Good job. I'm planning to take my dash out also...but I'll be wrapping it because when it was in car I blew up my job with wrapping and I gotta make it up
I've tried. You gonna have to twist the dash a lot and pull from the passenger side. If you are having issues getting that nut off the steering wheel, you could lower the steering column. There are (4) 12mm bolts/nuts that the steering column is attached to the large cross bar. That may give you more room
@@guardianracing9073 - another trick to remove the steering wheel is to give it a couple solid whacks with a rubber mallet before you take the large 19mm nut. It works every time!
I prefer the lowering of the steering column myself. No reason to mess with the clock spring and airbag. And if you're removing the dash for any other reason (heater core/evap) you're just one step ahead when you have to remove the crash bar.
LOL. Yea, I normally do when it comes to engine rebuilds.. I put everything in order in the garage. There really isn't that many bolts, and most are obvious where they go. Almost impossible to mix up.
Awesome video bro, thank you!
God Bless you wherever you are this make my project so much easier
You are a saint, my friend.
Thank you so much for the great details

allen or hex? i grabbed my allen wrenches but it looks like you have a hex in hand and mid way through taking this out
Thanks for the upload. Could you remove the dash without taking the steering wheel off?

@@guardianracing9073 It may be hard, but is it definitely possible?

Best way to take out the wheel is to just smack the sides
Rubber mallet works like a charm, and has never let me down.
Thnk you, i have the sticky dash issue also
ive taken my bezel around my tachometer off without removing the steering wheel. why was the steering wheel removed?
I was taking the dash out. Not just the bezel.
Great Video!!!
