The way I see it, projectiles get reflected, and melee attacks get shoved to the side: rock doesn't stick together after it hits a person, so even if he deflected the rock, it would crumble around the blade and the pieces would still hit him. However, by this logic, firestrike should also go through deflect. Now, Drill, I have no answer for
bc rock has a long cooldown and a long wind up animation. its really easy to react to so to balance it acts as an exception to matrix and reflect abilities

Doom fist rocket punch CAN be countered by drill dash because its hitbox is bigger, if doom is punching and you dash him after his punch cant reach you
On the rein pin one... Just last night it happened twice in one game where venture did NOT get pinned when dashing into a rein charge. So there are definitely edge cases on this somehow.
Very good question. I know you can burrow on top of the Petal (which makes no sense, IMO you should fall through it). I wanna say yes, since it removes Venture's collision with most other deployables, like Torb Turret, but Platform has always been weird.
Venture _can_ drill dash rein away, however it can only happen if he doesn't pin the venture, happens mostly when you would usually just bounce off the rein charge.

I played Illari once, used my ult and in the exact moment got hit by Venture´s Ult and I was surprised how it got me while I was flying but if Tectonic Shock has some vertical limit which can still reach it´s no wonder it got me.

I'm way too late but haven't seen this pop-up anywhere. It's mostly speculation but i've noticed something peculiar about drill dash. You not only carry you're momentum but i swear you become weightless for a second after drill dash ends. If doom punches you in that state, you're momentum doesn't halt because it considers it the end of drill dash. Giving letting you keep momentum and flying much farther because you descend slower. This is how it feels to me
I really appreciate that while burrow cancels a lot of enemy abilities, it also denies a lot from your teammates, there's an advantage but a price to pay the other way around
Does new mauga have up to 50 or 70% dmg resistance, due to armour and cardiac dmg resitance? - armour = -20 dmg (up to 50%) - CO = - 40 % dmg so if you do 40 dmg would it go down to 20 (capped at 50%) and stay there or would it go down to 12 and which is applied first armour applied than DR applied or DR than armour
Venture can burrow into Lifeweaver's Petal Platform and not fall through. Despite being made out of biolight, rubble falls out. Venture can also burrow on bridges and not fall through. Such a thing would be nice in objectives like in Nepal or New Junk City

I find the one with baps lamp hilarious, cause theres no reason that should reach and there was a video where flats said you can counter her ult by jumping. You can jump over torbs or reins ult why would you be able to jump over this ult

Venture can activate burrow without touching the ground. The only they cant burrow when lifted by sigmas ult is because gravitic flux cancels movement abilities.
i know this isn't relevant to the video, but i wanted to get this out to the public just in case my report doesn't go through. and im not sure if this is a known bug but-- doom fist's slam is still bugged, here in this match i played i was supposed to be hit by the slam, went back to the replay and saw the visual affects of blood to show that i was hit. however, I (the team 2 mercy), didn't take damage? the code is WP82CD and it happens between 2:20-2:25
What CC ultimates (Grav, Flux, etc) is venture able to use tectonic shock during, if any? I know that Lucio can still beat during both of them, and while Rein can shatter during Grav, he can't during Flux.
In Overwatch 2, overhealth replaces temporary shields and gives only half ultimate charge, so do Venture's temporary shields work like overwatch 1 temporary shields by giving full ultimate charge?
Fun fact, if you're playing bap and are weak, ventures ultimate kills bap in immortality field even if the drone is still up. The blast breaks the drone and kills you at the same.

I‘d like to know how large the vertical hitbox of tectonic shock actually is because I just keep getting by that thing as Bap when using exoboots. Not at max jump height ofc but I feel like the hitbox is larger than one would expect
one thing that annoys me with venture is how you can’t hack them out of their ult as somber. you’re telling me i can do it with like any other hero but not venture? the only way you can actually hack their ult is if you time it perfectly which basically takes guessing.

Brig shield bash also goes through the deflect

No way to tell, Burrow lasts for a maximum of 4 seconds and Harmony Orb stays on someone for up to 5 seconds out of LOS.
