Is this the one "Direct To Vinyl" as told by Jeff Porcaro?

That's what lead me to this album as well. Was wondering the same thing.

If this is the direct to disc recording, it is nearly inconceivable that musicians were able to perform with such precision song after song after song. And this isn't 4/4 pop, it's complex stuff... At least complex enough to make 99.9999% of musicians freak at the idea of trying it, in today's computer based recording.

@rosewood103 I have an incredible rip of this album. Not sure of the exact equipment used, but it sounds great! Let me know if you want to trade sometime. I'd love to have a full copy of this one!

Just get yourself a turntable and buy the lp, best way to hear it imo. Unbelievable album!

This was recorded direct to disc originally. It was one of the best sounding methods around.

If there are any Hideo Kojima fans, I'm pretty sure the soundtrack for one of his old games (Policenauts)was ripping off some of the stuff from this song. Not a bad thing obviously because it sounds great but it seems a bit jack. th-cam.com/video/J8JqMawqDCc/w-d-xo.html You have to listen a few minutes in at least (2 and half minutes I think is when it properly starts)
