we are like waaaaaaaaaaaaay far to compare this to the marvel select (in terms of paint and sculpt) marvel select starts to become loose after just minutes of posing so i don't prefer loose and wobbly figures but in terms of look the proportions the paint and sculpt on the select can't be compared for my personal opinion. i agree this ML looks sick but the torso is weird and that's the only problem that i have
As someone who's read the AC series, I do wish the figure looked more like how he originally looked rather than a variant, but besides that the figure's pretty cool!
I prefer going out to physical stores to get new toys , but unfortunately right now , my physical retail stores suck. Because they’re toys are not always in stock.
Definitely a badass new Carnage! I'm loving that new headsculpt and how the black tendrils are sculpted on top of the figure throughout. I wish this one came with the morphing Ax accessory with newly sculpted black tendrils on it too.

This one has the sculpted lines and stuff, but the other carnage has the classic line pattern along with the axe hand, and kletus head. They’re both good figures, but if i could only have one, id definitely keep the older monster venom baf one
Eh. After seeing the comparison of this guy to venom, i just realized how much i want habro to release a grendel symbiote figure some time in the future. Like, if you've read absolute carnage, you know who. Not carnage bonded with osborn, but the grendel dragon symbiote bonded with the weird, skeletal, freakishly tall cletus kasady, who actually kinda towered over venom (which is what i was reminded of during the size comparison.) I picked up and reread some of absolute carnage earlier today so i still have that panel fresh on my mind. It would be really cool to maybe get him as a BAF. I know it sounds like i'm complaining, but i'm not. I'm so excited for this wave and can't wait to go out and get in November (cuz i dont have a credit card and havent preordered it.)
My Venom on my display is the Toybiz Spider-man Classics version, which has all the sculpted goopy symbiote details, so I’m very excited to get this new Carnage to aesthetically match that venom.i thought about getting the Toybiz one or the Revoltech, but for $20 this new figure is definitely the way to go for me

I bought at least one of every individual issue, including the build up books for the Absolute Carnage run. But, I have not yet sat down to read it all. I still have my original Comic Check list all marked off for that series, it's one of the few times I've went all in collecting every book for a run like that... Now I just have to sit down and start reading it.
I got this figure for Christmas, and I gotta say, 9.5/10 figure. Could've used more accessories like symbiote hand-blades or hand-axes, but overall a great figure. I honestly prefer using the alternate, non-Knull-ified Carnage head (the one without the swirl) 0:45 Also I can't believe 2018 movie Venom & the Carnage figure were a part of the *same line* with Phage, Carnage-Infested Kid Arachnid & Gwenom 🤯🤯

After giving mine a deeper red paint job I went over the black just to touch things up. Do not look at this figure with a magnifying glass. If your like me you'll spend the next 30 min painting every missed vein. Tedious but a blood red Carnage is sooo much nicer. Next bit of punishment may be inking the muscle tendons so they pop more. They did such an amazing job, I just really want a Woody Harleson head now.

I liked the older carnage that came with the Cleatus head and I planned on selling this one but when it came down to it I couldn’t let it go so now I have both.

Gotta be honest this figure does remind me a little bit of the Ultimate Carnage from the Ultimate Spider-Man comics. Hasbro really needs to make more Ultimate Spider-Man characters: Ultimate Black Suit Ultimate Venom Ultimate Carnage Ultimate Electro (both regular and blue versions) Ultimate Rhino (Toybiz did make one in the Spider-Man Classics line but the scale and the articulation is terrible!) Ultimate Doc Ock (Again Toybiz did make one but gimmicky and no proper tentacles) Ultimate Scorpion And Ultimate Shocker. Please Hasbro make these characters!
