    The one, definite thing that distinguishes the scooter scene from the motorcycle fraternity is the personalisation of the machines. No two scooters here are alike. Every one has its owner's unique touch. On a bike rally, apart from a few customs, you get row after row of Japanese bikes in standard trim. Yaaaaaawn! Scooters are way cooler! You make them individual. An expression of the owner.

    £6,500 for a scooter,I remember when you could buy them for a few hundred.Need to be rich to be a mod these days.

      I bought a 2011 one for £300 in April then stripped it to the frame for refurbishment...a Peugeot Tweet 125

      @@hants1 I have a 1981 Vespa P200E for sale-totally rebuilt with every moving part replaced -resprayed-still running it in. MOT'd until March 2022. Immaculate. Looking for around £3,500
