Do you two have jobs? Yes! We both have full time careers. Brian is a Software Engineer and Kerry is a Graphic Designer.
Is this vlog a paid promotion with the cruise line? No, we have never worked with a cruise line before (I doubt they even know who we are 😂). If that ever changes, we will be sure to let you know in the video.
What are those black pouches around your neck? We use the lanyards to carry some camera equipment, but many cruisers like to wear lanyards to hold their room key card.
What camera do you use? We typically use the DJI Pocket II, however, when we are in the water we use the Go Pro Hero 9, and in Alaska we occasionally used the Nikon P1000 for wildlife shots. What is a GUSS? GUSS is our name for a Towel Animal! It is a childhood memory for Brian that has lived on for years. You can see the home video moment where GUSS was born in Adventure of the Seas Day 6 (We Made the News) and Allure of the Seas Day 3 (Sea Day).
Is that one thing you said serious? Almost certainly not. If you’re new to the channel, we have really dry, sarcastic senses of humor. So if you’re questioning if it’s sarcasm - it probably is.
How do I ask a dinner time question? Leave a comment on any video and let us know it’s supposed to be answered at dinner time. We’re always looking for new questions (even if the next cruise we can answer it on is a long long way out).
Is it really pronounced CoCo “Key”? Royal Caribbean has said itself that it is pronounced “Key” in a FAQ of their own here: creative.rccl.com/Sales/Royal.... To each their own on this pronunciation!
When and how did you meet? We met in February of 2020 via a dating app. We answer this question in more detail in our Independence of the Seas Day 2 (Swimming with Pigs) video.

I just got back from a cruise of the eastern Caribbean. Just a tip, if you can bring your own goggles to chill beach and swim around you will see all kinds of random fish a lot the rocks near shore and out by the white buoys near the ship side. It was free awesome fun if you dont want to go into the water park.

We went last March, and the Oasis pool was freezing. The ocean was quite cool as well. Warmer than back home in Wisconsin though.

My theory on your towel animal. He has the TV remote, so he's just chilling and relaxing, so he has one arm back over the top and behind of his head....I look like that when I'm in my recliner watching TV...kind of a stretching position. Dinner Question (knowing I've not yet seen all of your videos) What is your favorite cruise line, and if you had the option to live on a ship for a year, which ship/cruise line would it be? (money being no object, but you only had a standard balcony...no premium suites).

So I’ve watched all your cruise series except for Odyssey (don’t worry I’m watching that next) but I was also bummed you guys didn’t get to do the escape room because I wanted to know how it was. How come you guys didn’t do the escape room on the Freedom or the Allure?

Hi is the snorkel gear free or for rent ? How much ?
You can rent it for about $40-$45 per person or bring your own and snorkel for free. The shop by the pool also had some sets for purchase too. If you decide to rent, I would do it on the app or online before your cruise just to make sure you get a set - not sure if they ever run out, but the other excursions have limits on how many can buy/rent the equipment typically.
