Oh goodness, everything is so pretty. The bowl would look cute in my sea themed bathroom with little folded towels and soaps. Not too many though, I wouldn't want to hide the bowl. Maybe, some bigger shells sitting in it. 😍
I love the bowl. I can see it on the bathroom vanity with maybe some cosmetics or soaps in it. Can you imagine in an aqua colour in a bathroom or guest bathroom? Its just beautiful.. I love all the extras as well.
Michelle, that bowl is gorgeous. The shells really set it off. Now for new colors let’s try a deep burgundy. You had one the other day and gold. I think that would look beautiful together. But this one is truly amazing. Keep up the good work.❤❤❤
The bowl is beautiful!. I agree with the person who spoke about micro space. There is so much empty space you don't see. Additionally, the shells are porous & absorb some of the resin. This is what accounts for the color change.
Michelle the coloring of shells is a game changer! I love the shells and you are right that the colored shells are more expensive. Even though I just ordered a ton from Amazon ( no shells), I need a trip to Michaels. Love the bowl and keychains
I was an oyster shucker for years, I can really appreciate the beautiful things you make! I have a collection of pearls that I would love to try and do something with ❤
That bowl turned out so beautiful! I just love the mother of pearl too. I went to Michael's today. They only sell the small size now. They discontinued carrying the large pieces. I was so bummed. You did a very beautiful job on that , Michelle. Maybe for a idea , make it by doing your marble effect or maybe your crackle effect. Those would be beautiful too. I think it would look beautiful doing a beach scene too. Have a blessed day. ❤
You just gave me an idea. I have the same mold. I’m going to ombré my mold as I have the same one. Purple, turquoise, yellow, orange and green. I’ll pour each color and let it sit. Good way to use up my extra resin. I did make a bowl with translucent blues and greens “ocean colors” and put shells and starfish on the bottom. It came out really nice.
Very pretty. FYI, the reason for the resin taking up the room is because there is micro space between the shell's so the resin seeps into the spaces you can not see. It's like filling a jar with rocks, then pour sand into the jar. There is actually space left. You can still fill the jar with water and all will fit, this is actually a science experiment that was done years ago.
This bowl turned out gorgeous, Michelle. You could use it to hold makeup, jewlery, hair items, candy(Don's werthers.lol). I'm going to try & use my alcohol inks to dye some small shells I bought & see how it works. You have a blessed day.❤
..😑 why you tryna be funny? She IS One of the queens of resin, No Question. LOVE her work, thought process and personality resembling Southern Charm.. but this video.. was a mess. But she don't need you trying to be funny. That comment was dripping with sarcasm. Sarcasm sandwiching a truth.. #rude
PT.2 ( I reacted MUCH too quickly to a comment, THIS IS THE 0NLY COMMENT I SHOULD HAVE LEFT.) It came out GORGEOUS. I CAN SEE MY SCARFS IN IT.. #Browns&Golds
I collected some abalone shells from a local beach over Spring Break and did the very thing you showed here. I too was amazed the color didn’t run. Now you’ve got me wanting to do some more. The seashell bowl looks amazing!
What a beautiful bowl, the abalone shell is just gorgeous and the dyed key chains are lovely. I would love to see a dried flower bowl made, in blues and reds I think that would be awesome for July 4th.
Hi Michelle. I love watching your content. A little tip... You may want to try stirring a little bit of resin and the loose pieces you're going to use in a bowl, just to get them coated evenly.
Gorgeous. I’ve tons of big abalone shells I brought back from the Calif beaches. Boss used to dive for abalone. Gave me the shells as well as abalone. Yummy stuff. ❤❤❤ this bowl. Beautiful. 🥰
That bowl is gorgeous!! You could use it for candies, fruit, catch-all, or succulents. And thank you for doing the experiment with the coloring of the shells. That was so cool & informative. Those keychains turned out really pretty as well.
These are beautiful ❤ I get my mother of pearl shells from Michael's. $10.99 for 16oz. I used them in my large turtle mold and they were gorgeous 😍 Thank you for always sharing and giving new ideas!
So so pretty 🤩 maybe some flowers down the side and like moss for the bottom. Or an ocean theme would look great like underwater duet to like the ripples in it. And sand at the bottom.
I was so happy to see you use the different sized shells! This is another mold I have that I’ve never used! I ordered some shells after I saw your video the other day. Ready, set go! These shells are awesome! Thank you so much for continued inspiration!
Ok, this bowl is just stunning!!! I would like to buy it if it's available. It's not in your shop so, if it was for sale I'm sure it's been sold but I had to ask. I would love to give it to my mom for her birthday. Her home is all nautical and I know she would love it. Thank you for another amazing tutorial!! 🐚🏖🪣🐳🐋🐠🐡💙🤍
I'm sorry! You would need to follow my eBay store because 95% of the time they are sold before the video hits TH-cam! I have several people who purchase my demos the second they hit eBay.
I love abalone shells, and this peace comes out beautiful, Michelle. I really love what you make, and for you to show us for the very first time, without you knowing how it is going to come out, is just brilliant ❤ thank you for sharing, and I am off to to do what you just did, and see how it comes out! Thank you ❤
I've made this and used pebble rocks an sand , I put them in before the resin but that was not a good choice so the next time i put some resin in first then the sand and it worked better.

That would be a good succulent plant bowl with just a clear dark colored bottom❤❤😊😊
Michelle, that bowl is gorgeous. The shells really set it off. Now for new colors let’s try a deep burgundy. You had one the other day and gold. I think that would look beautiful together. But this one is truly amazing. Keep up the good work.❤❤❤
🥰
Bowl is beautiful but those shells take it to gorgeous. ✌️❤️🤣 peace, love and happiness

A struggle but OH HOW BEAUTIFUL ❤❤❤❤❤❤And so glad you tested coloring the shells
Thanks for the tip of buying abalone shells at Micheal's, and dying them. Brilliant!

Everything was beautiful surprising it was worth it

I love it! Abalone is so beautiful! Thanks for sharing!❤ Next one in teal alcohol inks and lots of crushed crystal
Great idea, dyeing the shells! Bowl is beautiful!!
Very beautiful. You set a catch all dish. Put it in your entrance way for keys and etc. I also love the shape of the bowl love the key chains
Thank you so much 😊

I think they've used that to teach kids something about life too. I'll have to look that up.
@@ntyler71yes the most important things in life are the rocks 2 nd most important sand and then everything else water.
Beautiful ❤️. Thank you for the tip about colouring the shells...💐
Those shells work great in the turtle mold. I use the multi colored shells.
I think this is stunning! My #2 favorite! Thank you!! ❤
that one turned out really well. Love the key chains also.
WOW!! That really turned out beautiful!!!

It amazes me how much resin it still takes even though you are putting in all those shells
I don’t understand it 😕
Thank you Michelle .Have a blessed day.

That is beautiful! It was worth the workout you got doing it!💪🏻
It's absolutely stunning 😍 the shells sure pop in resin x
Gorgeous! I think if you filled the bowl with big clear glass balls, you could still see the beauty of the bowl. 😍
In the past I have used glass and they disappeared on me!

Gorgeous as always!
I am loving these abalone projects.
I agree!! 😁
Very, very nice.
You should get the Istoyo stand mixer so your resin mixes while you do all your other stuff. Its very handy! I love it!
That’s the mixer I use everyday 😊 I just like to continuously scrape my sides by myself
@@glitznglitterbymichelle1 but you use it by hand?? I scrape the sides after as well but I let that thing mix itself while I'm prepping.
Well, another success hits the books with a flash and a bang. Gorgeous results. ❤❤❤❤❤
