Thanks for posting ! Glad you got the stator replaced. Couple things for future projects : NEVER stick a screwdriver through a flywheel with an internal stator, you can damage the windings. And those pullers are designed to be used with the flat surface out, not the tapered surface, that way the bolts stay centered.

It's finally getting spark. Haven't had a chance to start it yet due to a new electric start issue.
It also maybe the pickup on the stator. Being an ac system, it's easier to change out whole assembly being it is sold as a one piece unit.
