I try to add quantity, and quality with my factions. Currently, I have a faction that is based around LUCM, and has 80+ units as of me writing this. It’s not released yet nor finished, but I’d say it’s pretty good so far.
I made a faction that adds more units to the factions, sadly they don’t have custom illustrations, so they probably won’t get much recognition, even if they’re pretty good quality if I say so myself
The Faction I made is between quite challenging to super hard when I think about this video AdriKon. It does play as a story however with details of the characters to talk about, although I have to wait when the xbox's full release for this faction. When it happens I'll be fixing some of the characters that are a bit over powered like the Cleric dealing 10x the dg which is 360 to the enemy. There are Five segments in the game you got the standard army consisting around 20 characters about at a fair challenge the other 3 are posing a harder difficulty ranging from a Rich city to Royal Citadel to sorcery characters and They each have a guardian of their own. The finale is the Demons. (In my imagination they have demonic strength making it where they think WE are puny to them so there's not many) Thankfully there's no range to them however the Tyrant is the Encore to this.
As an added bonus incase things are too difficult the players are given a special faction revolving a character around a specific faction. (In a way the 12 factions Tribal to wildwest as well as good and evil are gonna have 1 character specifically given to the players each costing 2000) legacy may be crossed off for a couple reasons but if anyone thinks it should be added than I'll follow it although there's a lot of ideas for it for the faction By the way I should look at clubmasters to see what he made
This is actuaslly really good advice for all of the little Timmies out there making the worst Units you can ever Imagine. It's like I'm almost the boss of the workshop. Because they mostly reupload stuff without creditting the actual creators, like some People repost "Halo-John-117" and I've seen him reuploaded almost everywhere in the public workshop. It makes my heart hurt knowing that people don't know how to make good units.
Unit creator explained: The good: balanced, good looking units that have either creative gameplay or are cool reskins or upgrades of landfall units (brawler but with sword, tougher sarrisa ect) The bad: ugly units that are wildly overpowered or badly optimized, usually have either way to many cosmetics or not enough, no blending costumes or unique ideas The ugly: woW GuYS i MadE A BANNANA WITh DArK PeasANt hANds aND IMpaLE ItS sO sillY AND QuiRky I bET NOBoDy elSe hAs madE ThIS!

You are absolutely tight, there Is people that do horrible units, for example, some ww1 units i download sere using Roman clothing and didnt have shoes, and this was Just an example, the workshop Is full of shit
I don't play TABS, but I sure do get the feeling. The Portal 2 Workshop is in a similar state, it's a mess The issue is that very casual players will be attracted to this simple and low effort content, making it as popular if not more than more interesting but also more complicated things
There is a good side to all the units: Weak units are fun to absolutely destroy or make fun of them. Or just spamming at really strong units Balanced units are good at really anything. I shouldn't have to explain this one Op units are fun at least for me because of watching enemies get absolutely ragdolled by the op units
I've made some decent factions on the workshop, but they just get overshadowed by the "crazy thumbnail factions". It's a shame seeing how I can spend literally days working on a faction only for it to get three downloads. If you guys want, just search up something like "Enhanced Tribal" under the name "superkid1019" (pls ignore the cringy username, made my steam account when I was really young), it would really help boost my self esteem

mine's on my now broken xbox. i tested it before and it does still exist somewhere out there in the workshop.

And there's two types of units people create. Normal ones, and cursed ones.
The cursed ones are part of a secret organization.
I'm fine with the cursed ones, I just don't like the unoriginal or non-creative ones
