement. Byeeee.
Maybe the best video over the Oneiroi...it's your!

Damn, it must have been joy to make this video! Seems like a module of endless fun and exploration.
It absolutely was. This thing is wild.
I was already interested in Oneiroi, but now I really want one. Thank you for making this with virtually no extras.
39:00 Holy Moly, you got the gears, man....

that is otherworldly
Oh ho boy, you did it! Nice I’ll give this a proper watch n listen later
Ohhh a nice moody bit of doom ambient :D
I like how by the end of the video you've taken it from nightmare fuel of horrors to "oh I feel better now, I think I'll take a nice nap". Awesome.

Really cool atmosphere and sounds!
Definitely on my buy list as DIY project for fall this year. hope they will not be sold out immediately
Befaco are great. They have schematics, sofware, BOM etc. everything available. I built the Rampage not long ago. Love that thing.
I just checked the Befaco Shop.. The DIY is allready out of stock. 😭

Awesome! Skinny Puppy in 30HP
Dude needs to score the next American Horror Story/ Dead Space/ Left 4 Dead with that first harrowing banger!

😍😍😍
Hey Jeremy, not sure if you're aware but this video is currently unlisted, which probably explains the low view count. Great demo as always!
Yup. Keeping it unlisted until next week. Thanks.
Great! What patch are you using on the Osmose at the end? Thanks!
I was trying to avoid my osmose obsession damn you Jeremy! Ha ha. Brilliant
I take it you're looping the osmose into oneiroi?
where do u séquence the befaco ?
If it's getting any sequence it's coming from Pams
Beefaroni Icoo

disclaimer "....contains .. disturbing sounds"
I mean, are you trying to make it irresistible or what? :D
Yes!!!!

@@manweilermusic ive had issues with pitch tracking and i don't know whats up with that, yeah
I'm a simple man. I see a new Red Means Recording video and hit like. ☺️
The only thing I am disturbed by is that Pam's New Workout instead of the Pro 😆
PNW ftw
Me too tbh. I had no idea how dim the screen was on the pnw until I started filming by the window
It's digital. So basically, a $500 VST in dedicated hardware?

I can't believe people still comment stuff like this on synth videos. Truly mindblowing.
For real 😅
